“Our puppy was recently adopted, so this was our first time leaving her while we went on vacation. Toneke took great care of our baby Nina. She sent us daily updates, along with videos/photos. We instantly felt comfortable with Toneke upon our first meet and greet. Toneke’s doggy, Chance, was also so sweet and Nina loved having a playmate. We will definitely be using Toneke’s services again.”

“This was our third time to have our fur babies Skeeter and Marv stay with Leahrae. They were super excited as soon as we turned on her streetbro drop them off. We had to chase them around to tell them bye. They are always happy while staying with her. Leahrae is always great about sending up updates during the duration of their stay. We look forward to using her again.”

“Kimberly was amazing with Kemet. She was incredibly understanding and flexible when my flight was canceled and I needed to extend his stay, which took a lot of stress off my plate. Kemet can take a couple of days to settle in new environments, and she handled that with patience and care. I could tell he was in good hands. Communication was solid throughout, and I felt confident leaving him with her. I would absolutely book with Kimberly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and accommodating.”

“She was amazing with my baby! She made sure to keep me updated and sent me pics throughout the entire time she had him. We will definitely be using Rachel again in the future!”

“Amy was 100% amazing with Kona. We had such unusual circumstances and needed someone to watch her for quite a while and Amy just did an incredible job. She took great care of Kona and even helped us carefully navigate an injury that had occurred before we even dropped Kona off. You can tell Amy really loves animals and will give the utmost care and concern to any animal she is watching. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone that they use Amy.”

“Amanda did a wonderful job and made sure to send pictures and updates everyday of how my dogs were doing. They loved playing with her other dogs in her big yard. I highly recommend Amanda and plan to book dog care through her again soon!”

“Harley is the best! He always responds quickly and my dog loves going to his house. He sends pics and updates me periodically which gives me so much comfort when leaving my pup is his care. 10/10!!”

“Shyanne was very caring and flexible while watching my Snoopy and Lucy. Snoopy developed an ear hematoma while I was gone and took him to the vet for me. She even checked up on him after I returned. Will be using her services again!👍👍👍👍👍”
“Charles and Daisy were happy and willing to watch our dog sort of last minute over a holiday weekend when our other plans fell through. They were accommodating and flexible with our schedule and welcomed our dog into their home, where I know she received more attention and love than if we had boarded her at a traditional facility! They were quick to respond and made sure to send us photo updates as well. We will certainly keep them in mind for future dog boarding/sitting!”

“Laura made it easier on me traveling. She sent pictures and text updates. She was dependable and her home is nice and clean. I strongly recommend her and will use her when I leave town again.”

“Lorene and Ray are absolutely wonderful!! They sent updates and pics daily, I could tell my girls were very comfortable and happy in their home. They have such a lovely and very dog friendly home, it’s nice to not have to worry about your fur babies at all and know they are being loved and cared for by the best!! Thank you both, I highly recommend them!!”

“Eileen is absolutely amazing! My dog is very fearful and anxious of people but Eileen makes her feel so comfortable and she has settles in immediately and doesn’t want to leave!”

“LaDonna was wonderful with my pup Nara! Very easy to communicate with, sent lots of updates and was able to take in my dog as a last minute request. Looks like Nara had a great time and look forward to booking with her again in the future. Thank you LaDonna!”

“Rebecca was super friendly and you can really tell she enjoys animals. She took great care of our dog while out of town, She also gave great feedback back and would send pictures every now and then to show us how well our dog was doing. We will for sure use her again and she is highly recommended.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Broken Arrow
This is our second time leaving our pup with Julie and I didn’t worry for a second! She is always super accommodating and diligent with Luna’s needs and schedule; whether it’s her feeding schedule, allergy meds, or the never-ending pets my doodle will paw you to death for 😂 All of this was confirmed when she set me a picture of Luna, not in her crate where she goes in new places to feel safe, but curled up by Julie’s feet. I wouldn’t leave my dog with just anyone but I’d book Julie again in a heartbeat. 10/10

John provided a great experience for my German Shepherd, watching him for almost a week. Very good about staying in contact, and when I picked my dog up, I could tell that he had a great time. How? He's usually very guarded, but was wagging his tail and gave John affection before leaving. I highly recommend John and Eli.

We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful sitter for Nala! This is the second time Amanda has watched her, and the experience has been just as amazing as the first. Amanda sends pictures every day, which gives us so much peace of mind and makes it easy to see how happy and comfortable Nala is. Her dogs are incredibly kind and sweet, and they’ve really welcomed Nala in and helped her feel right at home. Nala always comes back from her house well-rested and clearly very well taken care of. We absolutely plan to keep using her as our regular dog sitter and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring, socially for our senior dog. ❤️❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
