About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 15. Both friends and family have relied on me to-walk, feed, bathe, administer medications and give extra love to their fur babies. Growing up as a child I have always had a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My current experience in pet care is from working at a veterinary clinic and boarding facility so i can proudly say I have extensive experience with dogs from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who fear human and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. I’ve also worked with animals on a strict medical schedule. While I am currently working full time I am able to care for your fur babies before work(8am) during lunch(anywhere from 11am-2pm) or after work (5:30pm). If needed times can be adjusted please let me know at least 72hrs in advance. When letting pets outside I have a routine I like to follow. The most important thing to me is the pets safety so before letting them into the yard for play and or potty time I do check the yard for any misplace objects,iguanas,chickens, anything that could be a potential hazard to the pet. After I’ve deemed the yard clear then we can proceed to playtime or potty time. When on walks I do like to keep a short leash depending on the area in which we are walking if no cars I will loosen the lead so pet can explore more but if cars present I do like to stop/heel if possible.

About: It would be my pleasure to care for your pet. I am new to Key West, hence my newer profile. I have cared for pets and animals my whole life- in my own home, for neighbors, at rescues and shelters, and for family- for both extended periods of time and drop-ins. I grew up with cats, hamsters, rats, a turtle, my bunny, and my brother even had a sugar glider! My dad was allergic to dogs, but when I moved out on my own, I got my first dog Mars, an incredible husky/boxer/pit mix. He is no longer with us, but now my partner and I have a little Chihuahua mix named Chimi. Throughout the years and the various cities I’ve lived in, I have volunteered at shelters and fostered dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have an extremely flexible schedule, so I am excited to offer my services, especially on weekdays and weeknight or in a pinch! Let me know how I can help your family and your precious pets! I am currently working remotely and on my own schedule, so I have incredibly flexible availability. I would love to drop-in for some quick TLC, a walk or run, playtime, or discuss a longer stay! Unfortunately, we are renting so I cannot host pets in my own home at this time. I also live on base, so if you’re stationed there too, I’m able to get on base easily for walks, no extra coordination needed. Safety is my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed and stay alert to our surroundings, watching for other animals, traffic, and potential hazards. I respect your home by following your specific instructions – whether that's wiping paws before coming inside, securing doors and gates, or maintaining your dog's routine exactly as you've outlined. About: I grew up with a Jack Russell Terrier who lived to be 17 years old, and I currently have a 6-year-old Staffy-Dachshund mix that I rescued when he was under a year old who is my world. Caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. I regularly help my neighbors with their fur babies on both weekdays and weekends, and I treat every dog as if they were my own—with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and belly rubs! I love dogs more than people. 😊 I currently work part-time in healthcare, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pets. I'm available on weekends, several weekdays, and all evenings, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I'm happy to work around your pet's routine to ensure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I provide care in and near your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and truly love being around them. I understand how important they are to your family and will take great care of them like my own with love, attention, and plenty of cuddles! Your pet will be treated like part of our family 🐾❤️ I work at LKMC three days a week from 7 AM–7 PM, but I’m not gone the whole time, my husband is home around 1:30 PM, so your pet won’t be alone all day. On my days off, I’m home most of the time and love giving pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. I always aim to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I live in a clean, cozy apartment with my lovely cat, and dog. The building is in a quiet, private area with no traffic or outside dangers perfect for a calm and safe stay. Pets are always supervised, loved, and cared for in a peaceful home environment.

About: I used to take care of pets when their mommy and daddy went on vacation when I was 14 and I had to taken care of one rabbit, 4 cats and 2 dogs at the same time. It was my dream job. Currenty I don’t work, so I have a little too much free time. Every day except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I can take care of your pet and of course on weekends as well. :) I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, following their pets’ routines and needs carefully. I offer feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, updates, and a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel loved and secure.

About: I have several family members who have trusted me in the past to take care of their pets. Pets are family, and to some people they are children. In my care they will be treated as such. I am currently stationed on Naval Air Station North Island, and cannot have a pet of my own but would love to take care of yours. I am fully available in the afternoons. I work full time in the Navy but usually get off around 11-12. I can be pretty flexible for your needs as long as I am off of work! Communication is key. Communicate what your pet needs and I will provide just that. I prefer clients home, because your fur baby will feel more comfortable in the comfort of their home. Anxiety is real, especially for animals.

When I am not creating art, I bring that same energy, patience, and care to dog sitting. I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and overnight stays to keep your pup happy and active. One of my favorite dogs I have ever cared for is Tiki, a pool loving Jack Russell! Staying active and keeping dogs cool and well hydrated in the Keys heat is a huge priority for me. Whether your dog needs a fun, energetic walk or just plenty of play time and yard games, I am here to make sure they feel loved and safe. I work part time as an artist, which gives me a very flexible routine throughout the week. Because my schedule is open, I can easily fit in morning walks, midday drop in visits, and evening care. About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. I primarily pet sit in the Lower Keys but am also available for Key West for dog walking. I have a large fenced yard which opens into a park for playtime. We also have a doggie door and large porch for sunning and watching the neighborhood. I take my dogs on 2-3 walks a day along a little traveled area near our home.
