I am 22 years old and I grew up with a black lab who had severe separation anxiety, so I understand firsthand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when caring for pets with unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs extra comfort while you’re away, I’m committed to providing attentive, personalized care that helps them feel safe and loved. I wrap up work around 1/2 pm so I have the entirety of my afternoons to care for my pet clients! I can work every day of the week! Weekends will need to be 2 days in advance for approval. I own no pets of my own which is why I love this job. It allows me to still live on sweet pets while their owners are gone. About: I have owned a dog for seven years and I have taken care of numerous dogs over the years as well. I can take care of multiple dogs and I love to spend quality time and give them the love that they need. They are truly one of a kind animals and I love the joy that they bring me. I work part time at a fast food restaurant and I will be going to school two days a week starting in the fall, which gives me a lot of free time to dog sit, cat sit and spend overnights with them. About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life including a Russian Blue cat, two yellow labs, a pit bull. I have always been involved in taking care of my pets to the best of my ability. I currently own a 185 lb English mastiff. I have availability almost all the time. I can’t stay at the house all day, as I generally leave to the gym at least once a day, but other than that I can stay at the house. I can usually stay at a house for 1-3 days. I always like to keep pets company as I believe that their happiness and well-being is always impacted by how I’m doing, so I always try to maintain a positive attitude around pets. I follow whatever directions the owner tells me to do.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: Hi, I'm Ash (he/him) and I grew up in Folsom up until college, now I'm 31 and struggling to get back into the tech industry. For the time being, I'm here for a side hustle to help get me by until I get back on my feet. As for my pet care experience, I lived with two Chihuahuas and a Calico for about 2 years during the pandemic from Oct 2020 to Oct 2022 and within the past year of Mar 2024 to present day, I've occasionally helped care for friends' pets. My experience in taking care of pets or meeting friends' pets for the first time, I've heard from owners that their animals are usually shy or hesitant with new people and yet have quickly warmed up to me. I'm not sure what it is, but I think my aura and energy seems to be received really well. It could be me being a calm, comforting presence, or my belly rubs & play time energy, I end up genuinely loving spending time with cats and dogs, adapting to their unique personalities and needs. I can be a very high energy person that can tire out big dogs from running around or playing fun games. I'm an extrovert-leaning ambivert, am well known for my golden retriever energy amongst my friends. I've been able to take the lead on many social avenues, which has helped me make more transmasc friends within the queer community 🌈 I started testosterone in May 2025 so I am gaining and adjusting to my newfound strength as I continue this journey, which has been a helpful yet unexpected challenge in managing larger dogs despite my size at 5'2" My schedule is very flexible right now, which means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs. At the moment, I’m currently searching in the job market, so pet or house sitting gives me a refreshing change of environment where I can focus and be productive while also giving pets the time, care, and attention they deserve. I focus on creating a calm and safe environment where pets feel secure and cared for. I personally like to carve out intentional one-on-one time for pets, at least 15 minutes of undivided attention for play, grooming, or snuggles. Whether it's while watching a video or during breaks, I make sure they feel loved and not overlooked. I also pay close attention to their cues, routines, and energy levels to keep them happy and comfortable in their own home.
