“I heard from Kimberly every day of our booking and she included pictures regularly in her communication. I could tell that my animals felt safe and comfortable in her care. She went the extra step to reassure me about medications and picked up on storm anxiety with my dog and was thoughtful about providing him some extra comfort. She left the house straightened up and clean at the end of her stay as well. Thanks Kimmie!!”

“Liz is great! Our girls loved her. She came to our house and stayed for the weekend and did great job! She sent photos of the dogs and kept us up to date on how things were going. We will definitely use her services again :-)”

“Kaci did a wonderful job watching my dog, Goose! I came home to a clean house and a happy dog😊 Kaci communicated super well, sent pictures each day, and took great care of Goose. This was my 2nd time booking with Kaci and I will book again!”

About: I've been pet and house sitting off and on since I was 14 so it's been over 10 years. I love every dog I come across and try to make sure I can make them feel comfortable enough for me to pet them. It doesn't matter the age or the breed of the dog I will always want to try to connect and pet the dog. I have a retail job that I work at part time. But currently trying to make some extra money on the side. I'm willing to work whenever I'm not working my retail job I can either stay over at the house or just drop in when you need me. I can play with your pets feed them make sure they feel comfortable and safe. My mom always taught me leave a house cleaner than you found it. So I will always try to pick up here and there and clean at least a little bit if I have the time too

“When one of my dogs unexpectedly passed away just prior to the Rover sitting weekend, she offered to bring her dogs over to interact with my dog. While I was gone, she took my dog over to be with her so that my dog would not be alone during the day”

“Jessica took great care of my fur babies. They are used to a lot of attention. They had playtime outside- with Jessica playing with them not just outside by themselves. They had snuggles and love. Knowing the care they were getting allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away.”

“Kyle was very personable and awesome with both our boys. They got tons of playtime, pets and treats. Kyle even went above and beyond by helping to extend his time due to my family emergency. Very laid back and pleasant to interact with. He even went above and beyond by sending almost daily photo updates and even fun photo edits of our boy's adventures. Hopefully, our fur-ever sitter!”

“Mia was amazing with our two dogs. She was on time and very attentive to each of our dogs separate needs. She sent pictures and kept in contact with us as needed. Will definitely reach out again to have her keep our dogs company.”

“Reed did a great job taking care of our older German Shepherds and house sitting for us. He took the dogs on walks and played fetch with them. I loved the pics he sent. Will definitely use him again!”

“Samantha was the best Rover house and pet sitter we have used. She was great at communication and photos. Our dog loved her and ate every day, instead of pouting and not eating. She was great over July 4th, kept Pixie happy. The day we were due home she cleaned the bathroom and washed her sheets and towels, vacuumed the bedroom and family room. Looking forward to using her again. Thanks so much Samantha!”

“Taylor was wonderful in house sitting and caring for my fur baby. She communicated daily with pictures and a variety of activities. She cleaned her dishes and laundered the towels and comforter she used. I am looking forward to booking Taylor again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Owasso
Kimberly did so great house/pet sitting during our two week vacation! We have an older dog with medical conditions that require medication as well as a younger pup with severe anxiety. She made sure they were cared for and stayed comfortable during our absence as well as look after the house.

We could not have asked for a better sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear how caring, responsible, and genuinely loving Kerri is with animals. She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy, excited, and clearly very well cared for when we returned. You can tell they truly treat pets like family. We will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing, trustworthy sitter!

Kaci stayed with my 14-year old Lab and my daughter’s cat while we were gone for 8 days on a cruise. She took the best care of both pets and kept me informed daily with updates and photos. My dog had been sick and Kaci took care of her exactly as I would have. Knowing Kaci was at our home with our fur babies allowed us to be able to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. She even cleaned my house, did laundry, and changed my bedding. Highly recommend Kaci. I won’t settle for trusting anyone else for my sitting needs. She was a life saver and a God send! The absolute BEST! You won’t be disappointed with Kaci caring for your beloved pets and home.

Charlea was absolutely AMAZING! She took incredible care of our dog AND our home. She is reliable, trustworthy, and extremely professional and will take care of your home as well as she takes care of your little family members. She sends multiple updates everyday and stayed in contact with us our entire time away. If you need someone to take care of your pets and your home .. hire Charlea and never think twice, she is the BEST!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Owasso on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 462 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Owasso. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Owasso walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Owasso maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Owasso choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Owasso. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
