“Kelsey was friendly, caring and took great care of my puppy.I received pictures, and updates regularly. She picked her up, and dropped her off for me without any issues. I will be using her again for any of my sitting needs in the future.”

“Christia took great care of my dog Charlie! She was flexible and gracious with my last minute scheduling needs and sent plenty of updates on how Charlie was doing. She made sure to take her to the dog park and her animals played well with her too. I would definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Marta and Marcio were wonderful! They sent many photos and videos of my dog, while they were watching her. And they communicated every step of the way! They played with her a bunch, took her on walks, and really went above and beyond showing her love and compassion. We highly recommend them!”

“This is our second time leaving our pup with Julie and I didn’t worry for a second! She is always super accommodating and diligent with Luna’s needs and schedule; whether it’s her feeding schedule, allergy meds, or the never-ending pets my doodle will paw you to death for 😂 All of this was confirmed when she set me a picture of Luna, not in her crate where she goes in new places to feel safe, but curled up by Julie’s feet. I wouldn’t leave my dog with just anyone but I’d book Julie again in a heartbeat. 10/10”

“Logan took in my Nanuk at the last minute. Logan took pictures and sent to me. Logan even walked Nanuk and of course played with him. You will feel the bond with Logan right away. Nanuk will be back since just lives in the area. Highly recommend Logan for your pet.”

“Thomasine cared for my dog as if he were her own. She is extremely professional, responsible, and caring. Dog sitting is not just a business for her, it is something she loves doing. Thank you for caring for Sox while we were away.”

“LaDonna kept me posted throughout my pup’s stay with pictures, videos, and updates. It was my dog (and my) first experience with using Rover and she made it such a good one! We will definitely plan to use her again in the future.”

“Trixie LOVES going to Evette's house. They treat her just like one of their own dogs, and Trixie fits right in. She plays with her new doggie friends during the day & loves to cuddle with the humans in the evenings. Evette sends great pics & I feel at so much ease knowing our baby girl is being taken care of so well.”

“We recently took a longer than usual trip, and left Hoss with Jodi. She was great to give us updates on how he was doing. He seemed very happy in her home, and nice big yard. We are excited to have found her, and would highly recommend.”

“I could not have asked for a better sitter for my two high energy Doberman’s… my girls were very well taken care of, both were spayed right before their stay with Lexi and she still agreed to keep them, she updated me daily and sent lots of pictures and videos. My girls were able to make new friends and be introduced to new experiences… I was worried they wouldn’t want to come home ☺️ I will definitely book with Tia Lexi and Uncle Steve again ❤️”

“Eileen took such wonderful care of our dog! She was so warm, welcoming and friendly. We got lots of pictures and updates during her overnight stay. We would definitely recommend booking with Eileen, and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Karma was healthy and happy when we picked her up after her stay. She was taken on walks daily and I received pictures daily. We will definitely book with Kristan & Quinn again.”

“Our dog Gunner, who is older now, receives perfect care from Kameryn! It's the best possible home away from home for him. We so appreciate her kind approach to him and to us!”

“Tim provided excellent care of our dog while we were attending a wedding nearby. He kept us updated as to how she was doing and sent pictures to us too. We would highly recommend Tim to take care of your pet as we would not hesitate to utilize him again if we are back in the area.”

About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.
“Rachel was great with our golden doodle Pepper! She was very accommodating, provided excellent care, and communicated well. I will definitely be using her again the next time we go on a trip! Highly recommend.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
