“Kelly was great. She was flexible and communicative. When we got back home, we could tell that Sam felt cared for and attended to in our absence which is always a relief after being away, even for a short time.”

“Alyssa is amazing! Our previous dog sitter had to cancel last minute and Alyssa saved the day. She is incredibly professional, respectful, communicative, kind, and… I’m pretty sure she can talk to animals. She made both our dogs feel so comfortable. She even had our anxious pup cuddling with her by day 2. We are so thankful for her and cannot recommend Alyssa enough!”

“Brianna helped us with our sweet girl who has gone through heartworm treatments and has to stay calm and quiet for a few weeks. I was able to work knowing that my baby would be taken care of by Brianna. She loves dogs and knows what to do for those dogs that need special attention. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my baby and her brother.”

“Karla housesat with Cher while I was on vacation for a week. Everything was well taken care of, she communicated with me with pictures and updates, and my house may have been cleaner when I got home. I highly recommend Karla.”

“I am so pleased with Sophia! I needed someone I could really rely on to take care of Cher, and she was wonderful. Cher liked her, too, which is a rare privilege given to few. :) I'm going to use her again and again. Thank you so much!”

“5/5 — Absolutely Amazing Experience with Rose! Rose was incredible! She took care of our pets for two weeks and went above and beyond every single day. She sent multiple updates and photos daily, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She followed my detailed written instructions perfectly and made sure everything was done exactly as requested. Not only is Rose professional and trustworthy, but she’s also thoughtful — she left our home spotless before she left! It’s clear she truly cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Taylor was wonderful in house sitting and caring for my fur baby. She communicated daily with pictures and a variety of activities. She cleaned her dishes and laundered the towels and comforter she used. I am looking forward to booking Taylor again!”

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, a reliable and caring college student with years of experience around both cats and dogs. I grew up with cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for them and understanding their personalities and routines. Most of my family has dogs, and I’ve been dog sitting for as long as I can remember, so I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels as well. In my free time, I volunteer at the Tulsa SPCA, which has given me even more hands-on experience caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m dependable, patient, and very attentive to pets’ needs, and I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own! I currently work part-time with Red Bull, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends, and I’m great at balancing responsibilities while staying dependable and organized. Since my work often involves creating my own schedule and being active around the community, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care throughout the day. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routines, and body language so I can care for them in a way that makes them feel secure and relaxed. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more shy and independent, I’m patient and attentive to their needs. I make sure feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, and playtime are handled exactly how owners prefer, and I always keep spaces clean and safe. I also believe communication is very important, so I’ll send updates and photos to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away. Through volunteering at the Tulsa SPCA and years of personal experience with both cats and dogs, I’ve learned how important trust, consistency, and gentle care are for every animal.

“Wow, Katrina’s level of professionalism and exceptional service blew us away. Not only did we feel completely comfortable with Katrina in our home and with our doggo, but said doggo ADORES her. 100/10 recommend! Thank you Katrina!”

“Casie did an amazing job with our three dogs while we were away — it was wonderful to come home to happy, well cared for pups and a clean, well cared for house! She was great about providing updates and photos and kindly offered to do anything else we needed while we were gone. Would absolutely recommend Casie, and are grateful our dogs were in such good hands!”

“Austin took great care of our high maintenance seniors. He hardly left them alone and took them on way more walks than we asked. He was super communicative and sent plenty of pics. He was also very respectful of our house.”
“Addie was exceptional in every way. She asked questions, followed my instructions and constantly kept me updated on Bella. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Tulsa
Asher is amazing! We have a very very anxious pittie that takes a lot of extra TLC for simple things like going to potty. Asher was extremely patient and kept us updated throughout the whole stay. They were reassuring and thorough and very kind. The gave all of our babies lots of love and took great care of our house too. Definitely recommend Asher!

Ayana was so sweet to our two special babies! We have a three month old infant and a 13 year old grandpa, and Ayana very attentive and kind to both of them. I felt very comfortable having her in our home. She took care of our personal items, even when our puppy had an accident (not Ayana’s fault we are still working on potty training). I would highly recommend her to pet sit your fur babies!

Stacy took exceptional care of my dog and cat for 4 days while I was on vacation. She went above and beyond by taking my dog on extra walks, hikes, and spent a lot of time with her. I’m very happy with her care and would recommend Stacy to anyone that wants a very happy puppy to come home to!

Anna is a 6* sitter! She sent pictures and communicated daily. My dogs looked so happy. I left her our 'basic schedule' and she followed it to the T. Gave meds. Picked up poo. She washed dog bowls. The house was spotless. I couldn't ask for anything better. She will definitely be my go to when we need an overnight sitter. My dogs were so pampered. Cocker Spaniels. One of my dogs is nervous around new people and her pictures showed her to be so comfortable.
Chelsea was a God-send! She took great care of the dogs and the house. She gave us daily updates and pup pics. Even though this was the first time we used a sitter other than family, I felt so comfortable knowing everything was in very capable hands!! If we have another need for a sitter, I hope we can use Chelsea again. Total 5 Stars!!!

FAQs for House Sitting - Tulsa
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Tulsa on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 458 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Tulsa. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Tulsa walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Tulsa maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tulsa choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tulsa. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
