About: I've always loved being around animals and have experience caring for pets for family, friends, and my own pets. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets, keeping them on their normal routine, and giving them lots of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I'm dependable, patient, and will treat every pet as if they were my own while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. I work part-time therefore my schedule changes each week, but I never work all day so I have plenty of time to see your loved one! I volunteer at shelters and I also have a shelter dog myself, so struggles with the leash is no problem for me! I’d love to take your dog on a walk or come visit them at the house!
“This was our first time using Rover. We had a fantastic experience with Kimberly. She was responsive and professional. She kept our place clean so we could come home from vacation to a clean house! She took great care of our dogs. So much better than how we used to do things where someone would just check on our dogs every day. They would always get into some sort of mischief and we would come home to a disaster. Thanks Kimberly!”

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. I was always the go to for my friends and family when it came to them needing a dog sitter. I would like to share my experience with you and your pets! I am not a beginner dog sitter as I have worked for Rover in the past. Please feel free to read my reviews! Rover is my only source of income, so I am always available! All I ask is that you give me a 2 hour heads up please. I live in Broken Arrow and so I can care for anyone's pet within Tulsa county. I have a reliable vehicle and I do not mind doing light cleaning while I'm watching after a clients pet.
“I had to go to Dallas for a medical checkup, so I left my 2-month-old puppy, Jax, with Kyle. Kyle truly loves dogs, and Jax really enjoyed being with him. He kept me updated every hour by sending messages and photos of what they were doing. Even when I got delayed due to traffic, he kindly continued to take care of Jax until I arrived. Kyle is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about animals. I would definitely trust him again in the future.”

“Caden is great. At the last minute, I was in desperate mode and he answered my request for dog sitting at my house. He came over the day before to meet me and my dogs. He was so easy, friendly and fun to talk to. And my dogs loved him right away. I felt very comfortable with him. So I took a chance and hired him to come the next day for an overnight stay. He sent me pics and answered my texts. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him.”

“Ciara was wonderful with Nova!! She sent lots of pictures, gave her loads of cuddles just like she loves and I felt super comfy having her in our home! Would definitely use her again!”

“Katrina was fantastic! She was so sweet to send us lots and lots of photos and videos that made us feel our fur babies were safe. She was very communicative and our animals really loved her. Would recommend!”

“Lutzen is amazing! She is like a real-life dog whisperer!! She came over before the booking to meet us & our fur-babies & she immediately put my mind at ease. She was great with all 5 of our dogs & even had our Piper girl snuggling up to her in no time & she is only like that to us. She sent us pictures & gave us daily updates as we asked. We will definitely use Lutzen in the future! I cannot say enough good things about Lutzen!!”

“Reed did a great job taking care of our older German Shepherds and house sitting for us. He took the dogs on walks and played fetch with them. I loved the pics he sent. Will definitely use him again!”

“Liz is the greatest. Late Tuesday night our dog, Aurora, started not feeling well. We wanted to have someone watch her the next day to make sure she was okay. I reached out to Liz at like 11pm. To my surprise, she not only responded but agreed to come at 8am to take care of Aurora. She kept us updated on Aurora's condition throughout the day and gave Aurora the best medicine: lots of love. So grateful. Thank you, Liz.”

About: I've had dogs, cats, turtles and many other animals my family & I rescued since I was 4. We were always the type to pick up strays, and get them healthy again, but we'd usually always keep them. We had a big back yard they all stayed in, and they never went far or left after we helped them get healthy again. Now I'm 25, and I've adopted my own two kitties. They're my babies and I love their silly personalities. I work full-time, so this is for sure a side gig for me, which is why I'd do it on the weekends. I might consider doing it during the week, but for now, I want to see how much or little I can handle. I only really have an apartment, but I have a big complex I can take doggies for walks in, and make sure they got all that energy out.
“Casie is a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went above and beyond to take care of are are dog and cat. Would highly recommend her. She is very responsive and communicative are top notch. Thanks!!!!”

“I highly recommend Addie for house sitting and pet sitting. She did an amazing job caring for our two cats and two dogs while we were away. Addie was reliable, responsible, and communicated exceptionally well throughout her stay. She sent us pictures every day, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. She also followed all of our instructions carefully, and we returned to a very clean and well-maintained home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly trust Addie with our pets and home again.”

About: I'VE HAD MY OWN DOGS AND CATS FOR OVER 30 YRS. I'VE BEEN DOG SITTING FOR OTHERS FOR ABOUT 11 YRS. I RECENTLY LOST MY 12 YR OLD MALTIPOM SO I CURRENTLY HAVE NO PETS OF MY OWN, GIVING ME PLENTY OF TIME TO CARE FOR OTHERS. I am retired and live in Broken Arrow with my adult daughter to help with my 9 yr old granddaughter. I no longer have any pets of my own so pet sitting is a nice way to spend time with dogs and cats. I like to have written instructions on feeding, meds, and bedtime routine. I like to do all I can to maintain their daily schedule. I will send lots of photos/videos!

“KC was absolutely fantastic! We had to take a last minute trip for a funeral & were not prepared to leave our puppy Stella for the weekend since we have never left her before. KC came to meet Stella the day before our trip & Stella loved her right away! While we were gone KC stayed at our home and not only did she send us pictures daily, but she kept us in the loop on her eating/potty habits throughout the weekend our return flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra night, KC was very accommodating and kind. When we returned she left us a nice card and flowers offering her condolences which was so very sweet. KC was the sweetest & our baby Stella had a great weekend with her! We will definitely use KC again for our future puppy sitting needs.”

“Ryan took excellent care of our dogs! He was great at sending updates and pictures along the way. The dogs were happy and healthy when we returned and the house was clean and tidy.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred New Tulsa walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in New Tulsa maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in New Tulsa choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
