About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. About: I’ve had to help take care of dogs my entire life… Growing up, our family always had larger breeds of dogs which taken care of was part of my responsibilities in my adult life. I have had my own dogs… I currently do not have any dogs though. I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I have flexibility to come home during the day. and I am finished each day by 2:30 I live in an apartment under a house with a very large yard, but not fenced in… My landlord‘s upstairs do have a big Doberman, but he is super friendly. I can only accommodate pet friendly dogs at my home.

About: Hi, I’m Amy! I grew up right here in the Florida Keys, where I work as a local artist. I have always had a big soft spot for dogs. When I am not creating art, I bring that same energy, patience, and care to dog sitting. I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and overnight stays to keep your pup happy and active. One of my favorite dogs I have ever cared for is Tiki, a pool loving Jack Russell! Staying active and keeping dogs cool and well hydrated in the Keys heat is a huge priority for me. I work part time as an artist, which gives me a very flexible routine throughout the week. Because my schedule is open, I can easily fit in morning walks, midday drop in visits, and evening care. I strictly follow your instructions for feeding, play, and house rules. I always double check that doors and gates are secure, keep your space clean, and send frequent updates. About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. I primarily pet sit in the Lower Keys but am also available for Key West for dog walking. I have a large fenced yard which opens into a park for playtime. We also have a doggie door and large porch for sunning and watching the neighborhood. I take my dogs on 2-3 walks a day along a little traveled area near our home.

About: I’ve had to help take care of dogs my entire life… Growing up, our family always had larger breeds of dogs which taken care of was part of my responsibilities in my adult life. I have had my own dogs… I currently do not have any dogs though. I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I have flexibility to come home during the day. and I am finished each day by 2:30 I live in an apartment under a house with a very large yard, but not fenced in… My landlord‘s upstairs do have a big Doberman, but he is super friendly. I can only accommodate pet friendly dogs at my home.

I focus on creating walks that are both physically stimulating and mentally engaging, tailored to each dog’s energy level, temperament, and needs. I make sure each walk is a safe and positive experience. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for in every interaction. For me, dogs are more than pets—they’re companions, teachers, and a source of endless joy. Being able to support their well-being is not just my work, but my passion. My schedule is flexible and does change often. However, Sometimes I get called into work so if I am watching your dog, you have to be okay with me leaving my house and allow me to work my other job. Though this does not happen often. If it does I will let you know. As I do with my own dog, I come back after work, let him out and give him love and attention. That’s what your dog will get from me as well. If I am gone too long, my boyfriend would is just as dependable as I am will let the dogs out and feed them. He helps if I need help, but I rarely ever need help. I have 3 different size crates at my place (small, medium, large) so if I need to crate your dog before I leave my house, let me know. I will care for your pup as directed and will provide a peaceful environment for them as well as playtime, nap time, and keeping a consistent schedule. I will provide stimulation as needed based on the dogs energy levels.
