Pet care experience
Down to hang? I just need 🐾 🐾!
I have taken care of all types of dogs and cats through personal experiences and my additional work as a back up for Rachael B (life partner) & busy Rover. That means if something were to happen to me while you’re away, I have a built in backup. My favorite thing to do is explore the community and, depending on the dog, hang out all day at the local parks, take trips to pet friendly places like Lowe’s or go to a farm I work at from time to time.

Pat did a great job taking care of our cat, dog and house while we were away. He kept us regularly updated on the furbabies’ daily activities. He went above and beyond by watering plants and taking care of the house. Everything was well cared for and clean when we returned home. We will be happy to use his services in the future. Now we can travel with confidence knowing our pets are safe and happy.

Penny loved her stay with Patrick.

Patrick did a wonderful job as always. He was able to accommodate an earlier start date with very little notice. He even took care of my dog the day his dog sadly passed away☹️ I have total peace of mind when Zenna is with Patrick.

Pat is fantastic! I’m so grateful to have his service!

Pat did a great job watching the dogs and house.

Great job with Zenna once again!

Schedule
My skill work is on demand, which means I can be very flexible with your needs. It can be impromptu or planned, but I am in charge of that schedule. As a result, I can usually work it out. So attention would not be an issue. I do tend to work late in the night, which helps Rachael with the little dogs and benefits my ADHD to not be interrupted when trying to work on complex equipment issues. Then I sleep late into the morning providing hours of cuddle time when Rachael gets up and starts the day for whoever is present.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I utilize crates/pens when needed in my home for feeding since there will always be multiple dogs and happy to follow along with whatever you need in your home. I also utilize them at pick up and drop off to avoid certain excitement issues to limit drama. Dogs never sleep in crates unless they want to or do at home. I always use leashes when on a walks and car rides.
Pets
A typical day
I am a fairly laid back guy. My trade is diesel mechanics. I am have gotten away from that as I have aged, mainly, because it is rough on the body; but still work from time to time. When I do, I often take pups with me (if good) to the farm, or places like Home Depot. I can be high energy so long walks are no problem day or night. I like to go to the parks and canoe/kayak and have taken pups on quick trips. Those decisions come down to the owner, dog, and what is needed or wanted.
