I’ve helped previous roommates with their animals and babysat for friends and family in my own home and theirs multiple times! Currently in my home I have a doberman and a small manx cat. My cat gets along with dogs very well but knows when to do her own thing if there’s a dog that’s not friendly with her. She is leash trained and even joins in on walks sometimes. I make my own schedule and update my availability once i make my schedule. I usually work 2 12 hour shifts a week and I am home the rest of the week My apartment has a dog park i take my dog to often and there is plenty of nice areas to walk around in. My dog is very friendly and an only dog so he really enjoys having other dogs in the house during the day and frequently goes and plays with his friends at our complex dog park. My doberman is known to eat anything he possibly can, therefore my apartment is very dog proof. There is never anything laying out for animals to get into. My balcony is dog and cat proof with a safety net and they have access to it all day. The balcony has fake grass, a fan for hot days, my cats toys, cat trees, and my dogs stuff. They love to spend majority of their time out there.

So I naturally get very nervous when I leave my dogs anywhere. They have such knowledge of dogs and dog behaviors… they weren’t nervous, had a set up to combat the issue, and were just overall wonderful with both of my dogs. They also were very careful and loving to my old dog with hip dysplasia. The second day I went to drop the girls off, both of them went running right into the house and looked back like they were saying, see you later. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. I’ve been told now that I’m back that I need to keep Krystal as the dogs loved her so much. I really appreciated getting updates every evening with pictures of the dogs including the route they took, how far and how long they walked. All this was sent via email and text which was good as I was not receiving text messages (I could still communicate with Krystal via email). Overall a very positive experience.”

About: I’ve taken care of all my dogs and cats growing up. I’ve had two dogs in my adult life and one cat. I’ve helped previous roommates with their animals and babysat for friends and family in my own home and theirs multiple times! Currently in my home I have a doberman and a small manx cat. My cat gets along with dogs very well but knows when to do her own thing if there’s a dog that’s not friendly with her. She is leash trained and even joins in on walks sometimes. I make my own schedule and update my availability once i make my schedule. I usually work 2 12 hour shifts a week and I am home the rest of the week My apartment has a dog park i take my dog to often and there is plenty of nice areas to walk around in. My dog is very friendly and an only dog so he really enjoys having other dogs in the house during the day and frequently goes and plays with his friends at our complex dog park. My doberman is known to eat anything he possibly can, therefore my apartment is very dog proof. There is never anything laying out for animals to get into. My balcony is dog and cat proof with a safety net and they have access to it all day. The balcony has fake grass, a fan for hot days, my cats toys, cat trees, and my dogs stuff. They love to spend majority of their time out there.
