About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

I'm also highly active and flexible so if you have an energetic furry friend, we'd get along great! I am part-time employed and a online college student. My availability will be extremely flexible due to that! My times will vary across every two weeks when I receive my work schedule. Pets in my clients home will be treated exactly as they are used to, if that means walks on a leash or letting them out to roam their fenced yard then that's exactly what we will do. About: Owned dogs since I was young and I’ve sat for dogs for the last 8+ years. Experience with many different breeds, ages and temperaments. Just a girl with a soft spot for every dog! During weekends I am available all day, everyday and ensure to get multiple walks, potty breaks and playtime dates into the day. During the week I do work but am home every 4-6 hours to ensure potty breaks and exercise. I live in an apartment complex that offers multiple dog runs/parks. I also walk my own dog 3-5 times per day outside in the neighborhood. I am open to crating or freedom around the apartment based on what the dog needs.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, 3 dogs at a time for a majority of that. I am attentive, loving, and super tidy. I have volunteered with the Kentucky Humane Society multiple times. I will make sure that your furry friends are well cared for and happy while you’re away. I have always been an animal lover, even as a younger kid, I would dog-sit, cat-sit, and even chicken-sit for the neighbors and family members. So if you have chickens, rest assured it isn’t my first rodeo in the coop! I have also dog sat numerous times throughout high school for friends, family members, and family-friends. Typical shifts are around 4 hours and can discuss potential schedule work arounds for your furry friends! About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager and have cared for a range of animals, from older animals who need regular medication to puppies still learning how to be. I am a full time nursing student in hybrid program, so pet care works right into my schedule and allows me to be very attentive with the animals (when I’m not in clinical rotations on Fridays!). I am able to let dogs out often for potty breaks and take walks in mornings, afternoons and on my breaks the days that I have in-person classes. I am not hosting pets at my own home at this time, so most of my work will be in clients’ homes. I’m happy to accommodate any house rules or preferences while inhabiting your space.

About: My love for animals came very young with two family cats, and later also a dog, and has continued into my adulthood, now with my three cats Opal, Basil, and Juniper. I have experience with both puppies and kittens, having helped raised both from just a couple weeks old. I enjoy being a part of your pets routine and love when they are excited for my arrival. I want to make sure they feel loved and safe with me, and know that it will always be a fun time with me around. I know cats are typically more hesitant to trust, but I am willing to take the time to gain it to make them feel safe while I am over. I am also familiar with medicating dogs and cats (either pill or liquid oral meds). I have a fairly open calendar so just let me know what works best to continue your pet’s routine so i can do my best to maintain their normal feeding, walking, and activity schedule! I live in a nice, pet friendly community. Any time your pet is outside I will be with them with their leash or harness on if requested.

About: I have always been an animal lover since I was a wee lad! I’ve never been afraid of “big scary dogs” or getting scratched by a cat. As long as they’re comfortable, I know I have nothing to fear! I always make sure to provide the best care for pets that aren’t mine because I think of how I would want my dog to be treated! I’ve just graduated college, so I am completely free to hang out with your pets all day if needed! Just give me the heads up and I’ll be on my way! I always make sure to introduce myself to the pet before anything. I make sure to feed them based off of their schedule and take them outside every hour if possible. The most important thing for me is that your pet feels comfortable!
