About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work twice a week so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. I have also trained and lived with Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitties, Havanese and Shih Tzus, so I'm familiar with a wide range of breeds, and I've cared for dogs in all stages of life -- from puppies to seniors. Whether your pup is a cuddle-loving couch potato or a ride-or-die adventure pal, they'll fit in great here! I currently work from home most days, and homeschool my two kids (ages 10 and 12). I have a very flexible schedule and am always up to go for a hike or play fetch between various family activities, or to snuggle up on the couch with a good book and a pup to cuddle. Your pet will be surrounded by a friendly family environment, and included in the daily routine I follow with my own dogs! I have a fenced in yard and am located near many lovely nature trails as well as a fully walk-able neighborhood including access to the McHenry Riverwalk only a block away! About: I've been around dogs since I've had a working memory. From friend's, family's, neighbor's to my own I've watched and cared for many different dogs of many different sizes and needs. Dogs are a joy and a privilege to care for and deserve the best. I've worked with pups to pops and enjoy both :) I currently work part time in the mornings. Whether your pet/s need to be fed/let out, walked or just needs company I know I'll find time to give them the attention and care they deserve. About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :) I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. I plan to be home full time most days but things do come up. If I need to be away I will always prioritize coming back to care for the pets. I'm very comfortable with all dogs no matter the size or breed. I have handled a variety of dogs from timid to major explorers. Any instructions given to me I will happily follow. About: Hi, I have had and taken care of dogs all of my life. I currently have a Rottweiler and a beagle mix and they are best friends! I also have experience dog sitting for multiple family members who have all different types of breeds and sizes of dogs. I am currently in college so I am away from home, and I miss my pets so much. About: Love to have a furry companion on my walks and give them some time outside, I’ve had dogs my whole life big and small and always enjoy walking them. Me and my husband are working part time, and we love dogs, so we have plenty of free days to spend and take nice walks with your pup! About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work twice a week so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.

Her own two 'boys' are very good natured golden retrievers who wanted to play. Maureen's house is well situated for dog care, with plenty of room, yet able to isolate areas' with gates if helpful. I think in our case, what made our experience especially positive was receiving a daily phone text/picture from Maureen showing our westies during their day and a little note about their day.
