About: To say that I like dogs is an understatement. I’ve owned dogs my entire life, that’s a lot of years and a lot of dogs! Additionally, I was trained as a Level 2 Volunteer in a no-kill shelter in Chicago, providing care in both the adoption center and medical center. I also owned and operated a dog daycare and boarding facility in Michigan, prior to relocating to Key West. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and dispositions. Rest assured, I’m here to help! Please note: I can accommodate boarding females at my home, but not adult male dogs. I do have a fairly a flexible schedule and would love to fill my spare time by continuing my passion of taking care of dogs. I follow your instructions and follow the dog’s lead. I won’t put a dog in a situation they’re not comfortable with, taking whatever time is necessary to build a trusting relationship with your pup.
“This was our second time using Stephanie as a dog sitter. She was accountable, trustworthy, and responsible. She sends the BEST pictures of our pets and they obviously love their time with her on walks. She is a pro at expressing our paralyzed dog’s bladder and fearlessly pushes him around town in his stroller. She is the best! I think my dogs love her more than me at this point.”

About: I have pet sit my neighbors cats and dogs for friends and family for many years. I love animals and always treat those that I watch like my own! I am currently on summer break before heading off to college, so I have the free time to make pet care a priority. I do work part time, but my schedule is flexible. I am comfortable with dogs, so I have no problem caring for animals as an owner would. That goes for feeding, crating, walking, or any other instructions that I am given.
“Courtney was always great at getting back with me when I contacted with questions and such. She was able to let my pup out from my hotel room when we were on vacation, which was such a great help.”

“Katie did two walks for our Labradoodle today. She was right on time and promptly sent her reports and photos for each walk. Our dog seems to love walks with her, as we can tell from the pics. Katie is very accommodating with scheduling and very responsible. We will certainly book with her again.”

About: I have multiple years of experience with both housesitting and babysitting, which has helped me know how important it is to stick to feeding schedules, keep spaces tidy, and provide consistent care and companionship. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and responsible, and I always make sure to follow instructions carefully so your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Excited to meet your pup! I am available after 5pm to watch your pets while you go party! I’ll come to you at your house, resort, rental, etc. and make sure your pet is comfortable, entertained, fed, watered, and gets adequate potty breaks. I am currently completing an internship as well as working part-time, so daytime check-ins are possible but would be quick drop-ins. Overnight availability is 5pm-9am. I provide attentive in-home pet care, maintaining routines, feeding schedules, exercise, and medications as needed! Your pet will be comfortable and safe in a familiar environment while you’re away. Important Notes: -I do not transport your pet in my personal vehicle -I do not board your pet in my home -I do not take your pet off-leash when outdoors at any point, nor purposefully bring them into environments with potentially unfamiliar dogs (like dog parks) These terms are for both my own safety and the safety of your pet!
“Betsy arrived right on time, she sent several texts and pictures of Brin during his walk and their hour together. I will certainly be using Betsy in the future and would highly recommend her service.”

About: We have been living in Mexico for the past few years so that's why you don't see any recent reviews. We are returning to our Key West home in May 2026. Our 2026 Key West availability is mid-May through October. We have a fenced yard and I work at home so around most of the time. Our 3 labs have all passed over the rainbow bridge so this is how we get our doggie love these days. I volunteer with the Key West animal shelter and have also volunteered while in Mexico (those are dogs with a rough life). Both Gary and I are experienced dog owners, and our midtown Key West location is convenient. We are friendly but firm with the dogs and welcome your well-behaved, adorable pooch. We are flexible with drop-off and pick-up hours within reason. We are also super cautious with security and do not leave dogs outside in the yard while we are gone. Get in touch, we would love to hear from you. We have a fenced yard so there's some outside play space. I do not leave dogs unattended outside just to be on the safe side. We are both retired, so we have flexible schedules for playtime, walks, etc. Morning and evening exercise with the dog will be standard, unless you tell us otherwise. Our yard is fenced and we are diligent about never leaving dogs in the yard if we are gone from the house. If we're not there, they are in the house.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 15. Both friends and family have relied on me to-walk, feed, bathe, administer medications and give extra love to their fur babies. Growing up as a child I have always had a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My current experience in pet care is from working at a veterinary clinic and boarding facility so i can proudly say I have extensive experience with dogs from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who fear human and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. I’ve also worked with animals on a strict medical schedule. While I am currently working full time I am able to care for your fur babies before work(8am) during lunch(anywhere from 11am-2pm) or after work (5:30pm). If needed times can be adjusted please let me know at least 72hrs in advance. When letting pets outside I have a routine I like to follow. The most important thing to me is the pets safety so before letting them into the yard for play and or potty time I do check the yard for any misplace objects, iguanas, chickens, anything that could be a potential hazard to the pet. After I’ve deemed the yard clear then we can proceed to playtime or potty time. When on walks I do like to keep a short leash depending on the area in which we are walking if no cars I will loosen the lead so pet can explore more but if cars present I do like to stop/heel if possible.

About: I rescued my first dog at 7 years old and ever since I’ve been in love with taking care of animals and making sure their needs are met! I have a set schedule each week. Weekly availability is around 20-25 hours a week where I am able to come by and watch, walk, feed, and play with the animals. I like to make sure that the animals feel as comfortable as possible. Staying attentive to the animals is always a top priority while watching them, to ensure the animals are tended to and the owners are happy.
About: With five years of informal experience in caring for dogs and cats, I have acquired a deep understanding of their daily needs. I perform tasks such as providing balanced meals, tailored daily walks, grooming, play, and preventive care to ensure their health and hygiene. I own two cats and one dog, and I also care for the pets of friends and neighbors, offering them personalized attention, a safe environment, and plenty of affection. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Their pure, unconditional love and gentle spirits bring so much joy and peace into my life. Whether it’s the playful wag of a dog’s tail, the soft purr of a cat, or the graceful flight of a bird, every creature reminds me of the beauty and kindness that exists in the world. I believe that animals are not just companions, but true friends who teach us loyalty, empathy, and the importance of living in the moment. Caring for them and protecting their well-being is not just a responsibility, but a privilege that fills my life with purpose and happiness. With 5 years of informal experience in caring for dogs and cats, I bring a dedicated, passionate approach to pet care. I personally own two cats and one dog, and I also care for the beloved pets of my friends and neighbors. While my main profession is in gastronomy, my love for animals has driven me to continually refine my skills in feeding, walking, grooming, and offering affection, ensuring all animals feel safe, happy, and well-cared for.

This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous leaving my pup but Amy made me feel comfortable right away. The meet & greet beforehand was a huge green flag. She was attentive, patient & kept me updated daily, which I really appreciated. My pup was well taken care of and happy, which says everything. I would definitely recommend her & would book again!

Courtney was absolutely phenomenal and I gladly recommend her to anyone visiting or living in Key West! She is genuinely kind and upbeat and took great care of my 3 year old Doberman "Bolt" on hour long walks every day. He came back smiling and excited after every walk and the updates and photos were great. Thank you Courtney! We will be in touch if we are lucky enough to return next January!
