“Vanessa took care of my dog buddy as if he was her own. Buddy had a blast playing with her boys and it was so reassuring to know that she and her family cared for him so well. Thank you!”

“Hiring Dana to dogsit Buster was the best decision. We usually board him at the vet, but wanted a change so that he would have a more social, active and fun experience. Dana was thoughtful, caring, communicative and flexible throughout the entire process (from booking to pickup). She took excellent care of Buster with specific attention to our requests. She sent us many wonderful photos of his daily activities, which included several nature and park walks. Buster had his own little vacation exploring new places while we enjoyed ours in complete peace of mind. We happily give Dana the highest praise and rating with respect to our experience with her. She is a true animal lover and a nice person.”

“Very happy with Angela and Michael's care for Levon. He was so happy, we worried he wouldn't want to come back home. Having kids to play with is extra special. Will definitely use their services again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Katherine and her husband were amazing with my dog Nala. Having someone take care of your pet the way you would take care of your pet is priceless. We had that peace of mind since the beginning; from when we first FaceTimed to see if she was the right sitter and until the moment I picked Nala up. Katherine communicated with us throughout. She sent pictures and updates as the day went on and wanted to take care of Nala the same way we do. She is the best and I recommend her to anyone who needs a trust worthy person to take care and board your dog. Thank you again Katherine!”

“We left our 9 month old pup with Fandi for one week and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided. Fandi provided plenty of pictures and updates, which kept us at ease during our trip. Fandi is extremely professional and it's clear that our pup enjoyed his stay. We would rebook with Fandi in a heartbeat and highly recommend her for anyone looking for trustworthy care.”

“Jacqueline took great care of my dog Gotti while I was away. She was responsive via messenger when I checked-in. She sent me pictures. Gotti was happy and tired out when we got back home!”

“Michael and Loraine took great care of Jax, our Bichpoo. You can tell they have had dogs and are true dog lovers. Jax took to them right away, thanks to their loving manner and welcoming warmth. We’re already booked for our next trip!”

“Amy was amazing with my dog, Roxy!! I highly recommend using her. Roxy is an older mini goldendoodle and Amy was so accommodating and sweet with her. I got daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable and Amy made the process super smooth. I booked her last minute and so glad I did. I highly recommend and would use her again!”

“My sister-in-law is unable to walk the Ron while we were away, so we booked Devon to do so, and she brought her kids. Based on the photos & SIL reports, Ron loved having the kids walk him, loved all the attention, got to go to a local kids' baseball game, probably had more fun than I did on my weekend away. 10/10 would definitely hire Devon & Family again. Ron says "thanks for all the love!"”

“Our pup Kody was happy as a clam and in great hands while we were on vacation. 1. Daily updates (pics / vids) 2. Very friendly 3. Flexible schedule What more could you ask for? 😁”

“Debra was an amazing host!! She treated my dog, Macy, like she was part of her family!! Debra sent messages and pictures throughout Macy’s stay!! I would highly recommend Debra for your dog watching needs.”

“What a lovely stay my dog had! He went RUNNING inside to hang out with Alan and Darlene and their pup. I was given several photo updates everyday and pleased to see my baby enjoying toys and treats and snuggles!”

“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”

“Exceptional care by Emeline! She communicated daily with pictures and my dog was extremely comfortable with her. Will absolutely book another stay for Sage again. Thanks so much for taking great care of our baby!”

“Armani was great. Raven-Pepper has a pretty extensive feeding regimen, but she was able to follow it very well. She also kept me up-to-date on how Raven-Pepper was doing. On whether or not she ate and all the walks she took. If I am in the area again, I would definitely book with her again.”

“Jacob went above and beyond while watching my bernedoodle, Finn. Finn just had intestinal surgery and required special care and medications. I could tell that Finn really bonded with Jacob. Communication was great while I was abroad. Finn was happy and in great shape when I picked him up. Thanks!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hatboro
Jeff was absolutely wonderful with my three cats - with three very different personalities. I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. From the moment I left, I felt confident that my cats were in great hands. Jeff posted updates just about every day, which meant so much to me. Knowing how my cats were doing, seeing that they were safe and comfortable, and getting those little updates really helped easy any worry I had while I was away. It was clear that he genuinely cared about them and took the time to make sure they were well looked after. I came home to three well-cared-for cats, and I'm so grateful for the care and attention Jeff gave them. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, dependable and caring to look after their pets.
Colleen had my pup for a couple days stay and she was lovely! Very kind to send photos of our gal and would check in with me in the mornings because we mentioned she doesn’t always eat then - and she got her too! I know my pup was in great hands for her entire stay with Colleen! I would highly recommend her!

We had such a wonderful experience with Kate! She is reliable and communicative. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands. She kept us updated with messages and photos. It made being away so much easier. Our dog even became besties with one of her dogs lol. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter!

Lauren watched my senior dog 5 nights while we were away on vacation. She did a great job with communication and I had no worries that my pup was in good hands. I have a feeling my pup enjoyed the attention from the other (human) family members as well, just like home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
