About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. Betsy is an outstanding and super friendly pet sitter. Our dog Philo has never been left with anyone but my wife or I and initially we were very nervous about leaving him with anyone else. Turned out to be a wonderful and extremely stress free outcome. Philo was immediately comfortable in his new surroundings and took to Betsy immediately. When we picked him up he was very relaxed and happy. Philo had made a true and genuine friendship with Betsy and for the first time we feel no hesitation in leaving him with Betsy in the future so we can do some things not suited for a dog. We feel blessed to have found Betsy, she treated our dog like he was her own. Don’t hesitate to contact Betsy or you’ll pass up a chance to have a great person take care of your family member!
