About: I grew up loving and caring for animals. I had dogs, cats, and even parrots growing up. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have experience pet sitting for various friends and family. I used to volunteer with the Humane Society where I walked dogs and helped work play groups which helped the dogs gain social skills and helped them to get adopted. I currently volunteer with a statewide animal rescue organization doing technical animal rescues which include rescuing dogs, cats, birds, horses, and, on occasion, certain exotic animals. Our most common rescues include dogs that fall down cliffs and horses that are cast in their stalls and can't get up or are otherwise stuck and require assistance getting back up. I love getting to work with all sorts of animals and have learned a lot from the other volunteers which include EMTs, Firefighters, and Veterinarians. I am able to maintain any schedules you keep for your pets such as when to feed them and any medications they might need to take. Marnie took great care of our two dogs and our home while we were traveling for the Fourth of July weekend. She stuck to their schedule and always fed them and took them out on time and was very communicative throughout her stay. She also sent us lots of photos. Our other sitter cancelled last minute, but I was able to get a message to Wendy before our plane took off and upon landing she had responded that she would step in.
