He didn’t mind at all giving her eye drops and medications and changing her diapers frequently. You can tell he loves dogs and he was so happy to have our little 10lb Minnie for the three days we were gone. And Minnie was a happy girl while while she was there; she especially loved the ability to roam in his fenced in back yard, which we do not have!! I will definitely contact him first when we need boarding again!”

About: Growing up, outside of school I spent a good portion of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter and actively challenging kids around me to help provide care to pets in most need. Over the years, these experiences have translated into a unique skill set of tricks and techniques to provide your pet with the utmost attention and care they deserve. My goal is to offer any pet (cat, dog, any other small animal) under my supervision unparalleled quality of care and a loving home environment. My home is on a 4 Acre plot of land with a fenced yard. The fenced yard allows for free play at least once every 1-2 hours with my supervision. When on leash we can explore the other unfenced portion of the yard or neighborhood. Inside my home my wife and I have partitioned pet safe areas where they can freely roam. I have tons of toys for all sizes and want their stay to be a vacation for them. :) I have two small corgis that are extremely friendly and love to play with new friends. If bringing your animal to my residence is not convenient, I offer a pick up and drop off service for a round trip fee. My goal is to simplify your pet care needs, by providing unparalleled quality care, a loving home environment, and peace of mind that your family member is being taken care of by a loving family I work at home as a front-end software developer, my work schedule is flexible meaning I can provide as much attention as your pet deserves I have a climate controlled room that has doggy doors that allows them to free roam inside and in the yard (with supervision). Most services needed or requested can be accommodated. Pets are allowed to roam inside my home or in my yard with my supervision. I take dogs on at least 3 walks a day if weather permits. I can accommodate most requests I currently work a part-time job from home that allows for a ton of flexibility. That being said I have a ton of time to play with your pups and give them the attention and care they deserve. My schedule is very flexible and I seek to make things as convenient as possible for you. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that are always looking to make new friends. When boarding I make sure to keep a close eye on any pet in my supervision. I have spare crates, bowls, blankets, and a mountain of toys to play with. About: I grew up near a state park and lived alongside the wildlife it had to offer (gators, deer, black bears, reptiles, even a FL panther...). My pet experience began with my sweet puppy of 17 years. I was so excited to adopt my own dog, and my parents helped me prepare by giving me books and films on dog training. I watched her grow and change through all her stages of life (puppy to very geriatric); she passed last year and was the best girl. Grad school turned me into a cat mom of 2, and they probably know as much about the Krebs cycle as I do. I've been pet-sitting since I was 8 years old. About: My mother is allergic to cats, so I did not grow up around them; however, I have cared for up to four at one time and I spend time with the neighborhood cat whenever it comes around. You will receive pictures and updates to whatever degree you'd like. I am a very calm person, which makes it much easier on some cats, but I wouldn't take it personally if they decide to stay hidden either, and I will be completely honest which occurred.
About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!
