“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

Her yard has a great space for dogs to let their energy out and she has dogs, cats and rabbits (along with other animals) that my dog got to interact with during his stay. Ryan watched our girl for 12 days while we were away. We appreciated the daily pictures he sent us and that he let us know how she was doing. Our girl must have been nervous because she had accidents while we were away, which is unlike her. She wore her reusable diapers from then on, which was less than ideal. However, given the circumstances it’s understandable, and she appeared safe, which is what mattered most to us while we were away.
Kate and her family were amazing!! She took the time to read over my dogs profile, ask questions, and make me feel at ease as this was my 1st time using Rover. I even felt comfortable enough to let them take my pup to their mountain house which my girl loved! She communicates daily with updates, pictures, and any questions. She didn’t flinch when I over prepared for my dogs stay which I appreciate a lot! Her entire family is warm and welcoming and her house reflects this as well. She’s also no stranger to taking care of any needs as they arise since she’s a Superhost on Airbnb! All positive things and nothing negative to say at all. We had a great vacation with no worries about our pup. We have found our forever pet sitter for as long as she continues to do it. Ann is #1 on my list of dog sitters. She has the patience of Jobe. Toby is a relentless barker when he meets someone. His noise did not deter Ann one bit. She sent pictures while we were away and we felt very comfortable leaving Toby with her. My plans changed at the last minute and Ann was very accommodating the changes.
