“Samantha has been such a help for us by visiting our dog while we are at work! I know he’s well taken care of. She’s punctual, kind, and has great communication! Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of all my dogs and cats growing up. I’ve had two dogs in my adult life and one cat. I’ve helped previous roommates with their animals and babysat for friends and family in my own home and theirs multiple times! Currently in my home I have a doberman and a small manx cat. My cat gets along with dogs very well but knows when to do her own thing if there’s a dog that’s not friendly with her. She is leash trained and even joins in on walks sometimes. New to Dallas and currently don’t have a job yet so I am available during the day and can be very flexible with schedule for your pets. I have an apartment with a fenced in private yard that also has a dog park. I have lots of toys out there for them to play with and water on the patio. We also take longer leash walks during early morning and night before it gets too hot.
About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my entire life. They are family and I consider them children but with four legs. I have had multiple experiences in training puppies and adults. I currently work full time M-F 7am-3:30pm. My evenings are free including overnight stays. On the weekends I am free anytime for day sitting, stopping by and overnight. I would make sure they are fed, watered, played with, loved on and have everything they need. I also follow any guidance or instructions their pet parents have for them.
“Great experience! Communication was excellent, and I loved receiving updates and photos during the drop-in visit. My pet was well cared for, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. I would definitely book again!”

“I wish I could give more than five stars! Kimmie is absolutely amazing. She stepped in at the last minute to help us when we had to unexpectedly leave town for a funeral, and I can’t express how grateful we are. Knowing she could stop by and check on our girls during a gap in their care gave us so much peace of mind during a difficult time. It’s clear she truly loves and cares for the animals she looks after. My girls absolutely adore her, and the thoughtful photo updates she sends show just how happy, relaxed, and well cared for they are. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and treats your pets like family, I can’t recommend Kimmie enough!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so taking care of them is something I genuinely love. I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, and I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles while you’re away. I’ll care for your pup just like I do my own, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I am currently working full time but I can make it fit into my schedule. I can stop by in the mornings, at lunch and in the evenings. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of potty breaks, walks, playtime, and, of course, lots of love and attention. I’m happy to give medications if needed and will keep your home clean by picking up after your pet and cleaning up any messes. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“We are so happy with the care that Rachel took for our dogs! You can tell she’s an animal lover! She accepted my request quickly for our last minute out of town trip. We will be using her for future pet-sitting needs!”

“Monique was AWESOME. She did a wonderful job house sitting for us and watching our two dogs. She is attentive, professional, and extremely communicative, texting and sending pictures and videos multiple times daily. We loved it and felt very secure about how our dogs were doing. I would recommend her highly to anyone with energetic pups!”
About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.
About: I have done house-sitting for several years, I am good with puppies or elderly dogs. I am also good at teaching dogs some tricks (sit, stay, shake, up, lay down, roll over, play dead, spin, and speak). I love animals and will treat your fur babies with great care! I am only busy on Tuesday's and Thursday's until 3:00pm. I can stay over and watch your animals any night, but on Monday and Wednesday night I would have to leave by 10:00am. I live in an apartment, so for visits in my place it would preferably need to be a small dog, but I could make bigger dogs work too. I would be able to take them to the dog park, and there’s a nice area outside of my apartment to take them outside. I also have a mini dachshund that could keep them company!
About: Always one here with a special place in my heart for pets, always picking up strays and caring for many dogs and cats at once. One time I even saw a stray puppy in a foreign country and after alot of hard work I was able to bring her to the USA where she lived to a happy 17yrs I am home all day most days of the week unless it's a quick errand to the store or elsewhere. If I'm away from home it's usually not far away. We have a pretty big fenced yard with a large covered patio as well as a doggie door and a friendly pup of my own to keep your four legged kid company.
About: I’ve helped care for nine family dogs growing up, handling feeding, walking, bathing, and playtime. Experienced with different sizes, temperaments, and maintaining consistent routines daily. I work full time but have flexible hours. Typically 9–5, can adjust to 7–3 if needed. Weekends off and available for consistent, reliable pet care. I provide a safe, clean environment, follow routines closely, ensure pets feel comfortable, supervise interactions, secure spaces, and give consistent attention, care, and communication daily.
About: I have been a pet owner for over 10 years, to both cats and dogs. I have been an animal lover all of my life. I have a senior labrador who takes special care, and a young cattle dog full of energy. I am pretty much free throughout the weekdays, and the occasional weekend. I can take some special time out to play with your pups! I will get back with you asap! I travel on the road, so I cannot house your pets, but I can come to you. I have the perfect vehicle for taking pets on the go as well.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Catoosa. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
