“My partner and I just took our longest trip away from our dog and it was nice to know we didn’t have to worry one bit! Thanks to Amy, we know our baby was well taken care of. The excitement our dog has when we pull into their neighborhood proves that! Thanks again for all you do!!”

“I would give 10 stars if I could. Aleacia took amazing care of my baby Onyx, and is about to watch my other dog. She is very communicative, send lots of pictures and videos daily. I appreciate her so much, and I cannot recommend her enough!!”

“Jesse was such a great host for our chocolate lab, Joey. She sent updates and pictures to let me know how Joey was doing and had a very positive experience. Would highly recommend and hope to book her again!”

“Laura made it easier on me traveling. She sent pictures and text updates. She was dependable and her home is nice and clean. I strongly recommend her and will use her when I leave town again.”

“Julie and Caleb are fantastic! We contacted them at the last minute to care for our five year old goldendoodle when another booking cancelled on us last minute. We are so glad we connected and will definitely be using Julie and Caleb going forward. Beautiful home (and did not smell like pets- we so appreciate that), awesome fenced backyard with plenty of shade, excellent communication, and warm hospitality for our dog upon arrival and throughout his stay. He came home to us as happy as ever and we all enjoyed the photos and videos they sent. We look forward to our next trip and have peace of mind in knowing John will be so well cared for. Thank you, again, Julie and Caleb!”

“Donna was amazing. Very kind personality and willing to accommodate Wallie's special diet and my delayed return. I will feel very comfortable leaving Wallie with Donna in the future. Her two senior dogs were very sweet and let Wallie blend in right away.”

“Shyanne was very caring and flexible while watching my Snoopy and Lucy. Snoopy developed an ear hematoma while I was gone and took him to the vet for me. She even checked up on him after I returned. Will be using her services again!👍👍👍👍👍”

“Bear had a very fun week with Amanda! He went on several walks, ran around all day with her own two dogs and was one tired dog when he came home! He was sad to leave!”

“Our puppy was recently adopted, so this was our first time leaving her while we went on vacation. Toneke took great care of our baby Nina. She sent us daily updates, along with videos/photos. We instantly felt comfortable with Toneke upon our first meet and greet. Toneke’s doggy, Chance, was also so sweet and Nina loved having a playmate. We will definitely be using Toneke’s services again.”

“This is the second time Trixie has stayed here, and she had so much fun! Kaitlyn took her on a walk & to the park, and she had a blast playing with her little girl. When we picked her up, she was happy & tired from all the fun. Kaitlyn sent me pics & an update every day, and I felt completely comfortable that Trixie was in safe hands.”

“Kelsea took my pup in pretty last minute and communicated so well with additions and changes. Love the care and transparency. Even though I know my Starmie can be a handful of energy, Kelsea went with it and did all she could to make sure everyone still had a good time at her house!”

“Karma was healthy and happy when we picked her up after her stay. She was taken on walks daily and I received pictures daily. We will definitely book with Kristan & Quinn again.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10. I’ve always grown up with dogs & have always had one in my life growing up. My grandparents dogs, friends and people I know have relied on me to take care of their pets. I have experience with puppies to dogs that are 18 years old. Dogs make my day & i treat them all with love & kindness as if they were my own children.🩵 I’m currently working part time. I clean Airbnbs in the area, so I have free time to take care of pets! My schedule is pretty flexible too. I would love to build connections with your fur babies. I have a big fenced in yard for pets to run and play in and I have two dogs who love to play! Whenever we play outside I always go with them & play & keep my eyes on them. My house they can also run around & play in too.🩵
“Harley is the best! He always responds quickly and my dog loves going to his house. He sends pics and updates me periodically which gives me so much comfort when leaving my pup is his care. 10/10!!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Karee made the experience absolutely wonderful. While we were away on a cruise, she took amazing care of our dog, Champ. She made sure to send regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip without worrying. Also, her husband was super welcoming and helped with showing Champ new tricks. Champ was so happy and comfortable. He enjoyed his time with her two Huskies. We could tell he was treated like family. We would highly recommend Karee to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Omni was fantastic! We found out our doggy was sick right before we left for a vacation. With only 1 days notice, Omni was able to provide a loving place for our dog to stay. Our puppy really seemed to enjoy his time with Omni. We would really consider booking Omni again if we go out of town!”

“She was amazing with my baby! She made sure to keep me updated and sent me pics throughout the entire time she had him. We will definitely be using Rachel again in the future!”

About: I give elite belly rubs, provide emotional support during thunderstorms, and will absolutely hype your dog up like they just won an Olympic medal for sitting on command. Walks become adventures, naps become supervised cuddle sessions, and your pup will receive enough love, attention, and goofy conversation to forget you were ever gone (sorry in advance). I’m reliable, patient, and very tuned in to each dog’s personality — whether they’re a zoomie-powered chaos gremlin or a tiny old soul who just wants snacks and soft blankets. I also have a kid-free, smoke-free home, so your pup gets a calm, clean, low-stress environment with lots of attention and space to relax. Expect photo updates, happy tail wags, and a dog that’s probably a little disappointed when you come home because we became best friends. Pet care fits perfectly into my stay-at-home routine because I’m home all day, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, supervision, cuddles, potty breaks, and companionship instead of being left alone for long hours. I genuinely enjoy having animals around while I go about my day — playtime, relaxing with a cat curled up nearby, or taking dogs on regular walks and outdoor sniff adventures. Since I have a calm, kid-free, smoke-free home, pets settle in easily and get a low-stress environment where they can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m happy to stick to your pet’s normal schedule and routines so they feel right at home while you’re away. I care for every pet like they’re part of the family — making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and all their little quirks and preferences. Dogs get plenty of potty breaks, exercise, affection, supervised play, and cozy downtime, while cats get a calm environment, clean litter boxes, enrichment, attention on their terms, and lots of cozy nap spots. I’m very patient and attentive, so whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, anxious, or extra spoiled, I adjust my care to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. Because I have a kid-free, smoke-free home and spend most of my time at home, pets receive lots of companionship, supervision, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bixby
Kaitlyn did a wonderful job with Sophie. Sophie had an urgent health issue (Stomach issues) a couple of days after dropping her off and Kaitlyn recognized it and took Sophie to the vet and then with medicine and care she nursed Sophie back to good health before we returned from our Vacation. She kept me informed with constant updates during this time. I am grateful Sophie was in such caring and professional hands.

Carson was wonderful with my girl Jubilee. She tends to have separation anxiety when I leave so I was a little concerned, but Carson texted me the first day that she had adapted right away. She is a Kelpie and her energy level fit right in with his two dogs. She got spoiled playing with them in their yard because she does not have a yard. Since she is used to taking walks, Carson willingly took her on evening excursions to sniff out new territory and sent me pictures of their walks. I think one of her favorite things to do was lay on the couch and look out the window. Carson's last picture was of her and Hazel hanging out there together. Jubilee was with Carson for almost two weeks. I appreciate all the extra care she received. He really loves dogs and it shows. I definite plan to use him again in the near future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
