About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! About: Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded with pets and been given the opportunity to care for dogs numerous times. I am very patient with animals and genuinely find joy spending my time with them. After recently graduating from college and moving into a studio apartment, it has been an adjustment not being surrounded by pets. I also understand what it’s like to have a very anxious cat— mine is too. I have one cat, a fish, and a snail of my own now! I’m currently building my health coaching clientele working from home. I take frequent breaks to walk at the park and often spend the majority of the day working on various tasks at home. I’m very flexible with my schedule right now! Since I have an anxious and non-sociable cat of my own at home I will be more open to visits such as drop-in’s and taking fur babies out on walks at the park right now!

“We had a wonderful experience! Zeke is a Lab, and they have a Lab too, plus they were watching another younger dog during his stay. He had so much fun having canine companions to play with. Their home is spacious with plenty of room for the dogs, and with four kids plus mom and dad, Zeke received lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. It was obvious he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos, they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. You can genuinely tell this is a family that loves dogs and treats them like part of the family. They’re just kind, caring people. As much as I hate leaving my dog behind when I travel, knowing he’ll be staying with a family like this makes it so much easier.
