“We were camping on vacation in the keys with our sweet dog , Shelby. We are protective dog parents and don’t like leaving her with people we don't know but we had a couple of day trips (golf and shopping) planned that would not be fun for Shelby so we asked our camp office if they knew of a reliable dog sitter in the area and they recommended we use Rover. We put in our information and low and behold we found a great sitter, Julie, and she was close by. Score! 👍🏼😀 She had a great rating, a daycare in her home and a couple of dogs of her own so we thought we would loosen the leash a little and give her a call. The first day Shelby was not to sure she wanted to stay without us but by the end of the day when we picked her up she was a happy dog and the second day she ran right up to Julie. We could tell she had a great day and she was exhausted (that was great for everyone.) We would highly recommend Julie for your dogs care. She sent us videos each day of Shelby’s activities and also kept tract of Shelby’s daily routine so we could easily keep her on track. About: I love dogs! I have dog sit for my Key West neighbors and looking for more dogs to take care of! I am stationed here with the Coast Guard and looking to pick up a little extra work during the week and weekends! I currently work with the Coast Guard down here in Key West. I work 7am-1pm Monday-Thursday, so I am available pretty often for your dogs. I have a 3 bedroom, 2 story home with a medium sized yard that is completely fenced in. I have had dogs at my home before and everything has gone well!

This includes, long term and daily visits, helping train and giving medicines. I grew up with family pets and always had several of my own at one time. My own sweet dog is 15 years old and still going strong and I also have an adventurous little cat. Fun fact: They are both international travelers and have been to 6 other countries and traveled more than half of the United States and lived on a sailboat for over 5 years with me. I love to stay active and outdoors so taking your pups with me is a fun way to spend time doing just that!

About: I’ve taken care of many pups from walks, rehab, and overnight stays. My husband and I have always had a dog throughout childhood and adulthood so have extensive experience. We will treat your little one as our own! My husband and I both work from home so we will spend all day with your pup and we frequently go on walks so they’ll be getting steps in! Since we work from home and take calls for work we are not able to accommodate vocal dogs (ex. Excessive barking, whining, etc.) please keep this in mind prior to booking. We live in a C class rv at Leo’s Campground where there is a dog park on site and we do have a fenced in patio so plenty of outside and play time for your pup(s) 😁

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’ve had farm animals. I’ve bottle raised animals. I’ve taken care of kittens and bottle fed them. I am a dog lover and passionate for animals. I have a fenced in yard. I’m home all day. I am currently not employed and have more time on my hands for Dog Sitting. I’m a part-time substitute Teacher. I am reliable and will do my best to accommodate pet owners than need pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs that are best friends. Being home full time means your pet gets something most sitters can't offer: a real presence throughout the entire day. No long stretches alone, no rushing home between commitments. Just consistent, attentive care from sunrise to bedtime. One thing to keep in mind: I don't drive, so all drop-offs and pick-ups take place at my home. I'll work with you to find a time that's convenient, and I'll make sure your pet is ready and waiting when you arrive! I keep a clean, pet friendly space where they can play around the house or relax on the couch with me. Our apartment does not have a private yard but there is plenty of open ground with grass outside for your pet to walk and sniff around. I’m very big on supervised interactions. I have a social dog (Shadow) and a shy cat (Mikael), so I’m used to managing different personalities and making sure everyone feels safe and respected. Your pet will be in my sight throughout the day, and I will stick to whatever feeding or potty schedule you provide to keep things consistent and stress free for your pet. I send photo updates throughout the day so you always know how your pet is doing.
