“When I traveled in the past, my family took care of my pup, Carly. However, recently I had to consider another alternative. I was very apprehensive about booking with Rover.com. But after reading Heather’s reviews and meeting her and her pups in her home, I felt certain Carly, would be well cared for. Heather sent daily pictures and I could see she was having fun with her new pup friends. On the night of my pick up, I was later than the agreed time, but Heather was very flexible. She had Carly all ready to go when I pulled in the driveway. My pup made new friends and I found someone I could trust. Thanks, Heather”

“My dog is very clingy and I was worried. Yujie put me at ease by sending updates and pictures of my dog and kept me up to date. I am a very happy customer. Thank you!”

“Amy was extremely flexible on the day that I dropped off my pups. I was greatly delayed because of an accidental slip-and-fall event as I prepared to leave home, but she was extremely accommodating. My pups were clearly well cared for and the picture she sent of them snuggling together was very reassuring. I will definitely be calling on Amy for help once again for my two dogs.”

“Ori took great care with our pup this weekend. Ophelia seemed sad to leave when we picked her up! Ori was very conscientious with her non-standard meal preps and communications were great. We would definitely ask Ori to watch Ophelia again. Thanks!”

“Paige was wonderful with my high energy pup, Ellie. Her own dogs are the sweetest! She sent photos throughout the day and Ellie came home tired and happy! We will definitely be using Paige again ❤️”

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open - even for surprise or emergency calls. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs.
“I was nervous booking for the first time in Rover, but Katia helped to put my mind at ease! She immediately setup for meet & greet, and my dog's boarding for 2 nights was a breeze keeping me updated for reassurance. She seems passionate for animals in general and I can see why she has repeating customers. Hoping for her to accept us again going forward!”

“I had to go on something like 6 trips over the past couple of months and booked Jeffrey every time. He is the best dog sitter I have ever hired. He is extremely flexible, an excellent communicator, kind, and has a great, safe space for dogs to play inside and outside. You will not go wrong booking with Jeffrey.”

“We feel so very fortunate to have had Joe and his wife Bonnie care for our 13 year old Westie, Ozzy, for 9 days. They sent updates and pictures and made us feel comfortable and confident that Oz was in great hands during this extended stay. They are true dog lovers and our sweet Oz had a very nice stay with them. Thanks so much Joe and Bonnie!”

“Elisa is amazing! She was very accommodating and flexible with drop-off and pick up. She was very attentive to our pup's needs and comfort with adjusting to a new environment. We received pictures throughout our time away which was reassuring to know our pup was in good hands. We will absolutely be in contact with Elisa for an future dog-sitting needs. The best!!”

“Michelle treated our pup like he was one of the family! In addition to sending photos/videos and text updates during the week, she issued an unexpected detailed summary of the stay. If you're in the Ambler, Montgomeryville, Lansdale, Hatboro/Horsham and surrounding areas, we highly recommend Michelle!”

About: I am a teacher, so I have lots of availability in the summer for dog sitting and walking. I also have unlimited patience and lots of energy for pets. I am the proud fur-baby mother of a rescue dog! He is about 70 pounds and tricky to walk, which has given me great experience. I know how to handle anxious pets. I am an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with my dog. In the summer, we spend most of or time in the backyard playing and spending time together: When my dog gets hot he relaxes on his outdoor cooling bed next to cold bowl of water or takes a dip in his doggie pool. The only thing that keeps us inside is thunder or lightning. Overall, I am a very devoted dog owner and animal lover and looking forward to meeting many new dogs!

About: I had dogs for over ten years. Three German Shepherd Dogs. All of therm are well trained and happy. I know what dogs need and they love me. I am currently work from home most of time except Tuesday and Thursday. I have a flexible schedule every day although I may need to have a couple of hours conference calls. I have a nicely fenced backyard. My dog just passed away so I have full time to focus on caring furry visitors. Feel free to reach out.
“They were absolutely great, definitely recommend! My dog Toby stayed with Jerrie and Xiao-Wei over the holidays and was clearly very happy there. Communication was great and Jerrie sent me pictures and updates throughout the stay. Toby didn't want to leave, we'll definitely be back!”

“This was my first time using Shamira. She took such good care of my little Nina and made her feel so comfortable. Nina is an older dog who is blind so she has special needs. Shamira did a wonderful job making sure she was safe and well cared for! We will definitely be sending Nina to Shamira again!”

“Jonathon did a fantastic job watching our dog for the week! He was very attentive and accommodating to our dog’s needs, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. He regularly sent pictures and updates, and it was clear our pup was happy and well cared for the entire time. We really appreciated how responsive and thoughtful Jonathon was throughout the stay. Our Labradoodle is a big guy and can be a bit of a handful at times, but Jonathon handled everything with ease and made sure he got the attention and care he needed. We would absolutely use Jonathon again to care for our pup and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

About: I had a Shi-tzu named Eris who died a few years ago. She was a sweet girl who had lots of energy, and she was the sweetest little lap dog. I currently look after a friends French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home and only leave the house occasionally. I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day in my room at my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.
Chalfont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Yujie was fantastic with our dog while we were away for a week. She was easy to communicate with prior to the trip and set up a meet and greet so we could make sure Lacey was comfortable with her and in her home. During the trip she provided daily updates and we felt like Lacey was having a great time. Would definitely trust Yujie with our dog again next time we travel!
