“When I got home, Cupid was sleeping so hard he didn't notice me. I can count on one hand how many times that happened! Thats good that he didn't cate, means he was relaxed while I was away. Super Grateful that both Sally and Izzy shared their beds and crates because my dogs are clueless to boundaries. Daily updates kept me at ease too! Thanks again!”

“Jeff is truly caring, thorough and knowledgeable. He was flexible with our dates changing a little and he offered for her to spend a few hours over there as a warm up before our trip started. I highly recommend him!”

“Melissa took excellent care of our Lenny. He enjoyed the freedom afforded by her fenced yard. She sent us pictures and have us a rundown of his day when we picked home up. We would both recommend and use her again!”

“I chose Victoria since she had over 200 wonderful reviews. With that being said, she is a pro at the dog sitting business. She has dog bowls and poop bags on hand, keeps a clean blanket on her couch, and has tile in her front room. Downtown location is unique and close to attractions. She was very sweet to our pup and he enjoyed helping her water her backyard garden.”

“Caesar and Rocco couldn't have been in better hands while I was gone. In fact, it was like I wasn't even gone at all! Neil took such great care of my boys while away, so much so that (although they were super happy to see me,) they were quite content to hang out for a little longer when I picked them up! Neil and his family are amazing and very loving and would trust no one else but them with my boys while I'm gone ensuring that they're happy, healthy and loved and cared for.”
“I don’t have the words that truly and accurately convey how great Betsy is. I joke that Reagan and I have separation anxiety from each other, but honestly, leaving him when I travel is just so hard on me. Well, Betsy has put my mind & anxiety at ease! She is incredibly sweet and patient with my rescue, and in turn he trusts her immensely and is beyond comfortable when he is left with her. Her home is his home. She sends about a billion photos, and I never found myself thinking “Gee I wish I knew what Reagan was doing right now.” because of her great communication, which is great because most of the time when I’m out of town, I'm thinking of Reagan. His comfort and happiness is the most important thing to her when he is there, and finding someone that loves him as much as I do is something that I can’t put a price on. If you haven’t booked with Betsy, you’re missing out.”

“Very very good! My dogs are hard to attach to new people but they both had no issues with both Brendan and Gaby. Both sitters were very patient, kind, and sweet to by dogs and my dogs seemed to love them. They walked, played, and got along well with their sweet doogie. Beautiful place not all the way into Key West, it was very easy to get to. Would definitely use Gaby and Brendon again. They are hands on with the dogs, both work from home so the dogs always have company. Super Sitter!!!!!!”

“Thank you Donna & Gary for taking wonderful care of Riley. Your photos and video of Riley made us feel so good during our separation. Look forward to booking future services. 5 star - all the best, ; )”

My schedule is flexible and does change often. However, Sometimes I get called into work so if I am watching your dog, you have to be okay with me leaving my house and allow me to work my other job. Though this does not happen often. If it does I will let you know. As I do with my own dog, I come back after work, let him out and give him love and attention. That’s what your dog will get from me as well. If I am gone too long, my boyfriend would is just as dependable as I am will let the dogs out and feed them. He helps if I need help, but I rarely ever need help. I have 3 different size crates at my place (small, medium, large) so if I need to crate your dog before I leave my house, let me know. I will care for your pup as directed and will provide a peaceful environment for them as well as playtime, nap time, and keeping a consistent schedule. I will provide stimulation as needed based on the dogs energy levels.
“Belinda is perfect for our anxious dog Boomer. She’s relaxed, calm and welcoming, and fit his needs with her constant attention. Belinda kept us informed, asked questions about his meds, and helped us problem solve to make sure he took them on schedule. Her patience and dedication to dogs is amazing! Her quiet location and fenced yard are great too! Definitely a 5 star stay!!”

“Maryna was absolutely amazing! She sent photos everyday and my little guy was so happy. I was gone a week which was hard leaving my little guy behind, but Maryna sent updates frequently. I will definitely use Maryna again. He absolutely loved her as did we.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have owned a Husky, Lab, and Jack Russell Terrier, so I understand how different each breed's personality and needs can be. I'm comfortable administering medications, reinforcing basic training commands, and working with anxious or nervous dogs to help them feel safe. What sets me apart is that I genuinely care about every dog I walk. I don't just provide a service – I build relationships and treat every pet like they're my own. I run my own business from home, so my schedule is flexible and pet care fits right into my day. I can offer morning walks, midday visits, or evening strolls depending on what your pup needs. I also live on base, so if you’re stationed there too, I’m able to get on base easily for walks, no extra coordination needed. Safety is my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed and stay alert to our surroundings, watching for other animals, traffic, and potential hazards. I respect your home by following your specific instructions – whether that's wiping paws before coming inside, securing doors and gates, or maintaining your dog's routine exactly as you've outlined. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I'm reliable, respectful of your space and belongings, and always communicate clearly about how the walk went. You can count on me to treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own.
About: I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely treat every pet like my own! I’m great with puppies; routine, training basics, and gentle structure. I’m equally comfortable caring for seniors who need extra calm and comfort. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, so you can trust your pet is safe, understood, and truly cared for!! This isn’t just a job to me; I love creating a happy, peaceful experience for every animal I meet! I am working part time, so I am flexible to fit the timing and needs of you and your pets! Weekdays are the best bet for me, weekends can be a little tricky! Whether your pet is in my home or I’m in yours, I focus on creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment! I follow your routines closely; feeding times, walks, potty breaks, cues, and any training you’re working on! Your pet will feel safe with me! In your home, I keep things tidy, respect your space, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles of course! When it comes to sitting in my own home, I have a golden puppy, under a year; also a cat, so sitting in my clients home would be my best option!
“Jessica and her family are absolutely fantastic! Our Golden was very happy with them. So much so that he was bummed when we left their driveway. I have no doubt we will rebook with her.”

About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. Please feel free to message me with any questions or if you’d like to set up a meet and greet. I look forward to meeting lots of new dogs friends. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I primarily pet sit in the Lower Keys but am also available for Key West for dog walking. I have a large fenced yard which opens into a park for playtime. We also have a doggie door and large porch for sunning and watching the neighborhood. I take my dogs on 2-3 walks a day along a little traveled area near our home.

“I can’t say enough good things about Stephanie. She took incredible care of my cat while I was away and made the whole experience completely stress-free. She was super reliable, kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was obvious my cat was comfortable and well cared for. You can tell she really loves animals and goes the extra mile. Everything was clean, my cat was happy, and I came home with total peace of mind. I would 100% book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 15. Both friends and family have relied on me to-walk, feed, bathe, administer medications and give extra love to their fur babies. Growing up as a child I have always had a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My current experience in pet care is from working at a veterinary clinic and boarding facility so i can proudly say I have extensive experience with dogs from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who fear human and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. I’ve also worked with animals on a strict medical schedule. While I am currently working full time I am able to care for your fur babies before work(8am) during lunch(anywhere from 11am-2pm) or after work (5:30pm). If needed times can be adjusted please let me know at least 72hrs in advance. When letting pets outside I have a routine I like to follow. The most important thing to me is the pets safety so before letting them into the yard for play and or potty time I do check the yard for any misplace objects, iguanas, chickens, anything that could be a potential hazard to the pet. After I’ve deemed the yard clear then we can proceed to playtime or potty time. When on walks I do like to keep a short leash depending on the area in which we are walking if no cars I will loosen the lead so pet can explore more but if cars present I do like to stop/heel if possible.

“Amy watched our two cats for six days, and she was fantastic. She sent daily photos and updates, which made us feel completely at ease knowing they were so well cared for. We’ve already booked her again—highly recommended.”

About: My very first best friend was my mom‘s Maine Coon mix, Jade. 🐾🖤 I can’t imagine growing up without her. When I was in fifth grade we got Penny and Cooper after Jade passed. Then I started volunteering at my local humane society (Shorewood, Illinois) in middle school. My family is from rural Iowa, and we were often taking in farm kitties to spay and neuter them, and find homes for them. Many of those kitties are now with friends and family and I’ve got to catsit for my “godchildren.” 😂 Penny had a hyperthyroid, so I am familiar with administering meds. I have also more recently trained in cat care the FKSPCA as a volunteer!
About: My goal is to provide the absolute best care possible for your pet. I am a retired law enforcement professional of 30 years including 10 years as a police canine handler and trainer. I believe my vast professional experience in handling and training law enforcement canines serves as a testament the level of responsibility and professionalism that I will bring to care of your pet and my commitment to always provide the care and treatment you desire for your family dog or cat. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet. Pet care is my primary focus and only vocation these days as I am retired from a professional career of more than 30 years, which also included 10 years of training and handling working dogs. I will treat your pet as if it were my own, and follow all of the instructions that you require for your pet. I will stay the full time agreed on in the contract, and focus all of my attention on your pet during my visit.

About: I’ve cared for cats with all kinds of personalities, from super playful and social to shy and independent. I understand that cats need patience, a calm environment, and attention on their terms, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.
“Stacey took very good care of our cat, Buddy. He is a bit on the skittish side, but he seemed to really like her. She is very kind and knew exactly how to interact with him. We would definitely ask Stacey to take care of Buddy again.”

“Carli was the perfect kitty sitter! I knew from the moment that I met her that she had the most positive attitude and vibe. She was responsive, communicative, and shared photos of and messages about our kitties that helped us feel comfortable that we left their care in her hands. We hope that Carli is able to care for our kitties on future occasions. 💕😺😺”

About: I have grown up caring for and living with cats my whole life, along with years of experience housesitting and babysitting. I’m well-equipped to handle daily care like feeding, litter box maintenance, and grooming. Being a cat owner has helped me understand the stress of leaving a pet with an unfamiliar person, so I strive to be patient, detail-oriented, and responsible, and I always make sure to follow instructions carefully so your pet feels safe and cared for. Excited to meet your furry friend!
About: I’ve been a dog mom since my teens, and dogs have always been a big part of my life. I recently lost my longtime dog, which was really hard, but I now have a new pup who I love and care for every day ❤️ Through both experiences, I’ve learned how to be patient, attentive, and understanding of different dogs and their needs at every stage. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like they’re my own with love, care, and attention. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, and playtime, and I always make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pup is in good hands. I work Monday–Friday from 8 am–4 pm, but I’m available to walk and spend time with dogs after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I make sure they get plenty of walks, play, cuddles, love, attention, and care every single day. I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I keep a clean and secure space, supervise all playtime, and follow their routine for walks, feeding, and rest. I also respect your home and follow all instructions carefully, so you can feel confident and relaxed while your dog is with me

“Annie has been great while I figure out this app and arrangement for my furbaby! She was quick to respond, initiated a meet and greet right away, and her first visit was a success! Will be hiring Annie for regularly scheduled play dates with my Chloe when work keeps us away too long”

“Nicole did a Great job of taking care of our 2 Dachshunds and older Lab. We took a trip to the Dry Tortugas and didn’t want to leave them in our 5th wheel for 14 hrs without a potty break. Nicole made two visits to walk and let the baby’s use the park for a stretch break. One of the girls wet the blanket in her kennel and Nicole noticed it and put it in a plastic bag outside our door. We enjoyed our trip knowing they would be safe and looked after! Thank You Nicole for taking care of our baby’s!”

“Great job and very accommodating. We had a scheduling mix up but she worked with us and everything went well. Maggie was very comfortable, we could tell by the pictures.”

“We were in town on a last minute vacay with our sweet golden retriever and desired to take in some of the nightlife. I looked to Rover to help me find a reputable dog loving sitter!! Victoria and a few other people came up and we chose Victoria from her wonderful reviews!! Luckily she was available! Everything went super smoothly and we simply adored her!!”

“Amy was absolutely amazing ! Great first time leaving my puppy anywhere and she made him and us feel very welcomed ! They had so much fun together and she updated me with lots of pictures and videos ! Definitely recommend her”

“My doggie fell in love instantly with Betsy. She is the sweetest person and animals really take to her. I trust her with my dog and my house key. She deserves the highest recommendation possible.”

“I left my 1 year old dog with a Donna & Gary 6 days 7:30am-5:30pm while I was at work. They were very pleasant and reliable. Sent me a picture every day. Nice fenced in yard that was accessible by doggy door. Definitely will use them in the future!”

“Belinda was an absolute pleasure to meet! Our puppy was so happy and well taken care of. We received updates as necessary, she was very easy to coordinate pick up and drop off with and genuinely cares about the well-being of dogs! She was very kind and gave our pup her undivided attention.”

“Maryna was AMAZING! Tank is a very big dog and not everyone can handle a European Doberman, but Maryna did a wonderful job. Tank has separation anxiety and she handled it so well. She took him on lots of walks and sent me many pictures. It is always very difficult to find a petsitter that cares for your dog like you do, especially on a small island like Key West, but Maryna solved that problem. Tank will definitely be going back to Maryna for babysitting! Stop scrolling and book Maryna if you will be in Key West!”

“Lisette truly saved our vacation! We found ourselves in a tough spot when our sweet elderly dog became too anxious to stay alone in our rental. With almost no notice, Lisette stepped in with warmth and calm reassurance, welcoming our pup like family. She was patient, gentle, and incredibly attentive — sending us updates that let us relax and enjoy our trip knowing our girl was safe and loved. It’s rare to meet someone so caring and trustworthy at the last minute, but Lisette exceeded every expectation. We’re beyond grateful for her kindness and the peace of mind she gave us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely loves and understands dogs!”

“Lindsay was fabulous. Met us outside her house making drop off a breeze and sent several pictures and a video throughout their day with her. Thank you for helping us make our day on the water spectacular.”

“This was our second time using Stephanie as a dog sitter. She was accountable, trustworthy, and responsible. She sends the BEST pictures of our pets and they obviously love their time with her on walks. She is a pro at expressing our paralyzed dog’s bladder and fearlessly pushes him around town in his stroller. She is the best! I think my dogs love her more than me at this point.”

“Courtney was absolutely phenomenal and I gladly recommend her to anyone visiting or living in Key West! She is genuinely kind and upbeat and took great care of my 3 year old Doberman "Bolt" on hour long walks every day. He came back smiling and excited after every walk and the updates and photos were great. Thank you Courtney! We will be in touch if we are lucky enough to return next January!”

“Betsy arrived right on time, she sent several texts and pictures of Brin during his walk and their hour together. I will certainly be using Betsy in the future and would highly recommend her service.”

About: To say that I like dogs is an understatement. I’ve owned dogs my entire life, that’s a lot of years and a lot of dogs! Additionally, I was trained as a Level 2 Volunteer in a no-kill shelter in Chicago, providing care in both the adoption center and medical center. I also owned and operated a dog daycare and boarding facility in Michigan, prior to relocating to Key West. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and dispositions. Rest assured, I’m here to help! Please note: I can accommodate boarding females at my home, but not adult male dogs. I do have a fairly a flexible schedule and would love to fill my spare time by continuing my passion of taking care of dogs. I follow your instructions and follow the dog’s lead. I won’t put a dog in a situation they’re not comfortable with, taking whatever time is necessary to build a trusting relationship with your pup.

About: I grew up with a Jack Russell Terrier who lived to be 17 years old, and I currently have a 6-year-old Staffy-Dachshund mix that I rescued when he was under a year old who is my world. Caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. I regularly help my neighbors with their fur babies on both weekdays and weekends, and I treat every dog as if they were my own—with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and belly rubs! I love dogs more than people. 😊 I currently work part-time in healthcare, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pets. I'm available on weekends, several weekdays, and all evenings, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I'm happy to work around your pet's routine to ensure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I provide care in and near your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. Whether your pet enjoys being active or prefers relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every pet like they're my own and will always keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind!

About: It would be my pleasure to care for your pet. I am new to Key West, hence my newer profile. I have cared for pets and animals my whole life- in my own home, for neighbors, at rescues and shelters, and for family- for both extended periods of time and drop-ins. I grew up with cats, hamsters, rats, a turtle, my bunny, and my brother even had a sugar glider! My dad was allergic to dogs, but when I moved out on my own, I got my first dog Mars, an incredible husky/boxer/pit mix. He is no longer with us, but now my partner and I have a little Chihuahua mix named Chimi. Throughout the years and the various cities I’ve lived in, I have volunteered at shelters and fostered dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have an extremely flexible schedule, so I am excited to offer my services, especially on weekdays and weeknight or in a pinch! Let me know how I can help your family and your precious pets! I am currently working remotely and on my own schedule, so I have incredibly flexible availability. I would love to drop-in for some quick TLC, a walk or run, playtime, or discuss a longer stay! Unfortunately, we are renting so I cannot host pets in my own home at this time. However, I am fully prepared to be onboarded into your pets’ routine and make sure they are cared for consistently and lovingly in the home that they know and they feel safe in. 🖤🐾

About: I have multiple years of experience with both housesitting and babysitting, which has helped me know how important it is to stick to feeding schedules, keep spaces tidy, and provide consistent care and companionship. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and responsible, and I always make sure to follow instructions carefully so your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Excited to meet your pup! I am available after 5pm to watch your pets while you go party! I’ll come to you at your house, resort, rental, etc. and make sure your pet is comfortable, entertained, fed, watered, and gets adequate potty breaks. I am currently completing an internship as well as working part-time, so daytime check-ins are possible but would be quick drop-ins. Overnight availability is 5pm-9am. I provide attentive in-home pet care, maintaining routines, feeding schedules, exercise, and medications as needed! Your pet will be comfortable and safe in a familiar environment while you’re away. Important Notes: -I do not transport your pet in my personal vehicle -I do not board your pet in my home -I do not take your pet off-leash when outdoors at any point, nor purposefully bring them into environments with potentially unfamiliar dogs (like dog parks) These terms are for both my own safety and the safety of your pet!

About: I used to take care of pets when their mommy and daddy went on vacation when I was 14 and I had to taken care of one rabbit, 4 cats and 2 dogs at the same time. It was my dream job. Currenty I don’t work, so I have a little too much free time. Every day except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I can take care of your pet and of course on weekends as well. :) I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, following their pets’ routines and needs carefully. I offer feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, updates, and a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel loved and secure.
“Stacey was extremely professional, responsive, and caring with our two dogs. One of our dogs is very timid and the other is overly friendly! She knew exactly how to manage both our dogs personalities on their walks. We highly recommend Stacey!”

About: I have several family members who have trusted me in the past to take care of their pets. Pets are family, and to some people they are children. In my care they will be treated as such. I am currently stationed on Naval Air Station North Island, and cannot have a pet of my own but would love to take care of yours. I am fully available in the afternoons. I work full time in the Navy but usually get off around 11-12. I can be pretty flexible for your needs as long as I am off of work! Communication is key. Communicate what your pet needs and I will provide just that. I prefer clients home, because your fur baby will feel more comfortable in the comfort of their home. Anxiety is real, especially for animals.

About: We have been living in Mexico for the past few years so that's why you don't see any recent reviews. We are returning to our Key West home in May 2026. Our 2026 Key West availability is mid-May through October. We have a fenced yard and I work at home so around most of the time. Our 3 labs have all passed over the rainbow bridge so this is how we get our doggie love these days. I volunteer with the Key West animal shelter and have also volunteered while in Mexico (those are dogs with a rough life). Both Gary and I are experienced dog owners, and our midtown Key West location is convenient. We are friendly but firm with the dogs and welcome your well-behaved, adorable pooch. We are flexible with drop-off and pick-up hours within reason. We are also super cautious with security and do not leave dogs outside in the yard while we are gone. Get in touch, we would love to hear from you. We have a fenced yard so there's some outside play space. I do not leave dogs unattended outside just to be on the safe side. We are both retired, so we have flexible schedules for playtime, walks, etc. Morning and evening exercise with the dog will be standard, unless you tell us otherwise. Our yard is fenced and we are diligent about never leaving dogs in the yard if we are gone from the house. If we're not there, they are in the house.

“Thank you Donna & Gary for taking wonderful care of Riley. Your photos and video of Riley made us feel so good during our separation. Look forward to booking future services. 5 star - all the best, ; )”

About: From as early as I can remember, dogs have been at the heart of my life. I believe every moment with them matters. Hi, I’m Shay. I’ve lived in key west 10 years and have lots of pet experience! Find me on Instagram - shewolfcanineservices Fun fact about me: I am currently studying dog behavior and psychology and moving towards becoming a certified dog trainer! I focus on creating walks that are both physically stimulating and mentally engaging, tailored to each dog’s energy level, temperament, and needs. I make sure each walk is a safe and positive experience. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for in every interaction. For me, dogs are more than pets—they’re companions, teachers, and a source of endless joy. Being able to support their well-being is not just my work, but my passion.
