About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
