Yet again Kim did a great job looking after my cats while I was away for a business trip! I go pictures of them getting lots of play time, pets, and treats which gave me peace of mind that they were safe and getting some attention while I was away from home. I would definitely recommend Kim to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

About: My family bred AKC register Bulldogs for 8 years and I assisted in helping by making sure all the puppies needs were met. I grew up on a farm and once I was old enough became a ranch hand. As of right now I am a pre veterinary medicine student, and on scholarship to play soccer at my college I am currently a part time student and full time athlete. I have practice 4 times a week that starts at 6 pm and I have strength training in the early mornings 3 times and week. I have a flexible schedule and would love to take care of your cats or dogs. I am looking to provide dogs with fun and enriching walks and play time. I have a Belgian Malinois myself named Koda. She goes on runs with me and we play all the time.

About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and love creating a happy, safe, and fun environment for every pup I meet. I have a fox red lab/golden mix(?), Sonni, who’s the goofiest, good boy I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime and walks, to laid-back seniors who just want snuggles. I’ve also fostered through Skiatook Paws & Claws, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all personalities, needs, and routines. I keep a clean home, follow your rules, and can even help with training if you’d like. Your dog will be treated like one of my own, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone, so I’ll keep you updated every step of the way with photos and messages for peace of mind. I work from home full-time, so I’m here most of the day with my dog. He usually gets at least two walks a day, with plenty of playtime between. On some Fridays and Saturdays, I work a few hours in the evening, but I’m always happy to coordinate around your dog’s needs, just reach out to check my schedule. I always make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I treat them like family and pay close attention to their routines, feeding schedules, and favorite ways to play. I keep a clean, dog-friendly space and make sure they’re never left alone for long. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out walking, playing, or relaxing at home.

I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets, keeping them on their normal routine, and giving them lots of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I'm dependable, patient, and will treat every pet as if they were my own while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. I work part-time therefore my schedule changes each week, but I never work all day so I have plenty of time to see your loved one! About: I have a genuine love for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve provided dog sitting and boarding in clients’ homes, making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m a proud dog owner myself, with a German Shepherd named Prince and a Rottweiler named Teddy, so I’m very familiar with handling larger breeds and understanding different temperaments. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s unique needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just extra cuddles. I’m excited to grow my experience even more and treat every dog I care for like part of my own family. I work as a nanny during the day, but I’m available on weekends and have flexibility in the evenings. I make sure to keep my schedule organized so I can give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable and committed to being there when you need me. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely and keep a clean, calm, and secure environment. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, including my own German Shepherd and Rottweiler, so I understand how to handle energy levels and behavior. I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect as my own

Elizabeth took such great care of our babies! I did not worry while I was gone with them in her care. She even brought a toy over for them to play with! One of them got into a spat with a neighbor dog and she handled it like a pro and updated me immediately. Thank you so much, Elizabeth!

About: I had pets for as long as I can remember! I’ve had chickens, cats, and dogs. I’m 28, and down to 1 husky. I love to take him on morning and afternoon walks. He loves watching the neighbors cows and chasing squirrels. I trained him to sit, give me his paw, and kiss. I potty trained him at a young age and he’s full of love. I’ve sat for friend’s pets and taken them to their appointments if any. A stay at home partner. I will be available all day with pet. Might go out and get groceries but won’t be more than an hour. Can take them out as many times as pet needs. I don’t have a fenced yard but always leash my dog when taking them on potty breaks. My neighbors have cows and they surround the house at times and we sit outside and watch them once in a while. I love to walk the dogs 2 times a day for over a mile.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Claremore

We had a wonderful first experience with Aleena. We had a last minute family member cancel on us a day before leaving on a cruise and I had never heard of Rover, until google, I was so nervous about using it. I remember reaching out to several people and Aleena was the first to respond. Whe I learned she was also a vet tech I immediately felt better. Her and our baby Chapo instantly clicked and she made sure to still check in even when the weather was TERRIBLE. We were so blessed and definitely recommend. 💘

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Claremore stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
