“Lorene and Ray took such excellent care of our Gizmo while we were gone for a week! They are very laid back, super sweet and instantly made me feel at ease leaving him. I received pictures daily and Lorene went above and beyond in taking care of our baby! Gizmo had some little playmates his size and I could tell he really enjoyed his stay. I will definitely use them again if the opportunity arises!”

“Love Kristan and Quinn! Great couple that took good care of our pup overnight. Excellent communication and loved the photos. Thanks to them for the wonderful care and we will definitely use them again!!”

“Rachel is seriously the best! I was nervous dropping off my dog to anyone because he’s just a puppy, and she helped me feel better immediately. She sent pictures and videos and it really seemed like my pup had the best time there! I will definitely be booking with Rachel again in the future!”

“Hayley and her family were extremely loving and accommodating to our new puppy! We were nervous to use Rover for the first time, especially since this was our Frenchie’s first time being boarded, but Hayley provided us with frequent photos and updates of our fur baby throughout his stay-this brought so much peace of mind to us! Many thanks to Hayley & her fam for treating our puppy like their own. We highly recommend Hayley and look forward to using her again.”

“LaDonna was wonderful with my pup Nara! Very easy to communicate with, sent lots of updates and was able to take in my dog as a last minute request. Looks like Nara had a great time and look forward to booking with her again in the future. Thank you LaDonna!”

“Erin was great! I was visiting from out of state and left my pup with her for 2 days over the New Year’s holiday. I was a bit nervous because I’ve never left my dog with anyone she doesn’t know, but it worked out great. She did well with Erin and the other dog she was keeping at the same time. Erin also sent me pics and texts keeping me updated. Highly recommend her!”

“Kelsey took wonderful care of Tommy while we were away. She sent 2–3 photos every day, and what made them especially meaningful was seeing Tommy not only by himself, but happily interacting with her and her dog. It gave us so much comfort knowing he was enjoying himself and being well cared for. When we picked Tommy up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious he had been loved and treated like family. We would absolutely trust Kelsey with Tommy again and highly recommend her!”

“Amy and Charles have always been amazing and we will continue to use them to watch our pups! They send frequent updates and photos multiple times daily. Our dogs have such a good time and are so comfortable even the second they walk into the home. We feel comfortable leaving our dogs with them and they are worth the drive out of town to ensure our dogs receive the care they are given by Amy and Charles.”

“Ashley and Ryan were great! Bobo has never been away from us except for vet visits or running errands. We were a little nervous about leaving him somewhere for 3 days. But, no worries. We got pictures and updates and soon knew we had nothing to worry about. Any future events, we will be calling on them again. Thanks Ashley and Ryan for taking such good care of our Bobo.”

“Look no further and book! Amy and her family have so much genuine love and care for animals - it’s evident in the way our dog gets excited pulling into their neighborhood. Since ‘22, Amy has been our go-to. Thank you so much for everything!”

About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
