“I'm pretty sure Tucker made a new bestie with Sarah's pup Cinder. They ran, played, and napped every day. I felt a little less guilty about leaving my dog to go on vacation because it seemed like he was on a vaca too.”

“Sheila is a great dog-sitter! She was very responsive and super caring with Benny our mini-bernadoodle. You can tell she loves dogs and makes them feel like part of the family. Highly recommended!”

“Toneke did a fantastic job and kept me worry-free while I was on a week long vacation. She is friendly, followed all care instructions, and sent tons of photo and video updates throughout the week. It was a plus that her dog got along great with mine. I highly recommend her and would book her services again.”

“Julie and Caleb are fantastic! We contacted them at the last minute to care for our five year old goldendoodle when another booking cancelled on us last minute. We are so glad we connected and will definitely be using Julie and Caleb going forward. Beautiful home (and did not smell like pets- we so appreciate that), awesome fenced backyard with plenty of shade, excellent communication, and warm hospitality for our dog upon arrival and throughout his stay. He came home to us as happy as ever and we all enjoyed the photos and videos they sent. We look forward to our next trip and have peace of mind in knowing John will be so well cared for. Thank you, again, Julie and Caleb!”

“Sonya took great care of Bella and she really enjoyed her stay there! She was easy to contact and kept me updated with cute pics and everything else. I would gladly use her services again in the future!”

“LaDonna was wonderful with my pup Nara! Very easy to communicate with, sent lots of updates and was able to take in my dog as a last minute request. Looks like Nara had a great time and look forward to booking with her again in the future. Thank you LaDonna!”

“I choose Leahrae because she seemed to watch smaller dogs. Leahrae, was welcoming of my dog and from the pictures she sent me, treated my dog like she would her own. I would recommend Leahrae.”

“This is the second time Eileen has cared for Scarlett and she did a great job once again. Eileen is very easy to work with and Scarlett obviously enjoys her visit. Would highly recommend Eileen.”

About: I've taken care of a range of different pets from puppies to turtles my entire life! I have trained multiple dogs whether its the basics or advanced, I got you! I currently have three days off a week. These days are around the weekend so I got you for those last minute trips or emergencies! I am in an apartment but this doesn't stop me. We would go on plently of walks, plays, and even swims depending on the animal of course! In clients homes my motto is leave it nicer than when I came!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Broken Arrow
John is truly a person who is very capable and loving to your pet. I felt comfortable and confident knowing that my dog was being well cared for, and loved. I will definitely use John in the future as the need arises. He was very good about providing feedback to me, as I was an anxious pet parent leaving my dog for the first time

We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful sitter for Nala! This is the second time Amanda has watched her, and the experience has been just as amazing as the first. Amanda sends pictures every day, which gives us so much peace of mind and makes it easy to see how happy and comfortable Nala is. Her dogs are incredibly kind and sweet, and they’ve really welcomed Nala in and helped her feel right at home. Nala always comes back from her house well-rested and clearly very well taken care of. We absolutely plan to keep using her as our regular dog sitter and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring, socially for our senior dog. ❤️❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
