“Hannah was wonderful with our two cats. Our shy one really likes Hanna. Hannah is very responsible, punctual and definitely an animal lover. We will certainly book her as a sitter again.”

“Ryan was great petsitting for us! We have 2 rambunctious big dogs and 2 smaller dogs, and he was able to handle them with ease! Will definitely be using again when we go out of town! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go Ryan!! He’s great!”

“Elizabeth is very attentive, communicative, and follows directions for our dog. She noticed the little things to make us owners feel comfortable leaving her with our dog. Example: Elizabeth noticed he wasn’t eating much, told us about her observation, and spent her drop ins hand feeding, changing food and water, and making our scared pup feel more comfortable with us away.”

“Shara is a genuine pet and people person! She took great care of my poodles and I felt comfortable leaving them in her hands after just meeting her once. She is kind, loving, and dependable. I will definitely have her back in the future!”

“Elizabeth is a very kind and flexible person and loves what she does! It's never easy leaving my babies with a stranger I've spoken to once or twice but Elizabeth made me very comforted and reassured that my babies would be in the very best hands. My kitties were happy and healthy when I came home. (And she's really good at taking pictures)”

“Bradley was phenomenal! As a fellow Rover myself, he gave us 5-star service and made sure my furchildren were loved and taken care of during their drop-in visit. He sent pictures and kept me updated the whole time and my doggos looked so happy to see him. We’re so grateful for Bradley and would recommend him to anyone! 12/10, book Bradley for all your pet needs ?”

“I have used Erin a couple of times now and she has been great! Very responsive, always on time, and willing to do whatever is needed for my 2 big doggos. I definitely recommend her, and will also continue to use her moving forward!”

“Nina has watched my cat Miso a few times now. I have always had a great experience with Nina — she’s super communicative and sends great pictures and updates from her visits. It’s hard to leave pets at home while traveling, but makes it easier when you know they are in great hands”

About: Having worked at a boarding facility/ doggy daycare, I have a lot of experience working with dogs of all sizes, shapes, and personality types. I also love cats as well as dogs, and have two tabbies named Momo and Simon. I have always been the go to person for my friends and family when it comes to pet sitting, and now I use those skills to take care of your furry loved ones. I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and I am pet CPR and first aid certified. My schedule is open seven days a week for pet sitting and dog walking. This is my full time job, so your pet will get my undivided attention! I try to stick to the pets usual routine as much as possible, as well as adhering to any and all instructions given by the owner. My number one concern is the safety and well being of the animals.
“I have been using Omni regularly for daily check ins on my 6 month old puppy. She does an amazing job with him! She is incredibly responsive to messages, and has been very reliable. It is such a relief to have someone we can trust to check on our little guy.”

“Eric exceeded our expectations giving great care for our fur family while we were away. Our pets were all smiles in the update pics, which gave us comfort knowing they were well watched after. Definitely will book with him again for future needs!”

About: I've had dogs, cats, turtles and many other animals my family & I rescued since I was 4. We were always the type to pick up strays, and get them healthy again, but we'd usually always keep them. We had a big back yard they all stayed in, and they never went far or left after we helped them get healthy again. Now I'm 25, and I've adopted my own two kitties. They're my babies and I love their silly personalities. I work full-time, so this is for sure a side gig for me, which is why I'd do it on the weekends. I might consider doing it during the week, but for now, I want to see how much or little I can handle. I only really have an apartment, but I have a big complex I can take doggies for walks in, and make sure they got all that energy out.
“Lydia was awesome! As many people feel, my fur bases are also family so finding someone I trust to care for them can be hard. Lydia went above and beyond for me by staying later to look for a cat that was playing hide and seek. She called me and we got her found! Lydia will be my first go to the next time I need care!”

About: I had animals in my life since I was a kid. There is nothing like the unconditional love my pets brought me. My dog Brownie is my love now. He was a rescue pet from an abusive family. I have had to be patient and caring to get him to trust me. I will do the same with your pet. I have spent numerous years taking care of rescue pets and helped them overcome their challenges and fears. I have been called on numerous times by family and friends to take care of their pets when trips or events arose. I enjoyed spending time with each of them. Pets hold a special place in a family’s heart, and try my very best to step in so that they do not feel left behind or alone. I currently work from 6:45 am to 3:00 pm. I am free after 4pm to feed, play and spend time with your pet(s). I will ensure that your requests are followed on your pets care with lots of loving added in. I use kind words when dealing with animals. I need them to feel safe and secure around me. I build their trust.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Jenks
It was my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure how scary it would be having a stranger come drop by at my place!! But Hannah was such a fast and friendly communicator so I actually trusted her a lot with my cat Fern. So many pics of my cat as requested and info about how she acted and felt and I'm really happy with Hannah's service overall x

Rachel did a fantastic job watching both of our dogs, two cats and taking care of our fish! She even took our 5 year old for a walk to burn off some of his crazy energy! She’s very friendly, awesome communicator and very responsive! We will definitely book her again for our future trips!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jenks. On Rover:
- 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
