About: In addition to my own dogs, I have also owned cats of my own in the past, giving me years of firsthand experience with feline care. This personal background fits perfectly with the routine care I provide for my sister’s animals whenever she goes on vacation four times a year. I take complete charge of her four dogs—three Miniature Pomeranians and a Goldendoodle—and have even cared for their puppies in my home on two separate occasions while she was out of town. My responsibilities for her also include looking after her cats, ensuring they are properly fed, and keeping their litter boxes clean. This extensive, hands-on experience with multi-pet households, puppies, and feline care has made me highly adept at maintaining safety, routines, and a nurturing environment for animals of all ages and types. I'm pretty open as I'm a special education teacher and off in the summer. I have free time and I'm flexible. I would love to make extra money doing what I love. I care for them as I would my own children. We are all in the same area as a family. Pets are free to roam the house and I have a fenced in yard.
About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work twice a week so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with no pets and only two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.

This was our first time leaving Piper (our 70 lb. Golden retriever) with Alicia. The choice was easy. She had experience and there was a fenced yard. Piper is difficult to walk. Ali asked all the right questions during our meet and greet. Ali was an excellent care giver! She sent daily pictures which were greatly appreciated! Piper looked happy and right at home. It appears her children enjoyed having a dog around! She said Piper would be welcomed back anytime. We will definitely book with her again.
