“Tara always gives the best updates, lots of pictures, and takes such good care of my dog while I’m away. I never have to worry about him when she takes care of him.”

“Courtney is always available even when I ask with short notice! She always sends lots of pictures and my dogs are always clearly wore out after a walk with her!”

About: I have always lived with pets in my household, and have always felt a certain empathy towards all animals. I currently have 3 of my own cats, but I treat every animal as if they were my own. I have 3 years of pet sitting experience, and also have experience working within a boarding facility as well as working with shelter animals. I helped care for homeless cats at a local nonprofit cat cafe for almost a year and a half. I am currently pursuing an education in veterinary science while pet sitting full time. I currently pet sit full time while pursuing an online education in veterinary science so that I can be knowledgeable and prepared to help sick or injured found/stray animals or animals in a shelter setting. My only schedule conflict would be caring for my kitties at home! When working with a dog or cat who is unfamiliar with me, I will respect their boundaries and work slowly to build trust while still providing them with the proper care they need while their human is not at home.

“Great job!”

“Annie is the best! She jumped in last minute to give our pup a much needed walk and potty break while we were out of town and updated us on all the things. 10/10 recommend!”

About: Hello! Growing up with dogs, cows, cats, and horses, animals have been a special part of my life that I hope to share with you! Now we have a few funny chickens with big personalities and a Doodle. I walk the dog everyday without headphones. Please let me know if that is also your preference. Being a doodle owner is new to me so over the past couple of years, I’ve enjoyed reading trainers’ books and watched tv shows about dogs as well. If you let know, I can bring your trash bin up from the street, scoot your deliveries out of sight, and water flowers while I’m visiting with your pet. Thanks for taking a look! I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m a homeschooling mom who dreams of taking the family to Rome when the oldest is a senior. Sharing my time with your pet will add to our savings jar and bring me time outside and fun! I am available for a break to walk or check on your pet most of the time. Wednesdays in the afternoon, we are scheduled for an activity. Occasionally we will have an activity booked in advance but most of the time, my schedule can fluctuate around times and days that are convenient for you. At home, we have a fenced in yard where our dog watches over the chickens while they spend some time outside the coop. I am an expert at watching for hawks, so, Little Dogs, fear not! Our animals are well cared for, plenty of access to water, and I even make the dog’s food. Our pet is wheat free. Please let me know if your dog has allergies also.

About: Hi there! My name is Keri, and I'm excited to offer my services as a pet sitter through Rover. As someone with a passion for animal care, I'm thrilled to be able to use my skills and experience to help keep your furry friends happy and healthy while you're away. As a veterinary technician with experience working in spay and neuter clinics, I've gained a wealth of knowledge about animal health and behavior. I've worked with cats of every temperament and need level, I'm confident in my ability to care for your pets, no matter what their needs may be. I understand that medical care can be a source of stress for both pets and their owners, so I'll do everything I can to make the process as smooth and easy as possible. At home, I have four cats of my own who are my pride and joy. They're each unique and have their own personalities, so I know just how important it is to treat each animal as an individual. Whether your pet is shy and reserved or outgoing and energetic, I'll work to create a comfortable and safe environment that meets their needs. In my current role at the Kentucky Humane Society, I work to help the community with a variety of issues ranging from financial need for vet care or minor behavioral issues from their pets! Overall, I'm committed to providing the best possible care for your pets while you're away. I'll treat them as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for at all times. Thank you for considering me for your pet sitting needs, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends soon! My schedule is very flexible so I’m available nearly any day or time that is needed! I can make accommodations for any timed feedings/medications as well. For house sitting, I am unable to stay overnight but I am available for as long as you need during the daytime! My cats are indoor only, but because of this I emphasize that they get exercise through playtime everyday. We have special feeding mats to ensure they don’t eat too quickly or feel under stimulated, as well as low entry litter boxes throughout the apartment. Two of my cats are very anxious due to experience prior to adoption, so we try our very best to provide them with many hiding places and a calm environment. I would be more than willing to ensure the same level of care is provided for any of your animals, if not above and beyond this. I know the anxiety of leaving pets with someone, and would hope you could feel entirely secure in the experience with me!

“The absolute best! Works well with our dog & he absolutely loves her!”

About: I have a genuine love for animals and I have been pet/house sitting since I was 18. I have always had pets and been around all different kinds of animals. I just graduated from law school, I spend a lot of time studying for the bar exam. Taking care of an animal would be a nice break from my studies. I live in an apartment so I would prefer to take care of a pet at a clients home. I am happy to walk a dog on a leash, let them out to play, play with them, take them to a dog park.

“Emily did an amazing job with Otis. He’s pretty particular about getting his harness on, even with me and dad, but Emily was patient and helped him with his confidence to get it on. She did great with his high energy and we definitely be scheduling with her again!”

About: Hello! I'm a paramedic in need of a fun side-hustle. I was also a veterinary technician for a few years. Lets see if I can help you and your fur-baby out! :) I've had dogs, cats, and ferrets :) I don't have pets currently due to my lifestyle. I work quite a bit, but I miss having pets around often. <3 I live in an RV, so I don't have pets currently and I don't think it would be a good idea to have client's pets there due to the small space. In client's homes; a clear list of routines (feedings, outside time, etc), emergency info, and places that are off-limits to their pets would be great :)

About: I've had pets since I was a child: dogs, cats, birds, fish, all kinds of animals. I love animals. I've rescued many from homeless and abandoned homes. Now I want to take care of that loved one so you can rest easy while you work or vacation. I have a fenced yard and my neighborhood is quiet. I'm currently home all day, so I'll be able to devote a lot of time to the pets. I have a baby who will just turn one, so it's important that they be friendly and calm pets. I live in a house with a large, quiet yard. They can sunbathe and play. I can take care of oral medications. Nothing serious, please.

About: I’ve had over 20 pets growing up, from dogs, hamsters, ferrets, you name it. I have lots of experience working with animals, including lots of training caring for animals and building fast-strong bonds. Im a educator with early mornings that allow me ample time in the early afternoons and evenings to care for you pet. I have another part time job that allows me to work with animals. This my schedule is pretty flexible and able to fit around your pet sitting needs when giving proper notice. I can also be available for quick dog walks and check ins everyday of the week. I have my own dog, Onyx who is able to roam free unless I leave the house and will offer the same freedom to your dog. We live in a great neighborhood with other friendly pet owners and provide a great route for nice long walks to enjoy the weather. I can also crate or fence in your pet if needed as well.

About: Animals have played a big part in my upbringing. From cats, dogs, bunnies, parrots etc. I spent many of my younger sitting years with older animals for family friends. I quickly became the go to dog/house sitter. I learned how to give a variety of meds and even test for insulin. Five years ago I was lucky enough to raise my own puppy from just 10 weeks old. It has been a journey that has showed me patience and helped me explore the dog training work. My love for animals has allowed me to create connections with my students and hopefully with your animals as well. I love taking walks and being outside but also enjoy a nice relaxing hang out. I am a teacher on summer break, so my availability is very open. I am open for all levels of services but try not to overlap too many. My goal is to support your animal the same way I would want mine treated. Understanding each animal is important to that success. Looking forward to meeting your animals.

“After almost two years, it is our pleasure to highly recommend Christian for anyone seeking exceptional pet care! We have a high-maintenance Corgi and two Ragdoll cats, all with their own unique set of needs and quirks. Christian handles them with remarkable patience and attention to detail. Our Corgi requires daily exercise and specific dietary needs, while our Ragdolls need more engagement and attention than your usual cats do. Christian has surpassed our expectations, and we know our pets are happy, healthy, and well-loved during our time away. His experience with both dogs and cats, especially high-maintenance breeds, was apparent from his first visit. Christian also realizes how to leave your home in top condition when you return home so you don't spend your time cleaning up. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly for a more detailed reference for Christian.”

Shaine grew up in a house full of dogs and cats, and has always been the 'go to' by family and friends needing a sitter for their home and pets. Every pet that Shaine has "baby sat" loves her, and is inevitably excited for her return. Shaine is that favorite "baby sitter" that we all love. Being a full time student does not allow for Shaine to have her own pet, but it does allow her to love on other's pets like they were her own. Caring, experienced and responsible.”

Whenever I need help or advice with my animals, she’s the first person I call. Her knowledge, calm presence, and genuine passion always make me and my pets feel at ease. The fact that she’s also studying to become a vet just speaks to her dedication. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your pets like her own, Lindsey is the one. I wouldn’t trust anyone else more.”
