Safety, trust & environment
I find pets are more relaxed and less anxious if allowed to continue their normal routine in the comfort of their own home. You can trust that I will always be respectful, responsible, and trustworthy when in your space. When this isn't an option, I do allow boarding in my home for one pet at a time if they are friendly and comfortable with my sweet & friendly Labrador who loves other dogs and cats.
Ratings and reviews
There are good Rover sitters, and then there are GREAT Rover sitters. Wendy is a 5 star plus sitter. Our other sitter cancelled last minute, but I was able to get a message to Wendy before our plane took off and upon landing she had responded that she would step in. She had snow, a power outage, and had stepped in without a meet and greet and handled all that came her way. She sent regular pictures of our pets and it was clear they took to her right away. So grateful for her. One of the best sitters we have had.
Wendy was awesome, as always! She was very communicative and sent regular updates and photos of Nook while we were away. She kept the house spotless, and it was clear that Nook was happy and well cared for when we returned. We highly recommend Wendy!
Wendy is fabulous! She loves animals and treats them with love and respect. I have 2 Australian Labradoodles and a kitty. They loved her at first site. She not only took care of the pets,but was willing to do extras like getting the mail and watering plants. She had vacuumed the house before I got home and the house looks great. My doodles seem fine and I was gone for 11 days. Usually I do not travel because I don't like to leave them with anyone. You will not be sorry if you leave your precious little ones with her. She is just the best.
Wendy took excellent care of our two dogs who have very different temperaments and needs. They were relaxed and happy when we got home. Her communication skills are excellent - daily texts and photos! I will definitely hire her again!
Wendy was great. She was very communicative leading up to her stay at our house and throughout the time we were gone. She clearly loves animals - we felt our cat was in good hands. He's really shy and Wendy made an effort to keep him company and entertain him as much as he'd accept, and still give him space. We thought her rate reasonable and worth what she offered, and especially appreciated that she slept at our place. Will definitely have Wendy again.
Wendy is simply amazing, she has stolen the hearts of our dogs and ours as well! She is truly gifted with animals. We couldn't be more grateful that she has entered our lives!

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mom who is now an empty nester. I, along with my daughters, have provided pet care in our neighborhood for the last ten years. Now that my youngest has gone off to college, I am choosing to continue caring for my furry friends, and look forward to meeting your pet! My flexible schedule allows me to give your pet all the attention they deserve!
