About: I've been pet and house sitting off and on since I was 14 so it's been over 10 years. I love every dog I come across and try to make sure I can make them feel comfortable enough for me to pet them. It doesn't matter the age or the breed of the dog I will always want to try to connect and pet the dog. I have a retail job that I work at part time. But currently trying to make some extra money on the side. I'm willing to work whenever I'm not working my retail job I can either stay over at the house or just drop in when you need me. I can play with your pets feed them make sure they feel comfortable and safe. My mom always taught me leave a house cleaner than you found it. So I will always try to pick up here and there and clean at least a little bit if I have the time too
“Hannah does such a great job!! We are a repeat customer and our pet absolutely loves her! I highly recommend booking with her. She has great communication with us when there is a question. She makes our trips more comfortable!!”

About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.
“Taylor is great! I always get anxious & apprehensive when I leave my fur babies. This was the 1st time using Rover & having Taylor. She was awesome, I gave her a crazy schedule but she was so adaptable. She was also in close proximity to our house. I was very confident that our babies were in good hands! Will definitely contact her again. Thank you Taylor”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and love creating a happy, safe, and fun environment for every pup I meet. I have a fox red lab/golden mix(?), Sonni, who’s the goofiest, good boy I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime and walks, to laid-back seniors who just want snuggles. I’ve also fostered through Skiatook Paws & Claws, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all personalities, needs, and routines. I keep a clean home, follow your rules, and can even help with training if you’d like. Your dog will be treated like one of my own, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone, so I’ll keep you updated every step of the way with photos and messages for peace of mind. I work from home full-time, so I’m here most of the day with my dog. He usually gets at least two walks a day, with plenty of playtime between. On some Fridays and Saturdays, I work a few hours in the evening, but I’m always happy to coordinate around your dog’s needs, just reach out to check my schedule. I always make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I treat them like family and pay close attention to their routines, feeding schedules, and favorite ways to play. I keep a clean, dog-friendly space and make sure they’re never left alone for long. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out walking, playing, or relaxing at home.

About: My family bred AKC register Bulldogs for 8 years and I assisted in helping by making sure all the puppies needs were met. I grew up on a farm and once I was old enough became a ranch hand. As of right now I am a pre veterinary medicine student, and on scholarship to play soccer at my college I am currently a part time student and full time athlete. I have practice 4 times a week that starts at 6 pm and I have strength training in the early mornings 3 times and week. I have a flexible schedule and would love to take care of your cats or dogs. I am looking to provide dogs with fun and enriching walks and play time. I have a Belgian Malinois myself named Koda. She goes on runs with me and we play all the time.
“I was taking a 4 night; 3 day out-of-state trip and needed to find a trustworthy person to care for my two small dogs, Wagley and Joe, while I was away. I had not used Rover before and chose Elizabeth from the website because she had good reviews and worked in the area and could easily drop by to care for my pets. We initially texted and set up a time a couple of weeks in advance for her to come by my home to meet me and my pets prior to the trip. I had a good first impression of Elizabeth and immediately felt comfortable with her. She had a great personality was very personable. I informed her that I would be away beginning Wed. evening Feb 21st and would be back Sunday evening Feb. 25th then informed her of the schedule I wished for her to keep while I was away which was as follows: Wed. evening Feb. 21st- drop by between 7-8pm to give the dogs their bedtime snack. (I had informed her that there was no need to stay an extended period of time on this evening since I would have been with them the entire day while working from home.) According to the security camera's she did as requested arriving at 7:50pm and departing at 8:22pm. Thursday, Feb. 22 AM-drop by to feed and water the pets (no extended time with them required). According to the security cameras she did as requested arriving at 7:26am and departing at 7:38am. Thursday, Feb 22 PM -drop by around 5-5:30pm to feed and water the pets and stay until 8-8:30 pm to give them their bedtime snack then leave. According to the security camera's she arrived at 5:33pm and departed at 7:24pm. She DIDN'T stay as long as I expected but I was satisfied with the visit. She texted me pictures of the pets which was appreciated! Friday 2/23 AM- drop by to feed and water the pets (no extended time with them required). According to the security cameras she did as requested arriving at 7:15 AM and departing at 7:20AM. She texted me on this morning and provided me information about one of my pets. Friday 2/23 PM- drop by around 5-5:30pm to feed and water the pets and stay until 8-8:30 pm to give them their bedtime snack then leave. According to the security camera's she arrived at 6:28PM and departed at 6:49pm, MEANING THE EVENING VISIT WAS ONLY 21 minutes. She sent me a picture of Wagley which was appreciated but I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FRIDAY EVENING VISIT. Saturday, 2/24 AM- drop by to feed and water the pets (no extended time with them required). According to the security cameras she arrived at 10:46AM and departed at 10:54AM a bit late in the morning HOWEVER she called and informed me prior to the visit that she had obligations in another city and asked if this would be ok and I agreed. Saturday, 2/24 PM-drop by around 5-5:30pm to feed and water the pets and stay until 8-8:30 pm to give them their bedtime snack then leave. According to the security camera's she arrived at 7:04PM and departed at 8:37PM. She arrived a little later than I would have liked but again, she had informed me that might be the case because of the out-of-town trip she was taking. She brought her daughters with her that evening but also had asked prior if that would be ok and I agreed. Sunday 2/25 AM-drop by to feed and water the pets (no extended time with them required). According to security camera's she did as requested arriving at 9:12 AM and departing at 9:14 AM. Sunday 2/25 PM-NO SERVICES REQUIRED (I returned home.) For the price I paid for the entire service, I would have expected and preferred that the evening visits be longer (especially the Friday night visit which again, was only 20 mins) but overall, I was satisfied with the service Elizabeth provided. I think she is trustworthy, communicative and for the most part, reliable and I would recommend her to pet set for others. Thank-you Elizabeth!”
“Shannon.was absolutely amazing with our dog. She consistently went above and beyond and we are so thankful for her! Will definitely book her again. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you, Shannon!!”

“Emily was an awesome sitter! She was super communicative, and definitely seemed to understand my anxiety about leaving my cats. She took great pictures of my cats, and even got under my bed and behind furniture to make sure I had photos of my two hiding cats! Would definitely rebook!”

“Sarah was exceptional! She was very communicative and took lots of pictures. The updates throughout my trip were fantastic and she was very attentive to make sure my pup was taken care of and comfortable. She came during the agreed upon hours and asked questions to make sure my dog followed his normal routine. I so appreciate the thoughtfulness to make sure I had peace of mind about my pup while traveling.”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work a typical 8-5 M-F for now as I just relocated here. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just hang at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment has no yard but we have a great neighborhood to walk in and I have a lot of space as it’s three bedrooms. We have a dog park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks and hiking trails. I have an extra crate if it’s needed and lots of toys.
About: Hi, I'm Kelsey! 🐾 If you're looking for someone who will love your pets like they're my own-you just found her. I've spent the last 10+ years caring for pets of family, friends, and neighbors, and it's truly something love. Your pup will feel right at home here! I have a large fenced yard for safe play and plenty of space inside to relax. Dogs are welcome to roam or be crated based on what they’re used to. We’re right by a pond and walking trail, so they’ll get lots of fresh air and exercise. I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of time on my off days to provide lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I’m big on keeping their routine as normal as possible—and yes, couch snuggles and plenty of picture updates are included 😊 I currently work 3 days a week so I am able to devote any range of attention and care that your animal needs. I know how stressful it can be traveling without your pets and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for you and your furry companion. If you’re looking for someone who will give you daily updates and photos and a person who will give your animals love and snuggles while you’re away, I’m your person! I keep things pretty simple and focused on making pets feel comfortable and safe. I follow whatever routine they’re used to at home—feeding times, potty breaks, crate time if needed, and their usual sleep setup.
“Laura did drop in visits with our dog while I was out of town and my husband was working long hours. She let him out, took him on walks and did an great job of keeping in contact throughout the week. We will use Laura again in the future for visits or if we go out of town and need somewhere for him to stay.”

I wish I could give more than five stars! Kimmie is absolutely amazing. She stepped in at the last minute to help us when we had to unexpectedly leave town for a funeral, and I can’t express how grateful we are. Knowing she could stop by and check on our girls during a gap in their care gave us so much peace of mind during a difficult time. It’s clear she truly loves and cares for the animals she looks after. My girls absolutely adore her, and the thoughtful photo updates she sends show just how happy, relaxed, and well cared for they are. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and treats your pets like family, I can’t recommend Kimmie enough!

Hannah was fantastic! She took great care of our diabetic cat and stayed in excellent communication throughout our time away. Knowing our cat’s medical needs were being handled properly gave us so much peace of mind. We would definitely recommend her and will gladly have her pet sit for us again in the future.

jessica was great ! She took very good care of our dog He is a rescue that we only have had for 3 weeks and she made sure he was well loved and taken out several times a day. She even went above and beyond when our garage wouldn’t open She jumped the fence to get in to take care of our pup even though I had told her that my husband was coming home soon and she really didn’t need to check on Hank our dog I will definitely use her again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
