About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’ve had farm animals. I’ve bottle raised animals. I’ve taken care of kittens and bottle fed them. I am a dog lover and passionate for animals. I have a fenced in yard. I’m home all day. I am currently not employed and have more time on my hands for Dog Sitting. I’m a part-time substitute Teacher. I am reliable and will do my best to accommodate pet owners than need pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs that are best friends. I will also go to clients homes and walk their dogs and feed them. I do not do overnight dog or cat sitting at another home.

About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. I primarily pet sit in the Lower Keys but am also available for Key West for dog walking. I have a large fenced yard which opens into a park for playtime. We also have a doggie door and large porch for sunning and watching the neighborhood. I take my dogs on 2-3 walks a day along a little traveled area near our home.

“We were camping on vacation in the keys with our sweet dog , Shelby. We are protective dog parents and don’t like leaving her with people we don't know but we had a couple of day trips (golf and shopping) planned that would not be fun for Shelby so we asked our camp office if they knew of a reliable dog sitter in the area and they recommended we use Rover. We put in our information and low and behold we found a great sitter, Julie, and she was close by. Score! 👍🏼😀 She had a great rating, a daycare in her home and a couple of dogs of her own so we thought we would loosen the leash a little and give her a call. The first day Shelby was not to sure she wanted to stay without us but by the end of the day when we picked her up she was a happy dog and the second day she ran right up to Julie. We could tell she had a great day and she was exhausted (that was great for everyone.) We would highly recommend Julie for your dogs care. She sent us videos each day of Shelby’s activities and also kept tract of Shelby’s daily routine so we could easily keep her on track. About: I love dogs! I'll love on them, take them hiking, run with them, etc. I have been caring for dogs, mine and others, for over 15 years, from Jack Russels to Great Danes! This includes, long term and daily visits, helping train and giving medicines. I grew up with family pets and always had several of my own at one time. My own sweet dog is 15 years old and still going strong and I also have an adventurous little cat. Fun fact: They are both international travelers and have been to 6 other countries and traveled more than half of the United States and lived on a sailboat for over 5 years with me. “My boyfriend and I came to the Keys on vacation with our 8 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. We booked an all day adventure, and Donna & Gary were gracious enough to keep our boy for the day. We were nervous how Odin would be with strangers, but were pleased to hear our pup was a "little angel"! Donna & Gary were wonderful! They were happy to have our boy in their home and sent us picture updates throughout the day. They even took him for a walk, gave him treats and, most importantly, lots of lovins. Odin liked them so much he laid down on their porch and didn't want to come with us when we picked him up. If you're planning a trip to Key West and need a pup sitter, these people are amazing! We would use them again in a second!”

“Maryna was AMAZING! Tank is a very big dog and not everyone can handle a European Doberman, but Maryna did a wonderful job. Tank has separation anxiety and she handled it so well. She took him on lots of walks and sent me many pictures. It is always very difficult to find a petsitter that cares for your dog like you do, especially on a small island like Key West, but Maryna solved that problem.
