“David was our very first Rover experience and we couldn’t be happier! He came two days prior in order to meet us and the dogs and was able to develop a quick rapport-not easily done for our two senior, cautious dogs! On the day of booking, we were going to be away from cell service (Dry Torugas) so we were somewhat nervous. David, and the dogs did great. He sent pictures and left notes. He is a warm, friendly, responsible dog-lover. Highly recommend when you are visiting the Florida Keys.”

About: Lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for puppies through senior dogs. I’ve helped rescue and rehome dogs, so I’m confident working with different needs and personalities. “Fast response, meet and greet went really well and great communication both before and after the walks. Arrived on time, I am sure the dogs enjoyed their walks, got a couple treats after, full water bowls and they were supper happy when we got home. Thanks!!”

“Mackenzie has been amazing with my dog. She’s on time and trustworthy. My dog can be difficult since he’s full of energy and can be a little crazy sometimes but Mackenzie is very good with him. I would recommend Mackenzie to anyone that’s looking for a sitter or a walker. You can definitely tell she loves animals.”

“Lucy was great! We stayed at the Sugarloaf Key KOA and were planning a fishing trip, so needed someone to walk our big boy since we would be gone all day. Communication was great and she came to meet him before hand. I would definitely recommend her for anyone who needs someone to walk or check in on their fur babies!”

“Lu is amazing. She really cared for my baby Stella from 8 weeks (weewee pads stage) to now almost 7months. Snow, rain, or sun - she was always there for my baby. Would definely recommend her.”

About: I have lived in the keys for over 12 years and have helped many residents find dogs to adopt and have helped with training and exercising dogs. I have been caring for dogs and cats most of my life. I run a non profit animal rescue and have cared for as many as 20 dogs at a time. I am a PhD professional and I work from home. I am looking to raise money for my rescue and looking for dogs to exercise with. My 3 dogs will only do so much!! It has always been challenging to find people I trust to sit my dogs or care for them if I can't so I want to help my neighbors by offering this service. Let's discuss what I can do to assist you and your furry friends in living your best balanced life together. I work from home so I can easily take a break to let your dog out or take him for a run or walk. I can even take him to a sandbar or a paddle board ride. Dogs for boarding or day care in my home will be based on a case by case basis. I will come to your house as many times as needed to care for your pets. Dogs that come to my house will be exercised in whatever way they need, I have a fenced yard. I prefer to have over night dogs crated...but any over night dogs will be screened prior to make sure it's a good fit.

David was awesome, so responsive. Came to us the day before to meet us and go over everything! Totally trusted him with our dog and camper. Was so worth the $ to have a responsible person take our dog out while on vacation in a RV while we were going to be gone 15 hours. Thank you David and thank you for tips on what to see locally while in Big Pine Keys,
