About: I’m currently a veterinary assistant and a senior pre-vet undergraduate student preparing to apply to veterinary school. I have hands-on experience working with all kinds of dogs and cats in clinical settings, including nervous, senior, high-energy, and medically complex pets. Through veterinary medicine, I’ve become comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, handling animals safely and calmly, administering medications, and making sure pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Outside of clinical work, I also have animal care experience through shelters and other animal-focused environments. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have two dogs and a snake of my own, so caring for animals is genuinely a huge part of my everyday life. What sets me apart is that I truly want to build trust with both pets and owners. Since becoming a veterinarian is my long-term goal, I take animal care very seriously and always try to treat every pet with the same patience, attention, and compassion I would want for my own animals. I’m currently in Tulsa for the summer, my hometown, and working part-time as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic! About: I’ve always loved animals and have volunteered at shelters before. Many of my family members have asked me to watch their pets for them. I am taking college classes and working part time but I will still have plenty of time to care for your furry friends. If you have special requests I will work with my job to take care of those. With my dogs I let them play outside for a little and then let them roam around until I need to leave. If your pet has a specific schedule I will make sure to follow it!

While we were gone KC stayed at our home and not only did she send us pictures daily, but she kept us in the loop on her eating/potty habits throughout the weekend our return flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra night, KC was very accommodating and kind.
