âPat is excellent! He really pays attention to my dog and lets me know if he starts to see changes in behaviors as well as just being a great dog person in general. Pat is very attentive to her and understands how she thinks. I highly recommend him!â

About: Energetic outdoor mom of 2 and fur mom of 2 looking to share my love with your fur babies as well! From short walks to long hikes, playtime to snuggles, treats to meals I have you covered! I have vet tech assistant experience and am able to administer medication if necessary. Love to bathe, brush, comb, clip nails during some relax time after exercise. I have a passion for animals and helping others so please donât hesitate to inquire about my availability. I'm currently a stay at home mom and my days are fairly flexible. My family has 2 dogs that are flexible with their walks and playtime so I can ensure that your babies will be cared for as well. I do have a fenced in yard and do not allow them to be outside unattended either at my own house or the owners. I do enjoy taking them on long walks when they are physically able as well as playing fetch, giving scratches during sunbathing, and much more.

âAnnie was great with Chester. She was there and took great care of our little pup on his walking needs. We heartily recommend her if youâre looking for someone who loves pets and will keep you updated on their status. Canât wait to use her again!â

About: Hi there! My name is Keri, and I'm excited to offer my services as a pet sitter through Rover. As someone with a passion for animal care, I'm thrilled to be able to use my skills and experience to help keep your furry friends happy and healthy while you're away. As a veterinary technician with experience working in spay and neuter clinics, I've gained a wealth of knowledge about animal health and behavior. I've worked with cats of every temperament and need level, I'm confident in my ability to care for your pets, no matter what their needs may be. I understand that medical care can be a source of stress for both pets and their owners, so I'll do everything I can to make the process as smooth and easy as possible. At home, I have four cats of my own who are my pride and joy. They're each unique and have their own personalities, so I know just how important it is to treat each animal as an individual. Whether your pet is shy and reserved or outgoing and energetic, I'll work to create a comfortable and safe environment that meets their needs. In my current role at the Kentucky Humane Society, I work to help the community with a variety of issues ranging from financial need for vet care or minor behavioral issues from their pets! Overall, I'm committed to providing the best possible care for your pets while you're away. I'll treat them as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for at all times. Thank you for considering me for your pet sitting needs, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends soon! My schedule is very flexible so Iâm available nearly any day or time that is needed! I can make accommodations for any timed feedings/medications as well. For house sitting, I am unable to stay overnight but I am available for as long as you need during the daytime! My cats are indoor only, but because of this I emphasize that they get exercise through playtime everyday. We have special feeding mats to ensure they donât eat too quickly or feel under stimulated, as well as low entry litter boxes throughout the apartment. Two of my cats are very anxious due to experience prior to adoption, so we try our very best to provide them with many hiding places and a calm environment. I would be more than willing to ensure the same level of care is provided for any of your animals, if not above and beyond this. I know the anxiety of leaving pets with someone, and would hope you could feel entirely secure in the experience with me!
About: Iâve grown up with two yellow labs but I am not ready for a dog of my own. I am looking to share my love of dogs and help out with yours! I have done a lot of dog sitting through word of mouth but am always looking for more pups to hangout with! I am finishing up medical school and love spending any free time outdoors and with your dogs! My schedule is flexible most days and would love regulars. I can crate, play and walk your dog around the local neighborhood. My roommates request our home stay pet free so I plan to be outside with your dog
âSam is always such a delight to work with. Sheâs flexible, communicative and so sweet. Scooter always seems to have such a good time with her!! Sheâs present and trustworthy as well.â

About: Iâm a proud dog mom who knows firsthand how much peace of mind it brings to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. As a veteran volunteer at the KY Humane Society, Iâve spent years helping with behavior, enrichment, and adoption, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. Beyond volunteering, I routinely care for friendsâ animals and treat each one with the same love, patience, and consistency I give my own. Whether itâs a high-energy pup who needs long walks, or a shy dog who needs gentle encouragement, Iâm ready to meet them where theyâre at. Your petâs safety, wellness, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I look forward to giving them the care, attention, and adventures they deserve. Our world revolves around our two dogs. As business owners working from home, my husband and I are always present, loving, and devoted to pets. Safety and care are always at the heart of what I do, both on walks and within my home. As a devoted dog mom and longtime KY Humane Society volunteer, I know how important it is to protect pets while giving them loving attention. Our home is fully set up with your petâs safety in mindâwe have a secure fenced-in backyard for exercise, dog-proofed rooms, and baby gates to create safe, comfortable spaces. I closely monitor every pet, avoid unsafe situations, and tailor care to each animalâs age, energy, and temperament. From harness checks to reading body language, I ensure your pet feels secure, loved, and happy. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I will treat yours with the same care and attention as my own.
About: I have a genuine love for animals and I have been pet/house sitting for about 10 years. I have always had pets and been around all different kinds of animals. I just graduated from law school, I started my new job post law school. I do work in an office, but I am able to stop in and make sure your animal is taken care of. I live in an apartment so I would prefer to take care of a pet at your home. I am happy to walk a dog on a leash, let them out to play, play with them, take them to a dog park.
About: Iâve owned a dog all of my adult life. I canât imagine life without having to pick up dog poop daily. :) I was able to crate/potty train our puppy in less than a week! Iâm also able to help train with basic commands. Your furry, cuddly love bug will be in good hands. I am a stay at home mom, so I am free anytime to let your fur babies out, take them for a walk, replenish their food and water and give extra cuddles while youâre away. I have a 5 and 3 year old who love our dog. They are very gentle with their furry sibling. Your pet will feel safe and have another furry playmate to play with. I can send pictures once a day so you donât have to miss your baby too much.
About: Hi! I am currently located in St. Matthews and will be happy to travel anywhere within a 15-20 minute range. I grew up on a farm where we always had outside dogs and barn cats. For as long as I can remember, I was surrounded by animals. When I moved out on my own, I became a cat mom simply because I didnât feel I had the time commitment to dedicate to a puppy or dog. I am now on a new work schedule and have the time to dedicate to helping others with their pet needs. I have always loved animals of any kind and treat any living creature how I would want to be treated. I have dog sat for several friends and family throughout the years and thought this would be the perfect side job for me. I am very reliable and dependable and look forward to meeting you and your dog! I'm currently working in healthcare and work PRN, or on an as-needed basis. There are weeks when I have several days off in a row, which would give me ample time to check in or stay over to help meet your pet's needs. Safety, trust, and communication are of the utmost importance to me for this job. As I said above, I believe whole-heartedly in the golden rule and treat all living things how I would want to be treated. The same goes for how I would treat your space and home.
âTook great care of the pup! Communicated all the details, took him on an adventure in the neighborhood, sent several pic updates. Very grateful and would love to use her services again in the future for my little guy.â

About: Animals bring me so much joy, especially dogs. I truly think they are part of the family and I will treat yours as if they were children. I have almost always had one furry friend or another including cats, dogs, and rabbits. I currently have a large senior dog who needs a little special care and daily medication so I am comfortable giving those if needed. Exercise is also very important whether its going for multiple walks or just playing in the house or yard. Let me take care of your pets when you can't. I have full availability weekdays and weekends for boarding. I can also provide walks any time of the day, whatever works best for your schedule. Whatever your dog needs, I can provide. I like to be at your home because that's where your pet is most comfortable. My fur baby has anxiety worse than most people I know so I know how to be patient while giving extra love. Treats also help.
âLauren is amazing! I have two dogs, a senior and a puppy, that have different needs. She worked with me to plan their walks and communicated wonderfully. Couldnât have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Lauren to help take care of your fur babies!!!â
Lincolnshire dog parents share their Rover experiences
From the very beginning, Fatima went above and beyond with my dog. Iâve worked with other sitters before, but none came close to the level of care and attention she gave. My dog wasnât feeling well while I was away, and she handled everything with such kindness and responsibility. Even though heâs usually shy with new people, she patiently earned his trust until he was completely comfortable by her side. She kept me reassured with constant updates, photos, and thoughtful messages. Fatima is the kind of sitter every pet owner hopes to find, and Iâd recommend her in a heartbeat!

Brittany is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet with my dogs and takes the best pictures! I have a dog who is really shy and she just spends time with him and is so patient with him. That really means the world to me because as a single person who works a ton, it breaks my heart that I canât be with my dogs as much as I want to be but having someone to help love on my dogs and walk them really makes me feel a lot better!

Ashton was so great and super friendly. I was a little worried at first because our dog is still a puppy and jumps and gets excited on walks when she sees squirrels and birds. She sent updates and pictures. She was also okay with coming over the day before to do a meet and greet! Would recommend!
