“Great job. I felt comfortable leaving my pup. He enjoyed himself. Came back home and happy. I was happy he had other pups to play woth. Will use again surely. Thanks.”

“Roseanna and her sons took very good care of our fur baby. I went on Rover and she was the 1st name that popped up with great reviews. I contacted her 2 days before Christmas Eve. I needed services for 1 night - Christmas Eve and a pick up on Christmas day. Roseanna is very nice and accommodating. Kobe will definitely visit again very soon. Thanks again! :)”

“Becky & Christian welcomed Ace with open arms. They were nice and friendly and Ace had a good relaxing time looked like he was on vacation .. Thank you again”

“Milissa was amazing with Thor! Even with Thor’s separation anxiety, she was patient, attentive, and handled him so well. She was very communicative throughout his stay and sent plenty of pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I could tell Thor was well cared for and in good hands. I would absolutely trust her to watch him again.”

“Sabin is a wonderful person that just takes his job seriously and he treated my daughter with nothing but love and care! Would 1000% rebook later on. He is the definition of perfection!!”

“This was our first multiple day trip away from Kobe and I was so nervous about leaving him as we planned this trip. Being able to leave him with Yuhan really made going away easier. Kobe can be a bit anxious when we aren’t around but he has stayed here before and always comes home happy and well. We received plenty of pictures during his stay and when we picked him up he was happy to see us but was relaxed. He fell asleep in the car almost immediately. Our flight back was delayed and we were about two hours behind schedule on our return and Yuhan was very accommodating and understanding. Thank you for taking care of my baby!”

“Danielle is wonderful. Very responsive, provides updates daily and is incredibly flexible. She, her husband and dog Jones are so friendly. We cannot say enough about her care for our Riley.”

“Rebecca was so great with Birdie!! She was well taken care of and I received updates every day. I could tell Birdie was tired when she got home from her time with her. Will definitely book with Rebecca again in the future. 🙂”

“Michelle treated our pup like he was one of the family! In addition to sending photos/videos and text updates during the week, she issued an unexpected detailed summary of the stay. If you're in the Ambler, Montgomeryville, Lansdale, Hatboro/Horsham and surrounding areas, we highly recommend Michelle!”

“Ryan and his family were wonderful hosts for our dog Cleo! She’d been home with us without a break for the last 2 years while we were working from home and not traveling. They made her comfortable in their home immediately - taking her for walks, letting her hang outside with them as Ryan did yard work, etc. And we were relieved and relaxed while traveling knowing she was in such good hands! Ryan sent lots of pictures to keep us posted. Cleo’s looking forward to her next visit with Ryan already! And we’re happy to travel again!”

“What a lovely stay my dog had! He went RUNNING inside to hang out with Alan and Darlene and their pup. I was given several photo updates everyday and pleased to see my baby enjoying toys and treats and snuggles!”

“Heather had her hands full with my 7 month old lab/husky puppy. She accepted the challenge and took great care of Meadow. I appreciated the updates and pictures. Would highly recommend Heather as a pet sitter.”

“Mariia watched our puppy very last minute! We were heading into town for a wedding and our sitter at home fell through the day before our trip. She was very flexible with timing and very responsive! She sent photo updates, and we were SO grateful since our puppy is only 16 weeks! We could tell that our puppy really liked Mariia when we picked her up!”

“Molly was amazing with our big boy Buster! She sent texts and pictures throughout the whole weekend and was just super welcoming and warm when we did the meet and greet and dropped Buster off. Buster and Molly’s playful Spok are now bffs for life. We will definitely be using Molly again in the future!”

“Mary Took.great care of Tyson while I was away! She sent photos everyday! I knew Tyson was well taken care of. I will definitely use her services again!”

“This was the first time we had to leave our 1 year old pit for a weekend! She had a blast at Douglas’ house. He was very on top of sending pictures and has two very playful dogs who my Bella loves! Highly recommend leaving your doggie with him!”

“Andrea was fantastic! She treated our black lab like she was her own and made her feel right at home. She is flexible with pick up and drop off and very good with communication as well. We will definitely be booking with Andrea again. Thank you, Andrea!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dresher
Jeff was absolutely wonderful with my three cats - with three very different personalities. I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. From the moment I left, I felt confident that my cats were in great hands. Jeff posted updates just about every day, which meant so much to me. Knowing how my cats were doing, seeing that they were safe and comfortable, and getting those little updates really helped easy any worry I had while I was away. It was clear that he genuinely cared about them and took the time to make sure they were well looked after. I came home to three well-cared-for cats, and I'm so grateful for the care and attention Jeff gave them. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, dependable and caring to look after their pets.
Colleen had my pup for a couple days stay and she was lovely! Very kind to send photos of our gal and would check in with me in the mornings because we mentioned she doesn’t always eat then - and she got her too! I know my pup was in great hands for her entire stay with Colleen! I would highly recommend her!

Barbara was great with Java Chip! She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, followed all care instructions, and made Java Chip feel right at home in a clean, safe environment. Barabara genuinely loves the dogs in her care. We'll definitely book with Barbara again!
Stephany was awesome! Very communicative, great handler, and my dog loved her. She took my Nala on big walks, let her out on a leash in the yard, and was attentive to her, sent me multiple pictures and videos, and I can tell my dog wants to go back. Not to mention, she took my booking request on a days notice and I went from requesting to drop off in less than 24 hours. Perfectly reasonable price, will definitely be rebooking in the future!!!

Lauren watched my senior dog 5 nights while we were away on vacation. She did a great job with communication and I had no worries that my pup was in good hands. I have a feeling my pup enjoyed the attention from the other (human) family members as well, just like home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
