I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!

About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! “Dogs seemed to enjoy themselves and I received plenty of pictures, so I wasn't too worried being separated from them for the first time ever. Hosts were also very understanding and willing to work with me for my one dog who doesn't play well with other dogs and offered to not accept any other pets during the time I booked, which is huge if you have a similar issue cause you know it's almost next to impossible to find anyone that will accept an aggressive dog.Would recommend!”
“I am so glad I found Dan. She took amazing care of our dog in her home while we were on vacation. I was so relieved to know he was getting the same amount (if not more haha!) of attention, love, and activity as we give him. She took him on long walks, played with him at the park, gave him extra treats, and even bathed him when he got a little dirty playing outside. Dan sent us plenty of photos and videos while we were gone. I will use Dan any time we are out of town again and I couldn't recommend her enough!”

She is very nice and friendly and her dog Yeti is very friendly and happy to see other dogs. My dog tends to have some anxiety but the atmosphere was so positive for him he was playing with toys and her dog Yeti in no time.
