“Kimberly was amazing with Kemet. She was incredibly understanding and flexible when my flight was canceled and I needed to extend his stay, which took a lot of stress off my plate. Kemet can take a couple of days to settle in new environments, and she handled that with patience and care. I could tell he was in good hands. Communication was solid throughout, and I felt confident leaving him with her. I would absolutely book with Kimberly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and accommodating.”

“Amy helped us out at the last minute when we had a family emergency, and was incredibly flexible when we needed it. It gave us much peace of mind to know the dogs were being taken care of so well during a crisis!”

About: I'm a passionate pet lover with over 8 years of experience caring for a variety of furry (and feathered) friends. My journey began in my neighborhood, and quickly into a true love for pet sitting. I have two ADORABLE dogs, Oreo and Trixie, who are the heart of my home. Over the years, I've had the joy of looking after all kinds of pets from playful cats and curious rabbits even some quirky chickens! Whether it's walking, house sitting or even tending to your plants, I bring a lot of love and dedication to every task. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they get the best care and attention. I cant wait to meet your beloved pets and provide them with the love and care they deserve! I have a flexible work schedule and can come mid day mornings and all evening! I also love being outside so walks are so fun! I believe in leaving places better than I found it so I’ll totally pitch it with light house work. But I love pets and know each pet has its own personality and needs and having two dogs myself with very different personality I love to make sure each pet gets the love exercise and special attention they need!
“Crystal was hands down the best babysitter I could have found. She took care of my 7 month old pitbull and did an amazing job. She communicated with me and gave me updates with pictures and videos throughout my time being gone. Crystal and her husband did such an amazing job at helping Kahlani feel at home. My Kahlani girl was definitely spoiled this weekend, she even got a pup cup at the end of it all. If anything I think she was a little sad to come home after her doggy spa/get away. Would highly recommend!!”

“Donna and her son are excellent dog sitters. She treated my dog Wiggles as if he was her own. She sent pictures and kept me up to date. He even slept in a human bed at night. I would 100 percent have Wiggles stay again. She will always be my first choice in who I choose to dog sit .”

“Lindsey took excellent care of my 2 dogs. She was great about communicating how they were doing and sending pictures. My dogs felt right at home right when they arrived at her house. I was worried because they hadn’t stayed with a Rover before but all went smoothly and my dogs were fine. I would definitely use Lindsey again.”

“Our puppy was recently adopted, so this was our first time leaving her while we went on vacation. Toneke took great care of our baby Nina. She sent us daily updates, along with videos/photos. We instantly felt comfortable with Toneke upon our first meet and greet. Toneke’s doggy, Chance, was also so sweet and Nina loved having a playmate. We will definitely be using Toneke’s services again.”

“My dachshund, Xena, stayed with Laura while my family and I went to Colorado for eight days. I was nervous about leaving her, because I had never been away from her for so long. Laura was good to frequently text photos and let me know how Xena was getting along. Xena always looked relaxed and like she was having fun. When we came to pick her up, Xena seemed excited and happy to see us but not overly so. I think Laura and her little pug, Kevin, had become like a second family to Xena! I definitely plan on using Laura again and would highly recommend her home for boarding your dog!”

“Roxy loved her time with Mary! We received great communicstion (and pics!) And will absolutely be using her again. You know from the minute you meet her that she’s a dog person and our dog was comfortable with her right away. A great first Rover experience for us. Thanks Mary!”

“Eileen is absolutely amazing! My dog is very fearful and anxious of people but Eileen makes her feel so comfortable and she has settles in immediately and doesn’t want to leave!”

“If I could give him 20 stars I would. He’s very attentive gives you constant updates on your fur baby. He’s respectful, caring and VERY trustworthy my puppy and I will definitely use his services again in the near future thank you so much for taking care of my baby”

“Harley is the best! He always responds quickly and my dog loves going to his house. He sends pics and updates me periodically which gives me so much comfort when leaving my pup is his care. 10/10!!”

“Kameryn takes wonderful care of our dog Gunner! She is conscientious and caring, always providing exactly what is needed for Gunner to have an excellent experience at her home. We are so thankful for Kameryn's help in caring for our dog and so appreciate her.”

“Lynsi is the best! Just picked the pups up from a 10 day stay and she was so great. I have English bulldogs and they're sweet, but some work! She put a cherry eye back in and gave antibiotics. She kept in touch, sent pics, and all evidence showed that my boys would have been happy to chill with her forever. Thanks again, Lynsi!”

“Had to find a sitter on short notice, Amanda replied right away and was able to watch my dogs. She sent me pics and updates throughout their stay which was great. My dogs enjoyed their stay with Amanda and her family and I will definitely book her again!”
About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes and have taken care of them from puppy years to quite senior. My dog before my current one was 18 years old. I work full time but I’m able to check on my pets midday. I’m often home outside of work just hanging out with my dog Seamus. I have a fenced yard. I don’t crate my dog but can do so for yours if needed and can attend to special feedings for pups

About: I want your pup or kitty to feel safe and comfortable when with me! We’ll have fun play some catch or go for a walk. They’ll be well taken care of. I work full time Monday through Friday. Evenings available and weekends free. I am new to rover but ready to get started and take great care of the animals. I’ll be making sure they’re fed, comfortable and having fun. Ensuring they have all they need and communicating with their owner and learning the personalities.

“Kristin and her family could nott have been nicer! We were very anxious about leaving our pets but we were immediately put at ease when we met Kristin and her family. They were very kind and loving to our dogs. In the past our dogs have become ill when we've left them but in Kristin's care they were healthy and happy!”

“Sheila is a great dog-sitter! She was very responsive and super caring with Benny our mini-bernadoodle. You can tell she loves dogs and makes them feel like part of the family. Highly recommended!”

Evelyn/Alanis did an INCREDIBLE job taking care of my fur baby, Aurora! I was understandably nervous having never left my 13 year old dog with someone we don’t know before, but they calmed all my fears and were very communicative, always willing to send text updates and answer my questions. I could tell with each photo I received that my dog was being cared for well and was very happy with all the special attention she was given! I highly, highly recommend this wonderful family to anyone else looking for pet care for their fur babies—I know we will definitely be rebooking them for our future needs!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Mick and Stevie! She took amazing care of our puppies over the 8 days we were away and made the whole experience completely stress-free. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos; it meant so much to see how happy and well cared for they were while we were gone. It’s clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs, and our pups were in such good hands. We came home to two happy, relaxed puppies, which says everything. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and kind to care for their pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
