“Theresa took such good care of our two senior weimaraners---it was a short stay (this time), but they came home happy and well cared for. Theresa was very careful to completely understand the dogs' needs (diets, outdoor breaks, exercise, etc.) and was very accommodating for their 2 large beds. (She even slept with them downstairs that night rather than wake them to head upstairs!) We will not hesitate to arrange for her to care for them again; I think they miss Louie!”

“I don't know why it took me so long to post this review. Tyler was absolutely amazing with my dog, Austin! I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! I am forever grateful for Tyler's help throughout that difficult time and highly recommend using him for whatever length of stay your pup or kitty needs.”

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

She was great at providing physical activity with my dog which is a huge part of her well being! They have a lot of yard space outside which is great for running around and made me feel comfortable! She was professional and timely with answering any of my questions about my dog. Was receptive to any special requests I had made for my dog as well which was great! I would 100% book with her again if I am going away! Also she sends photo updates which I LOVED!”
