About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!

About: I was fortunate enough to be raised in a home with a variety of animals! I have had dogs my entire life, and cats for the last decade, with bunnies, frogs, hamsters, hermit crabs, and more along the way! Anyone who knows me, knows how important my pets are to me. They are more than pets, they are my family! I have had big, medium, and small dog breeds, and worked with cats with all different personality types and backgrounds. I understand how important it is to have peace of mind with the person responsible for your family members when you're away, and with me you will never doubt that your fur babies are being spoiled! Working with me, you'll find that I can accommodate any request or 'weird pet quirk' that you may throw my way. I find that animals respond well to my calm and genuine nature, and it provides enjoyment for me as well! At this time, in order to protect my own fur babies and yours, I will not be bringing client's pets' into my own home. I find that pets are more comfortable in their own environment most of the time, and I would rather keep their comfort a priority. I follow directions provided by the families on how to best keep their pet comfortable with a new person entering their space. Reading their behavior and body language is so important!

About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I always treat them like family, so you can have peace of mind while you are away My schedule is somewhat set in stone, I work weekdays from 6:00am–4:15pm and some Saturdays from 6:00am–4:15pm, which means I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends to care for your pets. I’m committed to making sure they get the attention, walks, and playtime they need outside of my work hours. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I make their safety and routine my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide to keep things consistent and stress-free. I always keep an eye on doors, leashes, and environments to ensure your pets stay safe, whether we’re indoors or out on a walk. I’m also comfortable providing extra care if needed, such as administering medications or handling special routines. About: I've had pets since I was a child: dogs, cats, birds, fish, all kinds of animals. I love animals. I've rescued many from homeless and abandoned homes. Now I want to take care of that loved one so you can rest easy while you work or vacation. I have a fenced yard and my neighborhood is quiet. I'm currently home all day, so I'll be able to devote a lot of time to the pets. I have a baby who will just turn one, so it's important that they be friendly and calm pets. I live in a house with a large, quiet yard. They can sunbathe and play. I can take care of oral medications. Nothing serious, please.

About: I have a genuine love for animals and I have been pet/house sitting for about 10 years. I have always had pets and been around all different kinds of animals. I just graduated from law school, I started my new job post law school. I do work in an office, but I am able to stop in and make sure your animal is taken care of. I live in an apartment so I would prefer to take care of a pet at your home. I am happy to walk a dog on a leash, let them out to play, play with them, take them to a dog park.

About: I've had my own dogs and a cat my whole life. Additionally I got my first horse at 12 and have been around large and unique animals forever (even pet deer and alpacas!) From my baby Miniature Pinscher to my Great Dane I am capable of providing individualized care. I am currently a student athlete at DSU. I ride on the equestrian team so after my one in person class I am typically in and out of the barn with lots of time to spare as everything else I do for school is online. Pet care fits into my routine as a priority. I recently moved to Dover for school, and miss my dog terribly. Prioritizing your dogs in my schedule is not just a job for me, but a source of happiness! We have a large backyard for fetch and a safe neighborhood for walks and adventures! One block over we have a small park area as well. We have no other animals in the house, just four college girls who are all missing our companions from home. In the house your dog can roam freely about and sleep in my room/bed with me, whatever they are comfortable with.
