About: I provide calm, reliable care tailored to your pet’s individual needs—whether they’re energetic, routine-oriented, or just need a steady presence while you’re away. I focus on creating a low-stress, predictable environment so your pet can feel safe and comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 20 years, including raising and supporting 20+ puppies, working with senior dogs (my own lived to 16), and handling a wide range of personalities and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience as a dog bather at PetSmart, so I’m comfortable working with different behaviors in a calm, controlled way. I naturally pay close attention to body language and behavior, which helps me respond thoughtfully and keep things running smoothly. I follow routines carefully, communicate clearly, and make sure both you and your pet feel at ease. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your home. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with consistency, patience, and genuine attention. I work part-time on weekdays and provide pet care in the evenings and overnight during the week, with check-ins before and after work hours. I’m also available on weekends, with a limited number of bookings so I can give each pet consistent, attentive care. I typically take 1–2 weekday bookings and one weekend booking at a time. This allows me to maintain a calm, structured routine and give your pet the attention and consistency they deserve. I’m happy to be flexible for the right fit. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I’m respectful of your space, follow instructions closely, and prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and body language, making sure they feel calm, settled, and well cared for while you’re away.

Kyle was very personable and awesome with both our boys. They got tons of playtime, pets and treats. Kyle even went above and beyond by helping to extend his time due to my family emergency. Very laid back and pleasant to interact with. He even went above and beyond by sending almost daily photo updates and even fun photo edits of our boy's adventures. Hopefully, our fur-ever sitter!

Best home sitting experience I’ve ever had. Ryan went above and beyond. He was home with my fur babies basically the whole time never really left the house except to run a few errands. He also kept me updated every single day by sending me pictures and letting me know how things were going. My dogs seemed very happy and never felt lonely. 10 out of 10.

About: I have worked with horses as a teenager. And look after pets for a neighbor, family, and friends. I have a friendly dog that loves to play with other pets. Have watched puppies and senior. Right now I am at home full time so can have pets anytime and any day of the month. And have a car to drive. And have not met a dog that didn't like me. I a big front yard and backyard, have a big dog house outside, have a open living room and kitchen so have enough room for pets to move around and play. And I own a dog who is very friendly with other pets. And my yard is treated so pets don't need to worry about pests.

We couldn’t ask for better dog and house sitters than Jim and Julie. We were going to be gone for 3 weeks and the thought of leaving them in a kennel somewhere was a huge concern. Jim stayed at our house so the dogs were still at their own home and we received pictures every day of the fun stuff they were doing. When we got home it was very clear that the pups and house had been well taken care of and the girls were both even wearing welcome home bandannas. How fun! If you can fit in on the Pettyjohn’s calendar, consider yourself lucky. Thanks again!

I highly recommend Addie for house sitting and pet sitting. She did an amazing job caring for our two cats and two dogs while we were away. Addie was reliable, responsible, and communicated exceptionally well throughout her stay. She sent us pictures every day, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. She also followed all of our instructions carefully, and we returned to a very clean and well-maintained home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly trust Addie with our pets and home again.

About: I’m currently a veterinary assistant and a senior pre-vet undergraduate student preparing to apply to veterinary school. I have hands-on experience working with all kinds of dogs and cats in clinical settings, including nervous, senior, high-energy, and medically complex pets. Through veterinary medicine, I’ve become comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, handling animals safely and calmly, administering medications, and making sure pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Outside of clinical work, I also have animal care experience through shelters and other animal-focused environments. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have two dogs and a snake of my own, so caring for animals is genuinely a huge part of my everyday life. What sets me apart is that I truly want to build trust with both pets and owners. Since becoming a veterinarian is my long-term goal, I take animal care very seriously and always try to treat every pet with the same patience, attention, and compassion I would want for my own animals. I’m currently in Tulsa for the summer, my hometown, and working part-time as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic! Since my schedule is flexible, I plan pet sitting and drop-in visits around my shifts to make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, consistency, and quality care. Because animals are such a huge part of my life and future career goals, spending time with pets honestly fits very naturally into my daily routine. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I always prioritize evidence-based, fear-free style care and pay close attention to each pet’s body language, stress signals, and individual history. Every animal is different, so I focus on meeting them where they’re at rather than expecting them to adjust to me. Because I’m very familiar with animal behavior through clinical experience, I’m comfortable recognizing when a pet wants affection, play, space, or just calm coexistence. Whether that means lots of snuggles and engagement or simply being a quiet, reassuring presence, I adjust my approach to what makes each pet feel safest and most comfortable. Animals are truly my world, and I treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine care while making sure their boundaries are always honored.

Touri was a great dog and house sitter for Duke and Kya while I was out of town for a long weekend. She came by to meet them ahead of time so we were able to review care instructions in person and review our weekend plans/schedules. She is so nice and took great care of the house and doggos while I was gone. Her partner Maurice and her kiddo were also super nice and it was great meeting them too during the meet and greet. Duke and Kya were happy and healthy when I got back. My dogs love everyone but I can easily tell (because they didn’t tear anything up) that they got plenty of love and attention while I was gone. I will definitely be sending booking requests to Touri in the future

I have a fairly flexible schedule being in college, and will be able to work with you based on your needs for your animals. I am willing to work around my schedule at any cost to help you. About: I have experience caring for a wide range of dog breeds, including German Shepherds, French Bulldogs, Doodles, Labs, Poodles, Dobermans, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Corgis, Pit Bull mixes, and Aussie/Heeler mixes. I’m comfortable adapting my care to each dog’s size, energy level, and personality. I’ve cared for pets at all stages of life, from young puppies and kittens to senior pets who may need a slower pace or extra patience. I understand how important routines, clear communication, and dependable care are, and I always aim to make pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and independent, I’m happy to meet them where they are and provide attentive, reliable care. I am very patient and trustworthy, I will treat your pets and property with the same respect and love I’d want mine treated with! Hi! My name is Lillian, but I go by Lily. I’m 24 years old and originally from Louisiana. I graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo in 2024 with a degree in Studio Arts and a minor in Marketing while playing collegiate women’s lacrosse. I married my high school sweetheart of 10 years in March 2025, and after graduation we moved to Tulsa to be closer to family. We regularly help care for their four dogs whenever they travel, which has given me plenty of experience with different personalities, routines, and care needs. Professionally, I own and operate Broadview Thriftopia, a vintage clothing store in Tulsa’s Kendall Whittier district. I’ve been selling vintage clothing online for over six years and recently opened a storefront. I also work as a freelance photographer and videographer. Most of my work is self-directed and mobile, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the week. While I occasionally travel on weekends for vintage markets or spend some evenings filming sporting events, I generally have plenty of availability and can often work around your pet’s routine and needs. I grew up in a pet-friendly home with both cats and large dogs, including Dobermans, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve also spent time helping care for a variety of animals on a family friend’s farm in South Louisiana, which taught me to be calm, observant, and respectful of different animal needs and environments. I currently have two American Shorthair cats, Alfie and Oswald, and I regularly help care for my in-laws’ four dogs. This has given me hands-on experience managing multiple pets, routines, and personalities while keeping safety and consistency a priority.

FAQs for House Sitting - Jenks

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Jenks on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 451 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Jenks. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Jenks walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Jenks maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Jenks choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jenks. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
