I work part-time on weekdays and provide pet care in the evenings and overnight during the week, with check-ins before and after work hours. I’m also available on weekends, with a limited number of bookings so I can give each pet consistent, attentive care. I typically take 1–2 weekday bookings and one weekend booking at a time. This allows me to maintain a calm, structured routine and give your pet the attention and consistency they deserve. I’m happy to be flexible for the right fit.

I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 20 years, including raising and supporting 20+ puppies, working with senior dogs (my own lived to 16), and handling a wide range of personalities and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience as a dog bather at PetSmart, so I’m comfortable working with different behaviors in a calm, controlled way. I naturally pay close attention to body language and behavior, which helps me respond thoughtfully and keep things running smoothly. I follow routines carefully, communicate clearly, and make sure both you and your pet feel at ease. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your home. Melissa was wonderful! Friendly, fun personality. She even bathed petzl and took him to the park. I'm very happy, and impressed with her!
I've had Melissa do pop-ins to feed and check in on my cats and walk my dog numerous times and she's great. My dog is a rescue and doesn't seem to like anyone, but he warmed up to Melissa quickly and wags his tail everytime he sees her. We still use her any time we're out for the night or weekend!
I can’t recommend Melissa enough as a pet sitter. She has cared for my furbabies (2 dogs + 2 cats) many times over the years, including overnight stays, and I trust her. My girls are a bit high-maintainence (sorry, not sorry). My younger dog is high-energy and reactive on leash, and the older one is pretty anxious. My cats are brats with very specific routines and need to be kept separate. Melissa handles all of this with patience, confidence, and consistency. She has really great energy. Calm and level-headed but playful and engaging. She's also incredibly reliable. Has never canceled on me, always shows up on time, and communicates early if anything comes up. Follows instructions closely, reaches out if she is unsure, and knows how to handle behaviors in a way that I can't even manage with them. My pets are comfortable with her, and I always come home to a peaceful house. She's my go-to.
