So I naturally get very nervous when I leave my dogs anywhere. They have such knowledge of dogs and dog behaviors… they weren’t nervous, had a set up to combat the issue, and were just overall wonderful with both of my dogs. They also were very careful and loving to my old dog with hip dysplasia. The second day I went to drop the girls off, both of them went running right into the house and looked back like they were saying, see you later. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. About: I am a life-long cat & dog lover and pet employee - at this point they really are the bosses. While my own dog is small (currently a Shih Tzu mom) I do love all sizes and breeds of dogs. I’m getting older, though, and would need visits in advance to trust myself with a very large dog. I moved to Tulsa a year ago and love the weather for dog walking and hope to take advantage of it with mine and yours! I currently work remotely from home so I have plenty of time 2-3 times a day for walking and pet care. On the rare occasion that a pet can board with me, they can enjoy lounging at my feet while I work. Because I live in an apartment I prefer drop bys for clients, although one at a time can stay with me and my dog provided prior meetings go well. But when I do drop bys I like to visit between 6-8 am for feeding, water, meds, playing, etc. I also return 5-8 pm for the same, and can do visits over lunch if requested and nearby. At my own home there are plenty of dog beds, treats, toys, and a rambunctious boy Ollie to play with.

About: My mom owns a dog grooming salon in the Tulsa area so I have been working with animals for about six years now. With this I have learned many different skills from caring for senior dogs to looking after puppies. I am currently attending Oral Roberts University. For the most part my weekends are free and throughout the week I do have class around mid day so I would be the most available in the mornings and evenings. When dog sitting I do try and keep the environment and schedule as close to their normal as possible, I feel that this makes the kiddos more comfortable.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little kid, and they’ve always been under the most perfect love and care for so long. I also always make sure they are always happy and beyond. Usually I like to spend time with them and have fun with them a lot, such as playing with them. Usually I’m good with dogs, even when approaching them. It’s very important I understand more about the dog though so I can be friendly with it. I have also done a lot of dog-sitting for my friends who have dogs and cats, and usually their dogs and cats would love me and feel comfortable around me. I’ve also watched over my mom’s friend’s dogs a lot throughout my teenaged years, and they would always end up being just fine and happy! I’m currently a graduated student from high school who is going to Tulsa Community College for musical theatre and acting after the summer ends, while I also do work a part time job at a restaurant. But I’ll definitely be free a lot to spend time with a dog and play with them and watch them, or even walk them! I always enjoy hanging around dogs and even getting the chance to spend time with one and make one happy. Never will it ever become a problem for me to watch over one at any days of the week. And if it does that will be a rare occasion, but it always important I’m given a week or 2 week notice! (Preferably 2 week notice) then I will definitely be more free. I take good care of my 4 cats in my home, by spending time with them, feeding them, playing with them, giving them love and affection, as well. I’ve also taken good care of my 2 dogs throughout most of my life before they passed away recently. I’d always play with them, make sure they stayed well fed, and I always spent a lot of time with them, making sure they’re fine. I would also dog-sit my friends’s dogs and my mom’s friend’s 2 dogs a lot as a teenager growing up, which I still sometimes do to this day. Even when not dog-sitting, at my friends’s house I’d always come off as friendly and nurturing to their cats and/or dogs a lot, and it would always work usually. But as long as the owners of the other cats or dogs tell me how they’re like and how they take to new people approaching them, I’ll be just fine and be fully capable of approaching them well.

She walked and played with him daily, allowed him to stay close to her for comfort, and gave him plenty of time in her fenced yard to explore and stay mentally engaged. Her communication was excellent, every appointment was punctual and efficient, and when we returned, it was obvious that our dog had been safe, loved, and extremely well cared for. As a former executive responsible for improving business operations, I tend to notice opportunities for improvement. In Lindsey’s case, I honestly cannot identify a single one. She is trustworthy, conscientious, loving, and exceptionally attentive to detail. I do not give high ratings casually, but I recommend Lindsey without reservation.”
