Caring Pet Lover for All Ages
I’ve been caring for animals for over 6 years and love spending time with pets of all ages. I’ve worked with puppies and kittens (as young as 5–8 weeks old) as well as senior dogs and cats who need extra patience and care. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and supplements to both dogs and cats and following any special routines they may have. I’ve also cared for a variety of personalities and behaviors, including leash-reactive dogs, dogs who are reactive to people or other animals, Velcro cats, and more independent or “spicy” cats. I always approach each pet with patience, consistency, and lots of love so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

While I’m currently unable to host pets in my own home, I make sure your pet feels safe, secure, and comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m happy to meet beforehand so you can get to know me and feel confident leaving your pet in my care—especially for overnight stays or extended visits. I treat every pet like family, following their routines closely and prioritizing their well-being, including administering medications or supplements when needed.

My 11 month old pup is super active and Johanna went above and beyond ensuring she was engaged in play and got plenty of exercise. She kept me informed on everything they did each day and sent lots of pictures. She was safety conscious knowing the Harper J is a bit mischievous. Really flexible and went out of her way to make sure Harper J was comfortable and taken care of. Johanna definitely alleviated any fears I had leaving Harper J to be cared for. I would and will use her again for and housesitting needs in the future.

Johanna is an excellent housesitter and pet sitter. She goes above and beyond with our elderly cat. On our most recent trip, she also had to deal with a non-pet emergency at our house, and she took care of it competently. Highly recommended!

Harmonogram
Pet care fits very well into my routine. I work part-time as a caregiver for my father, but I’m only needed if his other caregivers call out, which happens very rarely. This means my schedule is very open and flexible, and I can easily adjust to fit your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, feedings, playtime, or any special care.
