“Greg took such good care of our two fur babies and we are so grateful. He went above and beyond our expectations and spent time giving the two kitties with very different personalities their own unique attention. He sent photo updates and is a great communicator. He even checked in to make sure we got back safe and the kitties weren’t alone. Greg is exactly what we never knew we were missing and relieved any worries about going on vacation and leaving the kitties behind. Thank you for everything!”

“I’m so happy I found BReN to watch my kitty and home for a few days while we were out of town. I received daily pictures of a happy kitty and came home to a house that looked just as clean or cleaner than I had left it. I feel so confortable with BReN that I’m about to book her for my next trip.”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about Beverly! This was my first time using Rover. A friend suggested Rover to me the night before my trip, and Beverly was so helpful and accommodating of my last minute request. She is truly a professional through and through. I could tell immediately from our limited interaction that I would feel completely at ease with her in my home and caring for my beloved kitty. I accidentally left the wrong key, and she could not get into the house. She was so patient, kind and willing to let me guide her to find a way in. It was not an easy feat and took some climbing and maneuvering and some sacrifice. The crisis was averted. Beverly really went the extra mile for my cat and saved my vacation because I would have had to fly home. I will be forever grateful to Beverly and I will definitely request her again. Choose Beverly to be your pet sitter. You will be so happy you did - she’s a dream!”

“Tom went above and beyond with my ill-tempered, picky cat over a holiday week. He communicated consistently and responded quickly, and best of all somehow transformed my naughty Grinch into a jolly Santa Claws during his visits. Thank you Tom for your empathy and attention to detail!”

“Liz is the best, and our kitty is always in good hands! She always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure our kitty and home are in good hands! Can't recommend her enough.”

About: Hi, I'm Simone. Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a photographer currently working on a project and living in Joshua Tree. I adore animals more than anything else. Lucky for me, animals seem to love me back, and I connect easily with most cats and dogs that I meet. My two kitties Bert and Ernesto were the loves of my life and I had 13 loving, goofy years with them. I miss them so much. I'm not ready to have any animals of my own, which is why I would be delighted to spend time with and care for your animal/s. In the last year of his life, one of my cats was sick and he required extensive nursing at home. I gave him daily meds including liquids and pills, and I administered fluids via subcutaneous injections for several months. I believe in maintaining a clean environment for animals so that they feel the highest level of comfort possible in their world. I know that cats need exercise, and I prioritize play if they are interested in engaging. I know how stressful it is to travel and leave animals at home. I am highly reliable and trustworthy, and your furry friends are my number one priority. I also love dogs and have walked many dogs for family and friends, however never having one as a pet, I don't prioritize dog care in my profile. I work independently as a photographer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to structure my day around caring for animals. Whether it’s a drop-in or staying overnight, I’m able to give your cat my full attention. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I aim to maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment that keeps your cat comfortable and secure. I’m careful with doors, windows, and potential escape routes, and I always check for hiding spots to make sure everyone is accounted for. I respect your home as if it were my own, follow your care instructions closely, and make sure your cat’s routine stays consistent. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, or notes if that helps you feel more at ease while you’re away.

“Shawna is a fantastic sitter. She took excellent care of my cat Pies. Pies has IBS and Shawna administered her medicine everyday, as well as all the usual things (food, water, litter etc.). She also gave me detailed updates on how she was doing daily, which I really appreciated! I've had other sitters in the past, but by far Shawna is the best. I'll definitely be hiring her again to watch Pies if I'm out of town. Thanks again Shawna for going above and beyond =)”

About: Hi, I’m Marnie, a compassionate, thoughtful, and reliable caregiver with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. From growing up with dogs and cats, volunteering with foster organizations to raising my own dog from six months old, animals have always been a central part of my life. As a proud dog mom to a senior pup, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pet with the same love and attention you would. I’m experienced in administering medication, handling special needs or senior animals, and providing plenty of care and companionship. Whether it’s a daily walk or a quick check-in, I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention and affection they need to feel safe and cared for. I’m also very active and love spending time outdoors, so your dog will always have a great time on our walks. As a professional writer and photographer, I’ll provide frequent updates and frame worthy photos of your pet, so you’ll always know they’re in good hands. I’ve provided pet care in both Los Angeles and Connecticut, and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! 🐾 I’m a professional writer who works remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I can be available to care for your pet on weekends, evenings, and weekends! I can crate your dog or follow any other instructions you have to ensure that they are safe on our walks and in the home.

About: I have extensive experience taking care of pets whether they be my own or thru pet sitting. Most of my pet sitting experience is thru trusted house sitters where I have the bulk of my reviews. Please message me for more details! 🥰 I’m able to go on long walks, transport in my car, play and everything else your pet may need. I love taking pictures and can update daily if requested. I work remotely from home so I’m around my pets all day! This also gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits and walks at any part of the day. I adhere to all guidelines in the care guide provided by owners or just their verbal or written directions on how to care for their pet. My own pets over the years I would take on regular walks daily, feed them daily and bathe them twice monthly. I understand that some animals need to build trust with strange humans and I’m extremely patient and I don’t get alarmed easily as I’ve had so much experience with animals especially reactive ones.

About: I've been taking care of animals for my entire life. Outside of having my own fur babies (two cats, and one dog), I have frequently cat/dog sat for friends, family, and neighbors! I have a deep love, and understanding for animals. I am ready to get to know your pets, and learn about their own unique characteristics and needs. I am able to provide feeding, grooming, exercise, quality time and any medical accommodations they may need. I'm currently taking some time off from my regular employment, so I have an abundance of free time to care for and spend quality time with your pets! I will utilize any instructions given, as well as my own intuition when it comes to the safety and well being of your pet. Whether we are at your home or playing at a park, your pet will be in very safe hands. I am also prepared to have active communication with you in regards to your pets, and how they are doing.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Marnie has been an excellent dog sitter and walker for my senior pup, Violet. I travel frequently, and it’s such a relief knowing that Violet is always in great hands. She gets along wonderfully with Marnie’s senior dog, Dempsy, which is such a bonus! Marnie is incredibly reliable and always comes through, even when I’m in a crunch with meetings. It’s clear how much she loves and cares for animals, and Violet absolutely adores her. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and walker. Thank you, Marnie, for all that you do”

Alexis N.
“Alexis would be a great dog walker or sitter as she loves dogs and all animals. She comforts both of our dogs whenever she seems them. She is very smart and kind.”

Miranda M.
“Miranda is our #1 go-to house/cat sitter! Her love for animals is endless. We know they’re in good hands when we’re gone, so naturally there’s a lot less anxiety for me. Miranda has also gone out of her way to take in animals of her own that didn’t have owners to care for them. Her heart is pure and you won’t be disappointed! You can leave home knowing your fur babies will be well cared for!”

Joshua Tree cat parents share their Rover experiences
BReN saved me when I had to leave home last minute due to a family emergency and I needed someone to check on my baby girl Xochitl while I was away. I received several photos of kitty being very social and affectionate upon BReN’s arrival. She also made sure to leave extra food and water since the power had gone out in other parts of town due to high winds. I’m so grateful to have someone who cares so much about animals who can care for Xochitl.
