I work remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I'll have plenty of time to look after your beloved pets! I can easily stop by and check on them at your home as often as you'd like. I also love being outside so going on multiple walks a day would be a joy for me.

I have years of experience with dogs and I also had cats growing up too. I do not currently have any pets living with me so your pet with have my undivided love and attention. I am able to maintain any schedules you keep for your pets such as when to feed them and any medications they might need to take. I'm certified in Pet First Aid/CPR and work with animals regularly due to my work in animal rescue so you can rest assured that your furbabies will be in good hands!

Please let me know if your pets have any medical issues and/or are on any medications and what the schedule is for those medications. I also would love to know their general schedule for meals and walks so that I can make sure your pets maintain their regular routines even when you are not home. If your pets have any allergies or special diets that I should be aware of please let me know. The more information the better! If they have a favorite toy or a quirky trait I'd love to know about it! I'd love to know anything about personalities too! If they are more quiet and reserved or energetic and boisterous I love all types, but it would be nice to know ahead of time so I can make sure to tailor my care to what will make them the most happy and comfortable.
A typical day
I will tailor my care based on your pet's personality type. If they love to explore and play then we'll play lots of games and go on any of the numerous beautiful walks/hikes around the area! If your pet is more of a homebody then I'm more than happy to chill out with them, play with their favorite toys, and snuggle if that is what they prefer! Every pet is unique so I will do whatever makes them the most happy and comfortable!

I grew up loving and caring for animals. I had dogs, cats, and even parrots growing up. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have experience pet sitting for various friends and family. I used to volunteer with the Humane Society where I walked dogs and helped work play groups which helped the dogs gain social skills and helped them to get adopted. I currently volunteer with a statewide animal rescue organization doing technical animal rescues which include rescuing dogs, cats, birds, horses, and, on occasion, certain exotic animals. Our most common rescues include dogs that fall down cliffs and horses that are cast in their stalls and can't get up or are otherwise stuck and require assistance getting back up. I love getting to work with all sorts of animals and have learned a lot from the other volunteers which include EMTs, Firefighters, and Veterinarians.

Our plans for pet care fell through at the last minute. Thankfully Heather was available and was able to stay with our fur babies. Our cat and our puppy absolutely loved her and she was so kind and took such great care of them along with being respectful to our home while we were gone. 10/10 highly recommend. We will definitely be reaching out to her again for our other out of town trips!

Heather was amazing! She watched our 2 dogs in our home for several days and went above and beyond in every way possible. Without being asked, she went out and bought more dog treats so we wouldn’t have to when we got home. She washed the sheets and towels and remade the bed she slept in. The house was spotless and she even cleaned up the dog waste in the yard without being asked. Heather is proactive and responsible and has great vibes. We will definitely be booking her in the future!
Heather is such a great pet-sitter and person! She is my go-to person whenever I am out of town. Heather loves animals of all kinds and has a lot of experience. She takes very good care of my cat whenever I’m out of town, and I always come home to a happy cat! She is the gal you want watching your pets!
