“I have been using Omni regularly for daily check ins on my 6 month old puppy. She does an amazing job with him! She is incredibly responsive to messages, and has been very reliable. It is such a relief to have someone we can trust to check on our little guy.”

“I have used Erin a couple of times now and she has been great! Very responsive, always on time, and willing to do whatever is needed for my 2 big doggos. I definitely recommend her, and will also continue to use her moving forward!”

“It was my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure how scary it would be having a stranger come drop by at my place!! But Hannah was such a fast and friendly communicator so I actually trusted her a lot with my cat Fern. So many pics of my cat as requested and info about how she acted and felt and I'm really happy with Hannah's service overall x”

About: Having worked at a boarding facility/ doggy daycare, I have a lot of experience working with dogs of all sizes, shapes, and personality types. I also love cats as well as dogs, and have two tabbies named Momo and Simon. I have always been the go to person for my friends and family when it comes to pet sitting, and now I use those skills to take care of your furry loved ones. I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and I am pet CPR and first aid certified. My schedule is open seven days a week for pet sitting and dog walking. This is my full time job, so your pet will get my undivided attention! I try to stick to the pets usual routine as much as possible, as well as adhering to any and all instructions given by the owner. My number one concern is the safety and well being of the animals.
“Shara is a genuine pet and people person! She took great care of my poodles and I felt comfortable leaving them in her hands after just meeting her once. She is kind, loving, and dependable. I will definitely have her back in the future!”

“Jessica did a great job with my 2 Great Danes! My male doesn't usually like strangers in the house, but he did great with her and she had no problems. She sent me pictures and kept me updated on how they were doing. I liked that very much, because I miss them when I am away. If she can handle my two giants, she can handle any dog! I will be booking her again soon.”
“Eric when above and beyond helping us while we were on vacation we had an unothodix situation where a dog broke into our fenced yard and entered through our dog door Eric did everything in his ability to help us during this scary and upsetting situation allowing us to enjoy our time with faimly rather than be afraid of the intruder in our home he is truly an angel and any dog lucky enough to be watch for him is in for a real treat and the family can breath easy even if things go crazy this amazing man has there back”

“Brad was very caring for our 2 cats while we we’re out of town! He made sure Mr. Whiskers and Obi-Wan were fed and well taken care of! He is very communicative and he will take care of your pets. If you’re looking for someone on here to take care of your dog / cat, Brad is your guy 10/10! Thanks man!”

About: I am a mother of 2 boys ages 3 and 8 that love animals, we love house sitting friends pets, going to the park/ animal park, going on walks, playing, and giving your fur babies plenty of love while staying with us! My schedule is very flexible with walks, daycare, and boarding. Ive also worked at a vet hospital before working with just medicine. So I know how to administer medication, nail trims, baths, special feedings, etc. We don’t have any animals at the moment so this is one way for my son (and us) to be able to love and play with them besides going to our grandparents house and my parents houses and friends who bring their babies over! Our family would love to take care of your loved ones when you need us! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on week days before 7am and after 3:30 pm for drop off and pick ups, weekends are open! Daycare on weekdays I’m available anytime after 3:30pm - Holidays schedule varies! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! I do not have a yard and I live on the second floor, I ask that you bring anything for your pup to make them as comfortable as possible and that they are good with children.

“I had a great experience with Mariah! She was super responsive from the start, which gave us a lot of piece of mind. She made sure our pups had plenty of fresh water, play time, and kept us updated throughout the visits. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups — couldn’t ask for more!”

“Beth was an absolute blessing to have taking care of our big boy. He’s an XL bully puppy at 125lbs he is a sweetie but very strong and intimidating. She very easily managed to walk him and feed him for a week and made our lives so much easier while we were working and traveling. Boogie loved her! Thank you Beth! We will definitely not hesitate to book again!”

“Was very communicative through check-ins and texts. Our not-so-sociable cat actually sat in her lap and asked for pets, so I think that's a pretty good judge of character right there.”

“Ryan was wonderful, attentive, and super helpful, always keeping me updated on everything that was happening. My dog loved his company, and I will definitely call him again—I’m already booking another date. Thank you so much for everything; I highly recommend Ryan’s services.”

Rachel did a fantastic job watching both of our dogs, two cats and taking care of our fish! She even took our 5 year old for a walk to burn off some of his crazy energy! She’s very friendly, awesome communicator and very responsive! We will definitely book her again for our future trips!!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog Daisy received! Our sitter came to the house each day and was wonderful with her — and Daisy absolutely loved it. She played ball with her on a daily basis, which clearly made her day. Everything went smoothly, and it was such a relief knowing she was in great hands. We’ll definitely be booking again!

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
