About: Growing up, outside of school I spent a good portion of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter and actively challenging kids around me to help provide care to pets in most need. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. I also like to schedule a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure both parties are comfortable with the booking. It will also be an opportunity to address any concerns. I work full time but have the flexibility to work remotely. If your fur baby needs someone to be home all the time, I can accommodate that. I have a fenced yard. About: Although we currently only have one female dog, we have nearly always had 2 large dogs (Chesapeake bay retrievers) for the past 20 years. We lost our big guy in April 2024 and haven't had it in us to get another. So, we are ready to share our home and yard with your pup! I currently stay home with my two year old human and 7 year old dog. So, your dog will rarely ever be alone while boarded. We mostly just leave for my older kids sports events. I have a fully fenced acre for a backyard. It's a dog's paradise! I also have a female 7yo Chesapeake who is good with other dogs. I can keep dogs separate as needed. We have fostered before and had 0 issues. We generally keep dogs separated until they have proven compatible. She sleeps with our son. So, your dog could sleep with me. We have three kids, ages 2, 11, and 13. So, if you have a kid loving dog, we want to watch them!

About: Hello. I am a lifetime dog and cat owner. I have had rabbits and other small animals too. I have experience with puppies, adult and senior dogs, as well as cats. I had a golden retriever from 8 weeks old until he died at 14. I went through all the stages with him. I have taken care of dogs and cats for many friends over the years, and am an approved foster for LMAS. I work full time but my work is close and I am home most of the time at night, and lots on the weekends. I crate my dogs while at work for their safety and so they don’t bark and disturb the neighbors, as we have a dog door to the back yard. My dogs eat morning and night but I can also do an afternoon feed at 4 PM. I can walk dogs before and after work, and they can use the dog door and yard whenever I am home. My children and I will provide lots of pets, scratches and cuddles. Dogs will get walks and access to the fenced backyard. I have two adult dogs to play with but dogs can be kept separate if needed. I can provide most anything that is required to keep your dog safe, happy and healthy. I can do the same for cats. I have a gate that keeps the dogs out of the cat part of the house when needed.
“Rachel and Frank were great with my dog Rusty, he was allowed to nap on the couch, snuggle on the bed, running around the house just like he's used to at home. Rachel provided picture updates daily, you can tell Rachel and Frank are dog lovers, they really care about your pet as their own. My flight was delayed on the way back, I didn't get to pick up Rusty until after 10pm, Rachel and Frank were very understanding. I would book with them again next time I need to go out of town!”
