“Kristin and her family are wonderful, they are always so happy to see my two babies. You can tell Kristin really loves when they arrive. She treats them like they are her own, lots of TLC! I love the pictures and updates she sends me while I'm gone, I count on the pics to get me thru the separation. Kristin has always been very accommodating and flexible, trying to make it work even if it's not the perfect dates that I have requested. I could find a sitter closer to my house, but it's worth the drive knowing my pooches are happy! Thank you for loving my babies and always working with my schedule!”
“Amy and Charles are amazing! It’s so nice knowing our pup is being loved and cared for and not having to worry. Thanks for all the photo check ins and the flexibility on pick up times. Happy J Ranch is a magical place!”

“Eileen & her family provided a safe space for my pup--walking her, cuddling her & treating her like my own. She provided updates & pictures. Would definitely use you again, Eileen, thank you!”

“Time and time again (I think this was the 10th time to be exact), Amy and her family will always be who we trust with our fur baby! They are thoughtful, kind, and communicative - always giving updates and sending pictures during the stay. Thank you for loving ours as your own!!”

“Pamela is a dog lover and will do all she can to accommodate your dog’s every need. She has thought of everything and she really understands dogs. Her home and yard are perfectly equipped for her furry guests. Pamela is just a kind, thoughtful person. She will take wonderful care of your fur babies. She’s great at communication too.”
“Rachel was very kind and easy to work with. She took care of my Moose very well. He seemed very comfortable and curious of her pig and chickens. Lol. She kept him happy and would message me with pictures of him. Thank you Rachel!”

“Evette was very thoughtful and kind with Quint. He is on a few medications and she understood they were important and when to be given. She also walked him, which he loves, and some sitters won't do that. I was very impressed and will utilize her services again. Thank you Evette!”

“Amber did a great job taking care of my Molly even though Molly started being sick while we were gone and took extra care. We will certainly use her again when we take our next trip!”

“I couldnt have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she truly cares about animals. My dog warmed up right away, which gave me so much peace of mind while i was away. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which I really appreciated, and it was obvious my dog was happy, well-exercised, and loved the entire time. I came home to a relaxed and content pup. Reliable, communicative, and genuinely kind, I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.”

“Breawna was wonderful with Luna! She sent plenty of pictures and videos, which we really love. Luna had a great time playing with Boba- they got along so well despite the size difference! We’d happily book with Breawna again :)”

“Our puppy was recently adopted, so this was our first time leaving her while we went on vacation. Toneke took great care of our baby Nina. She sent us daily updates, along with videos/photos. We instantly felt comfortable with Toneke upon our first meet and greet. Toneke’s doggy, Chance, was also so sweet and Nina loved having a playmate. We will definitely be using Toneke’s services again.”

About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.

“We were comfortable leaving Dulce in Calie's care and other than food she supplied all items needed during her stay. Drop off and pick up were easy and flexible, we will definitely book with her for any future needs!”

“Moriah was a great sitter for my six year old long haired dachshund. It was my first time to leave Charlie with a pet sitter. He stayed one night and I felt fine picking him up, pleased that he seemed well. Moriah was gentle and considerate with Charlie and kept me updated by sending a photo.”
“This is our second time leaving our pup with Julie and I didn’t worry for a second! She is always super accommodating and diligent with Luna’s needs and schedule; whether it’s her feeding schedule, allergy meds, or the never-ending pets my doodle will paw you to death for 😂 All of this was confirmed when she set me a picture of Luna, not in her crate where she goes in new places to feel safe, but curled up by Julie’s feet. I wouldn’t leave my dog with just anyone but I’d book Julie again in a heartbeat. 10/10”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and I have experience cared for all breeds and personalities. I give love and I have patience. Pet care hours for me can be 1pm to 4pm Monday-Wednesday and all day Sunday, I’m currently a college football player who does this in his free time. Just to spend time with animals while not being busy with sports. When I take care of pets in your home, I make it a priority to keep your dogs dailyroutine consistent and stress-free. I respect your space and follow all your instructions closely whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication or favorite toys. I believe dogs feel most comfortable in their own environment so I take extra care to make things feel normal while you’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Tulsa
I couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Spenser treated my dogs like family, giving them so much love, attention, and excellent care while we were away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind and made it clear that Dexter and Rugsley were happy, comfortable, and having a great time. When I picked them up, they were relaxed, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It's not easy to leave your pets with someone else, but this experience exceeded every expectation. I wholeheartedly recommend Spenser to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter.

Lola (Janis) took exceptional care of my dog while I was away. My dog has significant separation anxiety, so finding someone patient and understanding is incredibly important to me. Lola went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe, comfortable, and supported during my time away. She was kind, patient, and attentive to his special needs, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being, and I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lola to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable pet sitter, especially if your pet needs a little extra love and patience. Thank you, Lola!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
