“Gregory watched our mini golden for 6 days and was super communicative keeping us updated on how she was adjusting and sending lots of pictures. She had a great time”

“Rhea was great with my pup! She provided regular walks and updates. My fauna is a very picky eater and Rhea was very patient and understanding with her, all around excellent care!”

“Our boarding experience with Yuhan and family went very well. Max was happy to be around so many fun dogs and people. And they enjoyed him as well ... we will definitely use them again !”

“Another excellent boarding experience with Becky and Christian. They kept in touch and sent photos regularly. Sweetie was calm and happy when I picked her up.”

“Our VERY energetic puppy had a great time. We received updates once a day and Hillary even provided a few item we had forgotten for our dog. As we were new to boarding our dog she went through the entire process which helped a lot. We couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend Hillary.”

“Joe and Bonnie were wonderful caregivers to my dog Lulu. She has never stayed away from me before and they sent me pictures of her playing and being loved by them. I felt I could relax and not worry about her. They are very special people. I will definitely ask them to take her again.”

“Shamira takes such wonderful care of my elderly dog. Nina is blind and has a lot of special needs — diapers, meds, eyedrops! Shamira handles it all in stride. And she makes sure to shower Nina with attention and give her plenty of the things she likes such as spending time in the sun.”

About: When my friend leaves her dog with me, she feels good because she knows I feed and play with him. And when he sees me, he is happy. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your dogs ! I’m available boating on weekends. Thanks I have a large, enclosed yard where your dog can run and play freely and happily , I can easily create your dog if needed .Leave your baby in my hands.
“My sister-in-law is unable to walk the Ron while we were away, so we booked Devon to do so, and she brought her kids. Based on the photos & SIL reports, Ron loved having the kids walk him, loved all the attention, got to go to a local kids' baseball game, probably had more fun than I did on my weekend away. 10/10 would definitely hire Devon & Family again. Ron says "thanks for all the love!"”

“Milissa was great! This was our first time leaving our baby with someone who wasn’t a family member, and Winston took to her right away. We received daily updates and always felt comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care she gave him!”

“Lynda is great! I 100% recommend her. This was my first time leaving my dog meatball somewhere else and I was very nervous since he is an anxious and hyperactive dog. Lynda was very patient with meatball and very communicative, she was also great when it came to introducing meatball with other dogs, meatball was so happy when I picked him up and tired (which is good).”

“Shandara took care of my dog Freckles, as well as another dog, and her own for a few days. She did a meet and greet, sent me updates constantly, and was very professional. I would have her sit again for me.”

“Such a wonderful experience. Being able to travel and not once worry about the dog is such an incredible gift! Will definitely use them again and again!!! 10/10 for Ryan and Caroline!!!”

“Sabrina was soo wonderful with Ada, so kind and such a pleasure to work with! It was a fairly long stay and she sent frequent updates and photos and we could tell just how happy our dog was! We can’t wait to board with her again!”

“Jimmy took such good care of Amadeus, I’m so happy! Amadeus is an older dog with dietary issues and anxious/reactive tendencies that affect how he interacts with people and other animals. Jimmy took all of this with stride and made our dog feel at home. He gave us daily updates which put me at ease and listened to all of our concerns. I’d recommend Jimmy and his sister to anyone.”

“Darlene did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Theta. She sent pictures of Theta everyday and we could see the she was enjoying her stay. Thank you so much for your care and service. Al and Linda”

“Daja was phenomenal with my pup Samson! Daja was very easy to coordinate with and was super communicative about how Samson was doing. My pup left with a smile on his face, so I will be rebooking with Daja in the future!!”

“Fran & Curtis were so lovely to work with! Kitt can be a bit nervous with new people, but it was clear she wanted up to them very quickly (I’m sure thanks to plenty of time running around outside!). I look forward to booking with them again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dresher
Maggie stayed with Amy and Timothy once again and I couldn’t be happier with their care for her! They are so accommodating and helpful. They always send pictures and videos. I can enjoy wherever I am because I know Maggie is safe with them. Also, Maggie loves going with them, I can tell when I drop her off and that’s the ultimate satisfaction! Thanks Amy and Timothy!

I was so grateful as Becky and Christian took my younger pup, Jinx, in last minute for a 5 day board. She can be a handful, I know. But they only had updates with a smiling happy pup picture. I would recommend them to anyone needing anything from a small sit to a longer board. They are definitely animal people and connected with Jinx perfectly.

Penny enjoyed her stay with Rebecca and her daughter Bri while we were on vacation! Rebecca was communicative and attentive, and we really appreciate all of the exercise Penny was given while we were away. Bri even bought Penny a stuffed toy for her stay! We would happily recommend Rebecca and Bri as excellent caregivers for your pets, and would book a stay with them again the next time we go away. Thanks again for taking great care of our girl!

Jacqueline is the best dog sitter! She had a handful with my rescue Dude, a Shih Tzu mix. He was not medicated enough, because I did not realize that he was not quite as comfortable as he seemed at the Meet & Greet. Jacqueline called us, and we figured out a different medication schedule which did work. I recommend this sitter highly!
Colleen had my pup for a couple days stay and she was lovely! Very kind to send photos of our gal and would check in with me in the mornings because we mentioned she doesn’t always eat then - and she got her too! I know my pup was in great hands for her entire stay with Colleen! I would highly recommend her!

Barbara was great with Java Chip! She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, followed all care instructions, and made Java Chip feel right at home in a clean, safe environment. Barabara genuinely loves the dogs in her care. We'll definitely book with Barbara again!
Stephany was awesome! Very communicative, great handler, and my dog loved her. She took my Nala on big walks, let her out on a leash in the yard, and was attentive to her, sent me multiple pictures and videos, and I can tell my dog wants to go back. Not to mention, she took my booking request on a days notice and I went from requesting to drop off in less than 24 hours. Perfectly reasonable price, will definitely be rebooking in the future!!!

Lauren watched my senior dog 5 nights while we were away on vacation. She did a great job with communication and I had no worries that my pup was in good hands. I have a feeling my pup enjoyed the attention from the other (human) family members as well, just like home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
