Jenhean and I met when she was one of the main organizers of an acclaimed theater production in Los Angeles, but we got to know each other more while she has been managing my unique tiny home-laden property with great care in Joshua Tree, CA area. I am a mom to a 16-month-old vizsla who adores Jenhean. She's a magical person around whom animals flock, like a Disney princess. Animals are naturally drawn to her because she has a warm yet assertive presence. While I've been gone getting medical treatment and being cared for by family, she has checked in regularly and put my mind at ease while I know she's been doing laundry, watering plants, welcomed overnight visitors, and even managing problems as they come up, like broken appliances, with ease and skill. The same skills would absolutely apply to her being a perfect choice on Rover. You will not regret getting to know Jenhean and entrusting her with your precious family member(s).”

About: I've been working with dogs since I was a young kid, and my love for animals has only grown over the years. I remember the first time I took care of a neighbor's puppy on my own. At first, I was nervous, but after seeing the joy on the pup's face and knowing I had made a difference, I was hooked. Fast forward several years later and I've gained a ton of experience and knowledge. From walks and feedings to grooming and medication administration, I can provide the care your furry friend deserves. I am currently available Monday through Friday pretty much at any time of the day, so full time. And will bconsider weekends aswell if my schedule allows ! When caring for pets in owners' homes, I prioritize safety and follow strict protocols to prevent accidents or incidents. I secure doors and windows, keep hazards out of reach, and familiarize myself with the pet's routine and any specific instructions provided by the owner.

“We call Laura the "Dog Whisperer" as every dog loves and trusts her to take care of it. And oh, how she does! Her devotion to each dog is stellar, making each feel like they are the most special dog in the world. She has some kind of sixth sense connection. She has taken care of my dog for 6 months as my husband recovers from surgery and illness. He never wants to come home! She knows everything he does; getting up in the middle of the night to let him out; feeds him from a china bowl after ringing a bell to let him know his dinner is ready, etc. She walks him patiently. Her calm personality and love of dogs shines through and the dogs know it. I have never experienced another dog sitter like this and have had many during my lifetime. Laura will be a popular asset to the Rover program in any capacity needed.”
