I currently have two American Shorthair cats, Alfie and Oswald, and I regularly help care for my in-laws’ four dogs. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any household guidelines provided. I make sure water bowls are fresh, food areas are clean, and litter boxes or outdoor potty areas are kept sanitary. For dogs, I provide structured walks, playtime, and mental stimulation tailored to their energy level. For cats, I respect their space while also engaging them with gentle play and interaction based on their personality. If caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm, safe environment with close supervision, scheduled potty breaks, and structured rest times. I keep spaces clean and hazard free, and I never leave pets unattended for long periods.
